BEWARE!!! I'd give this business zero stars if I could! I rented an ECV through them in April, for a September delivery. It's now only June, and I needed to cancel due to an unexpected change in vacation plans. I contacted them via email (I don't like using phone because then there's no documentation) to cancel the order. When I didn't hear back from them, I emailed a second time about four days later. When I didn't hear back AGAIN, I contacted them through their online chat service. That was ignored, too (and if they're unable to chat at the time, they'll answer in the chat box when they can AND send an email, neither of which were done). After that was ignored, I opened a dispute on PayPal to get the money I'd paid refunded. They've also ignored that. Ten days since I cancelled, and they've still not refunded me the money or even answered my emails, online chat, and PayPal dispute. UPDATE: I finally got my order canceled. It only took two weeks, four emails (two to the owner's email accounts) that they never answered, one online chat that they never answered, two voicemail messages, disputing it through PayPal (which they never answered), AND a threat to hire an attorney (that's when it finally got canceled). read more

I booked a last minute stroller rental through Amusement Park Rentals and had a great experience. Since it was such a last minute (night before) request, they didn't have the stroller I had planned for. However, I called and talked to them about why I had needed a specific stroller and they were able to accommodate a switch after 2 days as soon as the right model was available. I have to say that this was the best rental and customer service experience I've had in a very, very long time. My wife was a little on the fence on getting a stroller but a friend had recommended it and it made our stay and two days in the parks just phenomenal. Everything was clean, in great shape and became such a great headquarters and resting spot for our kids. Just absolutely brilliant. And I also can't thank you enough for making the prices clear and avoiding a lot of hidden fees and add-ons and also not getting into weird versions of what "three days" is for the rental. 72 hours. This was the first time renting a scooter from Amusement Park Rentals. The scooter was excellent and performed flawlessLu. It's the quietest scooter we've rented in Florida. Delivery time was estimated to be between 2-3:00pm. We got to the Hard Rock Hotel hotel at 12:20 and the scooter was already there. Great job. They say "Don't write a company review when you're angry..."so I didn't. They say "cool off; put your thoughts and experiences in order..." So I did... and guess what? I'M STILL PISSED OFF. Originally contacted amusement park rides of Orlando 407-442-0000 to inquire about a scooter rental for one evening at Universal Halloween Horror Nights on November 1st. The reason for using an outside company was because Universal that they did not rent scooters during that particular event. I talked to a seemingly knowledgeable man named Gene who explained that they would only deliver to a resort, and we had planned on staying at an Airbnb. This was the first change to accommodate this company. We're fortunate to get our house deposit back after explaining Amusement Park of America's rental policy. I was told by Gene to let them know when and where to deliver and yes, they WOULD be open Sunday until 10 p.m. Calling early on Sunday resulted in a long- azz wait on hold waiting for(push 1) for an expert or (push 2) for customer service...and being subjected to the fading out four bars of lousy music punctuated by periodic repeating announcements thanking me for my patience and telling me the call will be answered shortly bla bla bla... FINALLY I hear another message that all the experts are busy with customers bla bla bla and to, leave a message and they will return my call shortly bla bla bla.etc! Pushing 3 results in more voice mail and a deep voiced man named Josh telling me how IMPORTANT my call was and to leave a message and he, "Josh" will personally return my call. ..only to hear "This voice mail box is full".Click. Of COURSE there was no return call, not even to this day one week later, not even to appologize for not answering their phones during stated business hours; not even to appologize for leaving me high and dry and unable to enjoy my Halloween Horror Night experience. Finding and dealing with company personnel who 'care', I realize is no longer a given... but every now and then you do find one. They are out there and it restores my faith in man. Amusement Park Rides of Orlando is not of that ilk. I do not believe that I was singled out to experience poor customer service which makes me suspect that many the glowing 5 star reviews they have on their own web site (of course) as well as other sites may just be the bought and paid for variety. My sincere advice would be to use this company only if you can afford to have your holiday ruined as they did mine....I also feel quite fortunate that I did not advance funds to them ahead of time. On our latest trip to Orlando the unexpected happened and my husband broke his foot shortly after arrival. I contacted Amusement Park rental to try to get a last minute rental & they delivered! Not only did they deliver the scooter promptly but when I needed it for an extra day they where able to extend my rental no problem. This scooter was a lifesaver! He was able to drive it easily around the parks and it just saved the trip! I highly recommend Amusement Park Rentals! read more

After scouring Yelp for crib rental companies in Orlando, I finally came across Amusement Park Rentals. My son, who hates pack 'n' plays, loves his crib. We wanted a company with great reviews and great service. Friends, APR was all this and more. Their website is easy to navigate and their pricing is clear. They also offer insurance for an extra cost, in case of damage (probably better for stroller rentals). I didn't even have to get on the phone with anyone until I arrived in Orlando and it was to adjust the drop off time. Crib assembly was done in less than a minute and the crib was full-size, safe, and comfortable. It was also in great condition. I had to adjust the pick up time on the day we left, but even that was super simple. They drop off and pick up directly from your hotel (ours was Disney All Star Movies). It's worth noting that at 7 months pregnant, the crib break down was super simple - even for me! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. It was relief to find them (and their glowing reviews on Yelp and google) after looking for the better part of a day. read more

The scooter they sent was perfect. It was in great shape and it definitely helped my husband to keep up with us in the parks. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because since Amusement Park Rentals isn't on the Disney vendor list, it meant we had to be there when the scooter was delivered and then be there when they picked it up instead of just being able to pick it up and drop it off at the concierge desk. Definitely would use them again for crib rental. Very easy to reserve online, change pick up time via email & easily reached by phone. Josh our delivery guy was great, very friendly & prompt. He also helped us bring it upstairs & set it up. On pick up we just left it at the front door and they picked it up, super easy. Would be a plus if they had more stuff to rent like baby monitors or potty seat. read more

These guys rock! We were vacationing in Orlando with 6 kids under the age of ten. We rented a full sized crib, two double strollers and a rocking chair and they were all clean and top quality. We actually added the strollers on at the very last minute, and they dropped them off at our hotel within hours of the request. Doesn't get any better than that! They pick up and drop off at your hotel, plus do any assembly needed. We asked other stroller renters at the parks what they paid for their strollers and ours were cheaper per day, plus pick up and drop off -- a service not provided by other rental companies. For a ten day vacation, we paid roughly $10 a day per double stroller. Just FYI, i found them because our primary need was a rocking chair. Their website looked good and the other baby furniture rental companies looked kind of sketchy. I e-mailed them and asked if they had rocking chairs. They did not, but added one to their inventory just for me. If there's something you need and you don't see it on their site, its worth it to e-mail and ask them. These guys bent over backwards. read more

My friends were visiting Orlando and they were hesitant about bringing their own precious BOB stroller with them and risk having it damaged by the airline baggage carriers. It was a wonderful surprise to find out that this kind of rental existed and it saved them the hassle to carry yet one more thing on their flight over. About a week before our trip, our 7 week old decided that he didn't like sleeping in his crib (it's too big) and that he would only sleep in his Rock N' Play. I quickly realized that if we used a Pack N' Play we would be in for a sleepless vacation. Luckily, Amusement Park Rentals had the Rock N' Play for rent. It was delivered by a very polite deliveryman, on time, and was clean. On our last night, we were informed that we had to catch Disney's Magical Express at 7am to make it to the airport on time, this is right when Amusement Park Rentals opens according to the website. I called and without hesitation, they agreed to have someone at the resort at 6:45AM. I was super impressed with their customer service and will definitely be a repeat customer! read more
