They did a simple transmission flush. I didn't have to move the car, he was able to work around in my garage easily. Afterwards, he explained their other services and what to do if my transmission ever became a serious problem. They did charge me an additional $75 to come to Parkville, But I thought it was worth it since I didn't have to drive to my usual mechanic and wait for them to finish the job. He saved me about a day's worth of waiting and driving.

This place is amazing! Jesse is all about great customer service, and supply. They often have what…read moreI need, but if they don't, they get it fast. I can't believe Alter Ego MC is right here in Shawnee, KS. It's hard to find a small privately owned Harley Davidson parts place like this anymore. This weekend Jesse made my day. I needed an extension to clear the exhaust pipe and mount passenger footrests on my 2002 Heritage Softail. He had one set he just got in for another customer. Unknown to me, while I was looking at other things, he called the customer who could not come get it for another week and a half, so the customer let me buy it and Jesse ordered another set for him. To Jesse, and whoever that customer is... THANK YOU BROTHER!

As a new Harley owner Jesse made me feel like I've been coming in there for years, on my very first visit. I was greeted as soon as I entered his store, even while he was helping another customer. His prices are very reasonable and far lower than what you'd pay at a Harley dealer. Having been in retail myself my entire career, Jesse at Alter Ego, is doing an amazing job at taking care of his customers. I've already recommended Alter Ego to several others and will use any excuse to my wife to stop by. If you are looking for parts, accessories or maintenance items for your Harley or other bikes, I'd highly recommend stopping by and giving Jesse's shop a try!

I got an inspection done, titling and tags installed on the car in less time than waiting for what clearly appears to be a grift here. I wouldn't even take my cars here now for air in the tires.
