I've rented this house 4 times now, and I will say it has really gone down since my last stay. -The carpet needs to come up, it's beyond cleaning. -The walls need a fresh coat of paint or either a good cleaning. -The pool needs to be cleaned. - The patio needs to be pressure washed, as well as the weeds pulled up. -We ran into roaches(German, the smaller roaches) during our stay as well. I picked up bug spray, but still....and yes I know this is Florida, but bear in mind, I live in coastal SC, so I know the difference between a nasty roach and a common cockroach(palmetto bug/waterbug). These roaches, found upstairs and down. - The living room set needs to be replaced. Overall, I think it's time for a good revamp on this property. There once was a time when our stay was super comfortable, but this time we were left feeling uneasy about our stay. The house is very stocked with cooking essentials, pool towels, and bath linens. The travel size bath sets were a nice touch! As well as the casiola tote and cookies!! While we did appreciate the opportunity to occupy this rental again, I know for certain for our trip in August, we won't consider this rental. We are still very pleased with Casiola, just not this particular rental. The communication was open, they were prompt with a service call, and accommodating with early check in. I hope the owner sees this review and decides to make necessary changes to make this rental more enjoyable for guests. read more

We had an amazing stay place was easy to find great if you have small children or even teenage children. There were a tremendous amount of things to do nearby or 30 minutes down the road. The only thing that we would complain about is the noisy neighbors that we had and we had issues with the gates, not working other than that five stars. There are also a lot of things kept at the house for if you have small children, such as highchair pack, and play stroller would recommend to bring your own baby gate. We bought one once we got there and realized that the Main bedroom was upstairs to keep our five year-old from going downstairs by herself. Also, the pool has a net gate all the way around that makes it impossible for kids to get in the pool by themselves, which is great. All in all we had an amazing time and would Rent again! read more

The overall stay was fine. House was as pictured. However, the gate security needs to be changed to ensure for a quicker entry. Cars were lined up down the street for hours trying to access their rental homes. Secondly, the cable did not work on any TV in the home. I called to advise & was told that someone would come by to address the issue. That never happened. Lastly, I left my phone in the property & called to tell the Casiola team the same day what happened. They assured me the phone would be mailed to me once located. I paid the handling fee of $15 as well as the cost of the shipping label & packaging. It's been 10 days & no shipping confirmation to date!! I've called several times, chatted on WhatsApp, emailed & everyone keeps saying they will escalate the issue. At this point, I am going to have to file a police report to get my phone back. Nice home however we reached out to the host to inform of plumbing issues with the 2nd guest bathroom shower and toilet. Major inconvenience with the toilet backing up every time someone used it we had to use the plunger in order for the waste to go down. Then every time we took a shower the water was not draining out until after we got out of the shower. Twice a person was sent out to fix the problem and it was not fixed they used the plunger just like we did because I watched them both times. Then the day before we left it happened again the toilet would not flush. The host asked for a video because on the side of the house it was a huge bed of water and toilet paper remnants scattered throughout so while one person was taking the video another person flushed the toilet in the bathroom and the drain bubbled up and all you could smell was poop it was disgusting. There were four women using one bathroom chaotic to say the least and all the host said was sorry for the inconvenience when they should have offered a credit off of what we paid and we were there for six days. Avoid Casiola at all costs! They should be reported to the FTC for questionable business practices. Had to cancel my vacation and did so within allocated time. I received an email stating my reservation was cancelled and a credit was issued for my deposit. Upon checking my account, there was no credit issued. I called and was told they cannot issue a credit due to a change in their system. At no time did they notify me that the credit could not be issued. After several emails and phone calls they told me I had to request a charge back from my credit card company. Avoid this company at all costs. Use vrbo or booking for safer transactions. We booked our stay through Expedia where they don't disclose host information although there is a place to do so. Shame on them. Had we known who the host was prior to booking, we wouldn't have booked the stay. We found a last-minute deal on a villa and booked it immediately! As soon as we arrived, we learned why it was a "deal" ... There was NO HEAT and this was in the middle of the cold front/winter storm that hit the south with temps in the 30's at night (January). Needless to say, it wasn't a pleasant experience at all. Bottom line (happy to share all emails and text messages), the property management team, Casiola, simply didn't care we had no heat! We had to push communications and in the end a tech told us there was nothing he could do, this was a known issue, an issue they were experiencing at several locations. He said they were having back-end programming issues with their security company; the thermostat was linked to their system and it was locked, preventing you from adjusting the temp (hot or cold). Casiola rented the villa knowing this information and they played ignorant while we were freezing in the extreme temps. We requested a refund and they offered us $75.00?? We took the issue up with Expedia where they issued a small refund as a courtesy. Friendly reminder, even for myself, if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is! Renting from Casiola comes with ZERO support if there are any issues and very little support from Expedia. With the reviews I've read online, I don't understand why travel sites continue to work with Casiola. We all work so hard to take these trips and Casiola turned our trip into an absolute nightmare and didn't care one bit to do it. Good job, Casiola!!! read more

Here for a Disney vacation. I was so proud to have found a place near the activities we wanted as a family for 7 nights. Check in was a hiccup... Tried my code they had sent me via email and it didn't work. Called consecutively for 15 mins to try the rental company (Casiola) as it was hot/not working and got an answering service to relay my message. Allegedly my check in was minutes/seconds too early and the lock had a special punch in instructions of really slowly entering the code. The layout of the house was fantastic also.... The A/C worked!!. The set-up looked awesome. The cleanliness however for the cost we paid... Kinda lacking in my opinion.. I know you can't be super picky...but again traveling with little ones and they pick up trash from under the beds/couches inquiring what is this... It kind of makes you think maybe some cleaning is just getting lightly done. If check in can't be til 405pm to get it fully clean just let a guy know. The set-up of the house was fantastic... The cleanliness not so fantastic. Fruit flies everywhere.... Night 1 was spent killing fruit flies... The washer had a squeaky sound as it went through cycles.... Sad deal. Air return vent had some heavy dust as well. Pool was nice. So the above mentioned stuff in combination with multiple nightly calls to the Polk County sheriff department for noise in the 2-3 doors surrounding areas was the dagger. We had parties/music blaring nightly from the neighbors into the 1 am hour. From 10pm - midnight Kids screaming during night swims had my kids (trying to sleep)wondering what is going on. Not a good thing every night when trying to get my kids to bed. If you have kids and have been there you definitely understand!!! It took my monies spent on this vacation home to teach me a VALUABLE lesson. The pamphlet we were given at check-in even STATES this is a quiet community and fines for having noise complaints on renters...yeah right. I don't believe that whatsoever. I called 3 times a night on average. (Sorry Polk County sheriff department) When spending $2k on a week rental you have expectations... These clearly were not met. I definitely will NOT be staying at this resort on our next visit. I know others in the area probably have similar setups and would greatly appreciate our business. The location was super close to food and shopping/activities I booked my reservation through Marriott ... I will definitely share the disappointment with them....as you would think someone would alert them of the situation at hand. Cleaning needed to be done under furniture and in the bathroom... things I would think would have been done before I checked in... Not so much. Matters when traveling with a young one. For sure next time we will stay elsewhere. Don't know that the money spent was worth it at this location. Should be a "0" or less. Things that didn't work (TV-internet connection in all but two rooms, broken HDMI cable, pool heater not working, dishwasher not draining, remotes without batteries, etc.) were finally serviced. However, never fixed. The toilet that was clogged when we arrived, was the only thing fixed. This involved several phone calls and emails. The kids were unable to use the pool we paid for. We could not stream sports apps, Netflix etc to the TV. The pool table cues don't have tips. PlayStation can not be used since it's locked to another account. I could go on. Most importantly Casiola could not fix any of these issues. We had 17 people who travel a long way for a disappointing family vacation. Time was lost chasing down incompetent help and waiting for them to respond and arrive. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere than a Casiola managed property. Avoid Champions Gate in general and specifically property 484 specifically. After two days of attempting resolution, I did get to speak with a "manager ". Sympathy was expressed again (they are very good at that). If there ever is a satisfactory resolution, I will gladly amend this review. read more

The home we stayed at was lovely but Casiola overall service is lacking. When you pay top dollar the service and expectations should go hand in hand. If I actually reviewed the mgt company (Casiola) first I may not have used or rented. The house we rented had no reviews but once again was a nice house. The issue is this company may be spread thin and it happens. When you call the phone message says be prepared for "Insanely good service"... well that didn't happen. Just on arrival that day left multiple vm's and emails because of multiple questions we had and issues. They didn't respond until next day.. think about arriving with a family of 8 and no response on things that needed addressing. (Next day "we didn't get any vm's... then how do I know the message and prompt. Also the emails. This will not deter us from renting a home or even possibly that home as long it was a different management company. When you're driving down the road and you see the big office building with their name on it, it may mean getting to big and out of touch. We do appreciate they are a start up family company but they should have never let us leave the island knowing how bad they dropped the ball. read more

I have never dealt with such a poorly run company. We arrived at our rental in Orlando to find the house had not been cleaned. Floors were sticky, toilet had pee down it. Mold/mildew in the shower so bad it clearly had not been cleaned in a long time. So much dust, it was everywhere - ceiling fans, vents, baseboards, walls AND our headboard to the bed. Food crumbs all over the floors and steps. It was disgusting. I emailed, sent pictures and called several times only to hear apologies and promises that were never fulfilled. They sent a maintenance man over immediately (I don't know why) nothing was broken. I don't what he "fixed" either. The vacuum cleaner in the home was broken so there was no way for me to clean the carpet. It. Was. Disgusting. Stay away. Do not rent anything from casiola, ever. Only stay at a site managed by this group if you want a home that is not as advertised, poorly maintained, and offers frustrating customer service at best. They completely ruined our recent trip when the gates to access the home didn't work, the private pool wouldn't heat and was filthy, no one picked up trash from the porch the entire time, the house lacked the basics listed of what was included, and the cable only worked intermittently. We called customer service several times only to be told someone would help us shortly -- two days after calling and someone came out but didn't resolve anything. I rarely do reviews on anything but I felt compelled in this instance to provide an HONEST review of this property and the Host (Management). I beg that anyone looking to rent this property read the review in its entirety. I had been planning a trip for my family for months and wanted my children to have a relaxing vacation this summer. After conducting searches on several platforms, I settled upon this listing which had all 5 star reviews. Since Covid, cleanliness has been a top priority for me, so when I saw the photos and the reviews which all said it was clean and in a good area I decided to move ahead with the booking. I booked through VRBO before and was pleased with the process and felt confident that all the reviews would be highly accurate. The Unit I received was located at 3131 Paradox Circle, Unit 203, Kissimmee, FL. When we got inside the Unit I immediately undertook an inspection and was dismayed 1) the floors were filthy, you could tell that the cleaning crew did not sweep before they mopped so the floor felt murky 2) dead bugs and dirty in the rail for the sliding door 3) soiled and torn sofa 4) dirty surfaces 5) filthy rugs 6) old food under the dishwasher 7) dirt on the walls next to the garbage bin and the icing on the cake 7) filthy and soiled towels and bloodied and soiled sheets in the room with the bunk beds!!! I was horrified at this discovery as my children actually discovered it when they went to lie in the beds!!! I immediately called the Company at 4:40 pm to report the dirt in the Unit and advised that I was leaving. It took three (3) days for Casiola to resolve my claim, when they finally did I was given a partial refund and money withheld for two-night stay (which never happened because I left immediately and they knew it) and a departure cleaning fee which was the most ironic of all!!!! Imagine charging me a cleaning fee when you did not even clean the Unit for me!! When I queried it I was told by the same manner who acknowledged that the Unit was not only dirty but there were significant signs of wear and tear (clearly they did an inspection) that my money was being withheld because they could have rectified the issues by sending out a cleaning crew!!! That statement in itself was laughable because believe me when I say that dirt could NOT be cleaned and I am still trying to ascertain how they could rectify wear and tear during my stay? Would they have replaced the furniture whilst I was occupying the Unit? Avoid this booking at ALL COST!!!! Had VRBO given information on the Host when I was browsing the booking (for this Host all it says is Premier Host) a simply search engine search would have told me ALL I needed to know and I would have ran faster than lighting away from this booking. This Company has all 1 star reviews on other review websites, the chief complaints 1) filthy properties and 2) bad customer service!!! I was also disappointed in the way my matter was handling through VRBO they did absolutely nothing to help me and now they too are withholding money when I called them also on the day of check-in and told them of my issues and sent photographic evidence. I have been given NO support by them, and this is the last time I would be using their service. PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!!! Look up the host and their reviews, make a mental note and run as fast as you can from ANY property they manage!! They're filthy and the Host unresponsive. It is my hope that NO ONE goes through what I went through. Those 5 star reviews must be from company employees!!! Want to know the real deal about this Company read the Google reviews and those on the BBB website they have an average 1/5 star rating, many claims against them and don't even have an accreditation rating. Zero Stars. Would not recommend. Rented property via airbnb thank god. Listingin went inactive in December. I reached out to him to make sure that everything was fine. He assured me it was and that the property would be relisted soon but that my reservation was confirmed. 2 months before my trip he says he no longer manages my property-which seems to be a common complaint in there reviews- and he offers me a different property he manages. When i ask him to send me a link to this property through airbnb he says it isn't listed on airbnb. I told him to cancel my reservation, as this is a very common scam where you pay and then you show up and it's a terrible property somewhere else. He lies and tells me he can't cancel my reservation and that I have to do it. If I cancel the reservation I will not be refunded the service fees I paid. If he cancels, he eats the fees, which I sure he knows. I called AirBnB and explained the situation and they agreed that he had cancelled the reservation and hopefully AirBnB shut him down because the place was rented out still after my rental and I am guessing he was just waiting until he thought it would be too inconvenient to find someplace else before offering to switch me out with a different property. I would not recommend renting any property with Casiola Vacation Homes. They are very unprofessional and they did nothing to help make our vacation better based on what was promised in the house posting. We reported issues over and over again. They only provided programmed responses that did nothing to resolve or fix the problems. We were charged for pool heat that never working for the two weeks we had rented the house. We found the entire house needed allot of repair and prior to us arriving had contacted Casiola based on other customer feedback of issues. They promised everything had been fix but clearly that was just lip service. They do not care about the customers, only about making more for the profit line. We had many issues: Pool Heat - Not working the entire stay - Reported repeatedly. Dishwasher broken - Not working Ice Maker did not work Blinds over larger slider doors broken Floor Outlet cover missing - caused a trip hazard Carpet Badly stained throughout the entire stay Front legs on the stove are bent and the range is uneven Bottoms stove drawer harder to open Both dryers not working well, would shut off. Shower floors are very slippery (inside the showers) Several of the up-stair beds have broken bed slats. Grill propane tank line is not working correctly. You could smell propane when tank was turned on. Light in the pool was not working and cause the pool to be dark. We were not in the pool due to the cold water, so the light did not matter These told us that since we did not report any of these issue within 24 hours they are not reasonable for any of the items we found. It would have taken several day to obtain all of the photos and document all of the damages and poor conditions to the house. Clearly Casiola does not care about the house conditions. They told us that have staff trained to inspect houses for these types of damages. These employees need to be retained. We were charged $700 additional cost for damages that we did not do. They were there when we arrived. We were expected to report all damages within 24 hours to not be charged for them after our staff. Casiola is a joke company and the CEO need to know what is going on. There is clearly a breakdown of services and commitment. read more

I wish we could leave a review without a star rating. This has been one of the WORST experiences I have ever had on a vacation. They were hyper responsive before we left for the trip- I thought we would be in good hands. The second we arrived- they stopped responding and the quality went straight down. The home we rented is dirty, there are LIVE cockroaches in the dishwasher. In addition to the many ants we have seen in the house. The carpets look as if they haven't been cleaned in DAYS. The area rug is filthy. The tile floors are sticky. We requested the pool be heated. And someone showed up without notice, problem still not corrected there. The pool looked like it had some sort of film on the top of it. The noise and neighbors are absolutely outrageous. The security team is useless. They do not care to help correct the noise at all. So if you have small children- do not bring them here. You will not get any sleep. The guard that we checked in with handed us a packet and told us to go across the street to the house. No further instructions. So we weren't sure how to re-enter the resort property. But the answer is you ring the guard shack each time while holding up a piece of paper to a camera so they can verify you being a guest. There should be a more effective method to this. I would avoid this property at all costs. Do not rent from Casiola. We are only in our second day of staying here. They do not work on the weekends- so we shall see how they plan to handle this. Don't do it. After you book, and after they have your money, they will tell you that they need a photo ID, front and back, and a picture of your credit card. When I reached out about my hesitancy to send a picture of my credit card, they said it would be fine to cover all but the last 4 numbers. I did so, and they never said there was a problem, and now, days before our family vacation, they randomly canceled my reservation, stating that I had not sent the required information, even though I did. My family booked our trip to Universal 2 months ago and we live in FL, only 2 hours away which I stated to the customer service manager. There is a massive storm that has produced tornadoes heading this way on the date we were going to the park. We decided to change the date due to the storm which the park was happy to oblige but Casiola would not budge. It's not like we asked for a refund/money back, but only a postponement to an open date later in the month. The customer service was absolutely horrible as they refused to even listen to reason. I would never book with Casiola again and I will never recommend them to anyone I care about as all they are about is money and not the safety of their guests. read more

I stayed at one of their properties in Orlando for Christmas. After being there for maybe only 30 mins, we see a roach crawling on the floor. The bathroom on the main floor smells like a sewer. We have seen several other roaches during our stay here (and we went OVER AND BEYOND to ensure we didn't leave ANYTHING food related out). Trash was supposed to be picked up daily, but it wasn't. some critter(s) were ripping the bags open each day. Hot water heater isn't enough to accommodate the number of people allowed in the home. Just a HOT MESS!! I paid WAY too much money for such poor accommodations. I will NEVER stay in one of their properties again not will I ever recommend them. read more

We stayed in 8004 sandy toes way in margarita ville.....the villa was good. Just had issues with management company as my family and I got there with our 3 kids the pool was really dirty and I called them to see if someone had cleaned and I tried to retrieve some stuff but the pool net was broken and couldn't do it. They wanted me to send pictures and I figured out quickly that they weren't coming anytime soon. After our vacation was done I got an email that night almost 12 hours after. That there were stains on a mattress and on the inside of a couch. Clearly no one checks the mattress under all the covers to see if mattress had a small stain on corner so I knew all this was a scam to charge an extra 385 dollars for cleaning. Oh that's after the 150 cleaning fee they charged and a resort fee that our kids couldn't use the pool because we weren't allowed . Been in a rental house for a whole week in Florida. When we got here we realized the pool heater wasn't working. They sent someone out to check and there was something broken. Lots of waiting and following up with no response from Casiola. Now we are at 8 days of waiting. They told us yesterday that the pool repair people were on the way with the machine to repair. No one showed up. And now I can't reach Casiola - only the answering service. No response from them on FB messenger since yesterday afternoon. Needless to say we are extremely disappointed with the stay. Still waiting to see what happens. We have a few more days to swim if it ever gets fixed. Thumbs down from us. read more

Upon arrival the house 'looks' aesthetically nice however our rental was switched 3 times between initially booking on 2/25/2021 and what we ended up with was not comparable for size and quantity of beds as well as missing amenities.  For our party of 12, only 2 were elementary aged kids which meant we had adult sized teenagers sharing full size beds instead of bunk beds and twin beds for each teen.  Only 2 rooms with king beds for 3 couples instead of the 3 king rooms on our original rental.  Also we did not have the 'rec room' in the garage with ping pong and other activities again on our original rental.  All of the emails we received this was not detailed for us to know ahead of arriving so this was all very disappointing.  We did read the 'what's included' before you come information however nowhere does it state that you do not provide hand soap in each bathroom also to only include 2 kitchen trash bags and 2 dishwasher pods for 12 of us staying for a week is unheard of.  The kitchen faucet leaked every time you use it unless you wiggled the handle to make it stop, an easy fix with a new cartridge.  The bathrooms only had 1 towel bar which makes it difficult to dry 2 bath towels after showering and absolutely no space to dry swim towels and suits inside, with the humidity nothing dries outside.  Also to not have towel rings in the bathrooms for hand towels means wet towels sit on the countertops instead of drying.  We paid for heating the pool, however the hot tub was the same temperature as the pool and the pool lights did not work.  The gas grill was a nice amenity for dinner options but to not include the propane tank again was extremely disappointing.  There were no extra pillows or blankets as well as bath towels so if you were cold or needed to use the extra rollaway bed in the front closet you had no bedding to sleep on.  If we had any dirty bedding there was no way for us to remake a bed with clean linens unless we washed the dirty bedding.  Again only provided with enough laundry soap for 1 load also makes this difficult if already used. We have stayed at many houses and rentals and never had such a poor experience with amenities especially for this price.  We did call when we arrived to address some of these issues with no solution except this is how it is.  This is definitely not a family friendly experience and we will not be renting from any of your properties again as well as not recommending them to any of our friends or family. read more

My husband booked a family vacation to not only celebrate my birthday but in honor of a successful surgery recovery that I recently overcame! When presented with the idea to rent a vacation home..."I couldn't wait & was excited to getaway with my closest family members"....& for the price paid, the online pics seen of the property located at: 1995 Majorca Dr..I couldn't wait!! Our stay dates were from July 9-12th. We called Cust. Service 24hrs in advance to pay the additional fee for an early check in of 10am ($50.00 2pm & $75.00 10am), however we were told the MORNING before (7/8) that it " was in progress" of being cleaned & once finished the "Property Mgr" had to inspect it before giving the ok for guests to enter & check in. We informed the CSR that we had about a 7hr drive & was told that "our rental should be ready" by the next morning of 10am or definitely by 2pm....but couldn't " guarantee it; call at 9am the morning of check in to confirm!" We packed up and left the morning of check-in at 5am & arrived a little after 10ish....this is where the WHOLE experience took a NOSE DIVE! After being given the run around ALL day the morning of our check-in date...long story short we were told around 1pm-ish that we were just waiting for the "PM" to inspect it & to call back. After not hearing fro them by 3:20pm we decided to go back to our rental & just park outside it until check-in at 4pm. We pulled up to discover a cleaning crew SUV outside with a gentleman & woman cleaning inside....with NO "PM" in site! At 3:55pm they came out of the rental & told our family we were free to now go inside our rental which upset us because it appeared as if the whole time CSR was telling us it was clean but awaiting inspection was a lie! To now have shown up & witness the ACTUAL time the cleaners showed up..rushed cleaned it....have no inspection..be given a green light to check in....was contradictory!! After doing a walk through & Lysoling the entire home; the home was cleaned to bare minimum! Hair left in multiple bathrooms, dried up shower gel or shampoo in showers, dried up jelly all on top of the living room coffee table & other places, carpet stains in every room, smelled like " septic" order coming from the piping in the downstairs bathroom, wet mop-bucket & broom in the pantry closet in the kitchen which smelled old & mildew, to day 2 discovering under the kitchen sink is flooding from the pipes when the sinks used and leaking to the floor when breakfast was being prepared ( maintenance did come out & replaced a pipe after a 3hr wait), to that evening while preparing dinner discovering the sink is now constantly backing up on both sides/not draining & the garbage disposal doesn't even function smh! Placed ANOTHER maintenance call...AND after several calls for an ETA...CSR put in an Emergency ticket but to no avail because NO one ever showed the rest of our trip which resulted in us having to consistently PLUNG the sinks with the toilet plunger and keep "cupping & dumping" the sink our entire trip! UNEXCEPTABLE especially for the price they charge & we paid without hesitation! 90% of the property personnel speaks spanish with the exception of Cust. Service who takes the calls (which brings a whole set of other issues with the language barrier!) Overall, what made this trip pleasurable was being around distant family; however, this was one of the worst experiences and vacation companies to book with!! The Customer Service experience is a joke & it's apparent they will " sell you" on how wonderful they are...the homes are....but it's NOT the case! Please do your research & shop around for a company who appreciates their guests!! Let me start by saying the property they managed was in B+ shape. Fairly clean except for piles of garbage waiting at the corner of the garage on arrival. The pool is nice except for the weeds growing out of the pavers and many of the lights being burnt out. 2 of the King beds had missing flat sheets (fitted sheet and comforter only). The upstairs family room TV never worked and in the bathrooms the toilet paper holders and towel holders were falling off the walls. Over all - a pretty big mess. Here's the worst part: all these items left us with a bad taste in out mouths, but not enough to make a fuss. We were simply going to leave a 2, MAYBE 3 star review and choose not to use Casiola's services again. On our way home I received an email that multiple sheets, towels and pillows were missing and that we were going to be charged $92 for these items. --- We took nothing from the home and even ran our dirty towels in the wash to assist the cleaning team. When I reached out to "Customer Service" to resolve this issue they refused to provide me with any further details or proof of the missing items. I asked for documentation showing our inspection and the one before us and they hung up on me. I've now read multiple reviews on other sites with similar issues. VERY SHADY. Buyer beware!! If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. We rented a home in the Orlando area through Casiola for the week of April 5th. Less than 10 days before our trip, through a automated email, I noticed that the address of the home was different than the address on my original confirmation. After looking a little further, I realized that the new address had fewer beds than the first, was in a different CITY, and did not have the same amenities. After 5+ hours of trying to get a hold of someone at Casiola, I was finally able to get a response from Facebook Messenger with a note that said "Unfortunately, the home that you have booked will no longer be Casiola which is why you were moved to another home". I find it unacceptable that Casiola did not even bother to inform my family of the switch. We would have arrived to the wrong home and then would have found ourselves without enough beds to sleep in. Casiola was unable to provide us with a home that matched the amenities of the original home and did not offer any sort of discount or compensation for our troubles. This company has an "F" rating on BBB. I would recommend reserving your home through anyone other than Casiola. read more

We visited in August 2017 and stayed in the Altavista Deluxe Unit. The condo decor was very nice and it was a spacious unit for 5 people. Three bedrooms with two bathrooms. The cosmetics were appealing and suited our taste. There was thought put into the decor. The kitchen cabinets and appliances could be upgraded but nothing displeasing. It just did not match the decor. The welcome booklet was informative. Contacting their help desk and speaking to a live human was iffy. Prior to visiting and during the visit, they rarely answered their phone, but would respond instead to emails. For the most part they communicated only via email which I thought was a bit irritating. Our first day there was an issue with check in. We had to wait 15 minutes before we could enter the apartment. We were already tired and being told we could not enter until cleaning was complete was not what we wanted to hear. The cleaning lady was rude and nasty with her responses. Rosalinda, a manager, made up for it with bottles of water and juice for us. Soon after, we discovered the bathroom toilet was stopped up. Maintenance was over speedily and had to return to do a snake. Family complained the bathroom smelled like poop afterwards. This is not something you look forward to on your first day. There was only a functional hotel latch on the entry door. The door lock did not work. The screen in the Master Bedroom was torn and the window casing was cracked. Clearly, maintenance was an issue all around. With the price we spent on this condo, I expected much better. The Master Bedroom vent for A/C was not very cold air. It was easy to get in, no hassle with check-in, easy place to park our one giant van and we just entered the home without trouble. The whole place was nice and roomy, had plenty of space and was clean overall. Cleanliness is a huge factor for me and they definitely kept it clean. What I especially loved is that they provided you with little amenities, like travel sized soaps and shampoos. I really liked that they went that extra mile to make it feel a little bit like a hotel. They had towels and extra blankets and even a hair dryer. I would love to come here again and use this place. I loved it! read more

By far the worst experience I have ever encountered and the customer service was appalling to say the least. With no dramatization, I would have to say this stay and lack of customer service ruined our vacation! Do yourself a favor and learn from our misfortune...book your stay elsewhere that customer service still exists!!!! This was one of the best vacation resorts my family and i have ever stayed at. These condos have so much space and the decor was modern and meshed so well. When speaking to the staff, they were always professional and informative. This unit had a laundry room which allowed us to wash clothes before we left and not travel with dirty clothes. They had silverware for the children (plastic) which was perfect. The kitchen was equipped with good cookware and non stick pots. I absolutely loved it. The beds were comfortable and clean. There were a few things that can be improved. I didn't like having to enter the property from the pool side as I was traveling with children. There should be a key pad out front as well. There was not enough parking. If another family came they would have difficulty getting in. Other than that I would rate my stay 5 stars easy. read more
