Had a fuel line leak, due to rodent chewing the hose. It was replaced and I was back on the road in 30 minutes. Great, friendly service.

If I were moving to California, maybe - but I can't put a price on a seat warmers, a roaring heater and defrost in freezing climates between late November and early March in Kansas City.

You are the most crooked SOB I have ever encountered. The front brake caliper and brake pads you…read morewere supposed to replace were never done and now my truck is in desperate need of repairs and can't be driven due to further damage. I paid you $320.00 for repairs that were never made on my yellow Dodge Dakota Sport truck which as proven to me by another shop. You are damn lucky I didn't get into an accident. I should sue your sorry ass..

I've been going to Rob McAtee for car repairs for almost 20 years and my guess is I'm not the only…read morecustomer with that sort of long relationship. McAtee Mechanical is the sort of super trustworthy car mechanic that you always hope to find. Like the high school guy in your group who could just listen to your beater that your parents passed down to you and tell you what would keep that engine purring. I don't purchase any car without getting his opinion and each time he's been totally on the mark about his assessment of a car's road worthiness. I almost hesitate to post a review for fear he'll get a bevy of new customers because he's that good. But since he just helped me decide on my latest purchase and it's new enough it better not have many hiccups -- I'll let the secret out. Though I know there's probably enough fans of his excellent work that he stays pretty darn busy and hardly needs a yelp review. But if you have need a trustworthy mechanic then call him, it's worth the wait!

I'm on the hunt for a new bike shop, and Elite Cycling didn't exactly win me over…read more I popped in looking for a seatpost replacement, and the overall vibe and attitude were not the best. They told me I should just fix it, and to their credit, gave me some tips. The thing is, we're moving, selling our house, packing, etc. and I'd rather they just help out with a seatpost or offer to schedule a time for me to have them fix it. To me, it felt dismissive. I then inquired about a new bike, something I've been excited about the past few years and saving up for. I told them my budget for it which is on par for a small car, and they said "We aren't gonna have anything in that range." I was a bit shocked, and they clarified it's more due to Covid disrupting the supply vs demand. I know that's an issue, but again, dismissive to be shot down when I have the cash ready to go for a good new road bike. Overall it felt like they couldn't wait to be rid of me in the five minutes I was there. I got to know the folks are two now defunct bike shops and actually enjoyed going in to them. This one definitely didn't bring it for me like the past ones. I get it, they're in a high dollar area and can afford to get by without the friendly neighborhood shop feel, but it's not for me, and I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

I can't give them a full review since I only visited the shop while in town for something. They…read moredidn't work on my bike so it's just my interaction with the crew there. It was ok. They weren't overly friendly, somewhat "elitist" if you know what I mean. Which is funny since they have no clue who I am or what I've done in the bike world. Hopefully it was just an off day for them, who knows. Place was pretty cluttered.
