This was my first time at this restaurant, but I had heard a lot of good reviews from my coworkers…read morewho've been here before. When I walked in I was greeted by an employee there, Adam. I had 3 people in front of me in line and it didn't take long at all for me to reach the register and place my order. I wasn't that hungry but wanted to try the food out, so I got a Truth flounder taco for $4.95. The food was made quickly and tasted good! Bro's Fish Tacos has about six signature sauces which looked good, but unfortunately, they all have dairy in them, so I asked for the mayo based tartar sauce instead. While all the signature sauces have dairy in them, I appreciated that they stated that fact on their menu beside where their sauces were listed. I wish I had come about an hour later in the day because, after ordering, I learned that they have a happy hour from 3 to 5:30 each day where The Truth Taco is $3.50 and other dishes are cheaper as well. Some street fries were ordered for the table, and I had fished out about 5 fries without the sauce (because I figured there was a dairy sauce and cheese on top) and the fries were really tasty as well! The atmosphere inside is very fun and bright with huge glass garage door windows letting light in and colorful paintings of animals on the walls. If you have sensitivity to noise, know that they keep the music volume pretty low, but since the restaurant is right on the boulevard and has large glass windows, you're likely going to hear some noisy cars drive by. Overall, I had a good experience and would come here again, especially on a Tuesday, Sunday or after 3pm since that's when they have the best deals (which I appreciate)!

The cashier even brought my order to my car because I wasn't aware it was finished!! That was super nice. I got the fried fish bowl. I added cabbage, beans, sauce, and sour cream. The bowl was pretty good, it was just more toppings than meat. I guess next time I'll pay for extra meat. Other than that I enjoyed the food. The fries were good also. They're like battered fries and pretty tasty. They were hot and fresh!! They have fried fish, beef, tuna, shrimp, and other taco bowls. Or you can get it as a taco. Also fries, churro donuts, and more. Check them out!!

If you love burritos, you need to track down The Coop food truck. Hands down my favorite food truck…read morein Virginia Beach! I stopped by during their pop up at Farmhouse Brewery and, once again, they did not disappoint. One thing you need to know: their burritos are massive. We're talking "the size of your head" big, so come hungry or be ready for some epic leftovers. The menu is small and focused (usually around four burrito choices), but every single one is packed with quality ingredients and flavor. The Coop spends most days serving on base, but keep an eye out for their local pop-ups. They're always worth chasing down. This time around, I ordered the Pepper Jack Chicken Burrito which was grilled chicken breast, maple bacon, melty pepper jack cheese, and their signature Coop Sauce, all bundled up in a warm tortilla. Every bite was the perfect balance of hearty, savory, spicy, and just a hint sweet from the bacon. Their Coop sauce is one of a kind. Tangy, and delicious. I'm sure adding an egg would take it to the next level (that's an option on all burritos). My friends had the Breakfast Burrito! This one comes with fluffy scrambled eggs, sharp cheddar cheese, juicy sausage, more of that craveable maple bacon, herby potatoes, and (of course) the signature Coop Sauce. They raved about every bite. I appreciate that The Coop keeps things simple with their streamlined menu and focus on top-notch burritos. Whenever I see them around town, I make it a point to stop ... even if there's a line, it moves fast and is absolutely worth the wait. Whether you're looking for a new lunch favorite or just crave seriously great street food, The Coop is a true gem on the Virginia Beach food truck scene. Can't wait to catch them at their next pop-up!

Their food is out of this world heavenly. My personal fav is the Korean BBQ bowl! That fried egg on top is The Lumpia is also cooked perfectly and delicious with their dipping sauce. Don't even get me started on the funnel cake fries though. Highly recommend LuvABowls. Not only is their food amazing but the owners and staff are incredibly kind people! 12/10!

When I opened it I thought they gave it to me by mistake because it looked like someone already ate it (no I haven't touched it yet in this picture!). We went back to the food truck to ask if this was a mistake and they said no. The dish was supposed to come with an egg too but they ran out and still charged full price. The food was cold and overall just ok. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion. The rest of their food items on the menu sounded good, but if they are anything like the portion we got in this picture, I'm not sure I'd want to spend my money to try the others. The flavor was ok but would have been more enjoyable if they warmed the food and gave us a little bit more. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the food truck but it's green with king Neptune on it. Cute, but I hoped a bit more from this place.

Taste of Brazil was the food truck here that night, so I scoped their menu online before ordering. We both ordered the chicken plate - mine without the plantains and his with. They were supposed to be open for ordering at 5:00 pm, but didn't start taking orders until nearly 5:30. Then, the waiting... and waiting... and waiting... 45 minutes later (and we were 3rd in line to order), we finally got our food (they definitely need to prep ahead of time for the anticipated lines). It was NOT worth the wait and we were really disappointed. For $10 each, we got a ton of plain basmati rice, some black beans, the most tasteless, dry chicken, a little shredded lettuce and a couple of grape tomatoes. I definitely wouldn't seek out the brick and mortar location and, if they're on schedule at a brewery, would be eating at home first or finding another way to spend my time.
