So if you don't want that much of a smoothie you're out of luck here. But you can always save some for later in the fridge! Their flavors are more protein based, lots of options there. Not very many fruit options so if you are bringing a child just know their aren't many options-but their are some. And also note they are large so you could probably split one between two kids. They also offer wraps and bang energy drinks. I feel like they are really geared towards the fitness community, which makes sense with 9 round being right there. Overall a good alternative to other places and will try again.

I was in luck when I stumbled upon this spot This location was slightly outside of downtown Billings where I was located, but it was worth the short drive The interior is spacious, immaculate, and trendy. The staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient, and the food was good The menu offers a variety of salads, bowls, wraps, smoothies, juices, etc. ALL the healthy meals! The ingredients are fresh, and you can see them before they start preparing your meal I ordered the Spicy Southwest bowl, and it was delicious, hearty, and had just the right amount of heat/spice. I also tried the Date Night smoothie which was pretty good, but I didn't love the texture. I also tried a rice vegan crispy treat, and that wasn't for me. The texture/consistency was all wrong. No crisp, no bite, and lacking in any real flavor Some tips: If you don't see a bowl, salad, or wrap that catches your eye you can create your own. Also, one of Crisp & Green's core pillars is impacting the community from a health and wellness standpoint, and they host health and wellness events. Check out their Events page on their website for dates, times, and descriptions Cheers!!

I haven't made up my mind about Nekter, yet…read more I like the options, the fruit juice drinks, the options to add other things, but I can't quite put this over the top. It's changed some since it first opened, with more easily modified choices, at least from how the menu reads. With that said, during busy times this place is a step away from hectic and not worth the wait if you're pressed for time. The drinks are very good, and with no extras making it impossible to distinguish tastes. It's a pricey alternative to at home smoothies, but far healthier than the sugar-laden options available elsewhere. If a pre-selected flavor variety isn't quite what you want, you can add or substitute choices, but know that's where the price adders will come. Still, if healthier choices is one of your goals, Nekter has you covered.

With an island-inspired atmosphere, Kava Roots has created something different in Billings. It's…read morenot kombucha, or coffee, or tea, but a kava drink made from the roots of the kava plant. Anyone who has spent time in the pacific islands more than likely knows and has drunk it. Although it's not the first place to offer kava in billings, it's the first kava bar. As you enter, the laid back atmosphere is obvious. The person behind the bar, sometimes the owner, will immediately ask if you have been in or had kava before, and if not, happily run through the spiel about kava, what it purports to do, or does not do, how it tastes and then make recommendations. If you've never seen ground kava before, it looks like any powdered mix to which you add the liquid of your choice. There are many flavor options here, and much depends on whether you want to taste the kava, or just experience the purported effects. Because it's not alcohol, you can grab one to go. However, even though it isn't alcohol, it does come come with warnings regarding interactions with drugs, increased heart rate, and, the potential for abuse. It seems that a lot of "fun" things can be abused, so no surprises, there. One of things kava purports to do, in addition to the feeling of well-being, is increase sociability. Well, based on my short time at Kava Roots, they might be on to something, because there were a lot of relaxed, talkative people. Kava Roots is a cute place, offering something different, and makes it feel like you're away from the grind and on your way to the beach. While I don't know that it will become a regular place for me, I did enjoy it enough that I won't hesitate to visit again. There were too many flavor choices for me to give up after a couple of visits.
