We've rented through Scooter Vacations three previous times and have a forth scheduled for later this year. Previously twice while staying on property at Universal Studios and once at a Disney hotel. Every time the whole rental process was flawless. The scooter was delivered to our hotel before we arrived and was there waiting for us. When we were done, we just left it at the hotel where we picked it up from. That's it! So much cheaper then renting from the parks. One rental had a loose tail light cover, but we just kept it in the back pocket of the scooter chair. No big deal. And the people that own/run the business are wonderful to speak with. Very accommodating. You always speak to a live person over the phone. Highly recommended. read more

Do NOT use this company, you will get the run around trying to rent a scooter. They have an elaborate online reservation system, but make you call for a "code" before you can complete the reservation. When you attempt to get the code, they quote you a much higher price, then tell you the driver can't make it out to your location in time to get back to their "standard delivery area", then they recommend an entirely different company! If I could give NO stars, I would. They promise 24 hour service and that they'll even come to the parks. LIES LIES LIES Mine broke down at midnight. Now REMEMBER, I'm renting this because I cannot walk. The owner told me to push it back, myself. She wasn't coming to get it, wasn't sending anyone for it. Then she sneered that it was funny the scooter broke down on my last day. I could hear her bedmate, whoever THAT was, spurring her on with his own snide comments. Awful, terrible customer service AND no support. Lucky there was a Disney rep there who pushed it for me, one portion. Then I had to have a valet assist me. Staff is rude. I specifically asked for a go go sized scooter, the smallest available so I would be able to transport in my vehicle. They sent me a larger scooter which I couldn't disassemble on my own because I am disabled, and refused to make it right. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I rented a scooter for my sons make a wish trip to Disney world and was treated so horribly and was so disrespected. The chair was ripped the handles bars were disgusting and torn it kept not wanting to turn on even tho it was fully charged. We had to call to have someone fix or replace it and I had to fix it myself with there repair guy on the phone cause they refused to do anything else. I was shamed for being a make a wish family. Rented two scooters for my parents so their Disney World trip could be more enjoyable. From park open until close, they were they were living it up thanks to these scooters! Both delivery and pickup went smoothly, battery life was excellent and overall things went quite well. The scooters themselves were a little banged up and not every feature was usable. One headlight had a short but eventually worked, the neutral switch on one of them didn't work at all - but we still managed. Once my folks got the hang of maneuvering on Disney buses, we really had no complaints. None of the issues were worth calling for a replacement. Based on service and overall battery life, I would definitely rent from this company again. Disney charges much more for a bulkier scooter that you can't even reserve, so we were quite happy overall with our experience. Thank you! read more

Sorry I rented from this company! My dads scooter was delivered broken the delivery driver was suppose to come back with a part and never showed up! I wish I could post pictures for you all to see. His horn button was broken also. I got one of the scooters that said it could fit in the car and it was so heavy you really couldn't pick it up. Do yourself a favor and find a different company. My family used these losers for the first time about a week ago for my disabled mother. The scooter was dropped off at the wrong hotel and this business wasn't the least bit apologetic. SHOCKING EXPERIENCE!!! YOU MUST READ BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM...I PROMISE THIS REVIEW WILL SAVE YOUR VACATION EXPERIENCE.. To make this a very easy quick review for those looking for a great affordable experience with at least respectful customer service I will let you in on our horrific experience. We booked the Ecv weeks in advance, the day we are arriving we hit horrible weather which put us a little behind . We get a call at 8:00am in the morning saying that we need to be there for them to drop off the scooter which was fine with us but we told them that we wouldn't be there till 3pm then we get a call back around 10am saying they don't deliver after 9 am.. We said we would be arriving at 3pm and I'm sure there are people traveling from everywhere around the world and they don't all arrive at 9am and his response was " we'll we cant just deliver at 3 in the morning or whenever you arrive" he was extremely sarcastic, we didn't ask for it at 3 in the morning and he also tells us they only have one driver which I don't think is good when your a " reliable" company and can pick up scooters and deliver them and fix scooters if they break down at the amusement park.. I guess you better break down between the hours of 8am and 9am or you will be pushing your scooter..so after the rude conversation with him we knew that the owner of a company would be very upset and want to make things right for there customers.. Oh wow I stand corrected.. She was rude as can be.. Told her everything and she accused us of not answering his calls that he has been trying to call us all day. her first statement was " WE'LL I CAN JUST REFUND YOUR MONEY!!!" I was shocked.. And then she accused me of screaming at her . I Didn't even raise my voice.. Anyways the women is scary and ruined our vacation.. So long story short.. There company runs on two rules..1) THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG AND JUST REFUND MONEY TO NOT BE INCONVENIENCED. 2) THEY ONLY DELIVER ON THERE TIME AND YOU WILL BE TALKED TO IN A DEGRADING MANNER AS THEY SEE JUST. Must be the normal for them. We hung up the phone and called the next scooter rental in the phone book and they were so accommodating and said " no mam we can deliver whenever you arrive" they literally arrived 10 mins after we checked in. And they even gave a discount and were much cheaper then them, that was so nice to have people who care about there business. If you are looking for good people to rent from this is where it's at! Great Service has a "Mom & Pop" feel but the scooters were great lasted all day and late into the night. The only good thing to says were the delivery drivers were pleasant. Based on that you can tell we met several. We went thru 3 scooters before we got to ones the worked sort of. The first one left for us had a completely flat tire. I am not sure how they even got it off the truck. We lost hours of our vacation because of their faulty equipment and they refused any compensation what so ever. Their phone staff was rude at best and they changed the turn in time after payment was final loosing us use for a full day. DO NOT USE. read more

Great company, great experience. I recommend this company highly. I called several months ago to make my reservation. The lady I spoke with asked me several questions to make sure I had the right scooter, not to try to upsell me. The scooter arrived promptly, and performed better than I had hoped. It was always loaded over 75% of capacity, ran all day long, and never went below about 60% charge. They make sure you have enough battery power for your size. The scooter enhanced our vacation and stayed in the background. I can't talk about their response in a breakdown, as I didn't have a single problem, but I'm sure it would have been handled well. I'm had a very positive experience with this company and would absolutely rent from them on my next trip to Orlando. The scooter was delivered to my hotel door and picked up when I left. I had originally planned to give it back on Friday evening at 5pm and they let me keep it the extra night until checkout Saturday at no charge. The battery lasted all day at the parks and it was more compact and easy to maneuver than the Disney rentals at the parks. read more

They have the most RUDE person answering their phones.. I ordered a sunshade for my entire rental time and didn't get it when they dropped it off so they said they'd bring it the next day which they didn't.. they claimed to have called but I have the call logs and no calls were made to us.. then I call the next day and the Man Brian on the phone, with an accent, got such an attitude telling me that they are useless and that I should just get a regular umbrella and hold it all day.. when I told him I couldn't do that he got snarky and interupped me and said said "Oh yes you can!" He then continued to tell me how they are such a pain in and people hate them and he doesn't recommend them to anyone because people complain.. I kept telling me how I wanted it and he just continues to be aggressive with how adamently sure he was that I wouldn't want it because they are so useless.. kept giving me the length and width and how it sits like 2 feet above your head and won't help you unless the sun is above you.. On the first day of our vacation my husband slipped and broke his foot. I called and spoke to Daniel the following morning at 6:30 am. He had the scooter delivered right to my door by 8 am. The young man who delivered was very friendly and demonstrated how to use and assemble the chair. This is the only company that was able to provide a portable chair for my husband, who is a larger man. The price was better than most other rental companies and the chair was in great shape. If you are using this company make sure you are staying exclusively in Orlando Disney area as they will not travel. Our scooter broke mid-way through the week when we were an hour away from Orlando. They offered to replace it if I came back to Orlando but would not travel to me or give me a refund for the days I was not able to use the scooter. read more
