    The King Bed room
    La'Shant'e G.

This spot does not serve breakfast. But after a having a room reservation canceled with another Hotel without notice, this place godsend!!! I am so happy this room looked exactly pictures online, and it was very affordable. I needed a one bed/one bath for my mom to stay for a weekend getaway in Florida. Needless to say, the young man was very knowledgeable and courteous with understanding my needs: he was helpful. Even though this place was affordable, there is a $100 refundable deposit to book the room; according to the young Man at the counter, the deposit is refundable around 3-4 business days after your stay. Be a I am writing this review pre-stay, I will let you know if I get my deposit after this stay. The location does have tons of restaurants and grocery shopping ( I.e S.A.Ms Club).

No hot water. Shower has no water running either.

If I could give no stars I would! I took a video but it doesn't give me the option to post. No running hot water all day. When we got the room for an extra night nothing was said at that time. That was about 10:30am. After getting some paperwork done, about 12/12:30ish I went to take a shower and there was no running hot water. That's when I realized and called. I was told it would be on by 8. At 8:15pm... Still no hot water and now not even enough water pressure to take a shower. I called and was told by 10. At 10:16pm.... Still nothing. I called and am told to take a cold shower then was hung up on. I go to the office and the guy in the office says he tried to call the night before but we didn't answer. Lies. I wouldn't have gotten another night knowing there wouldn't have been hot water or even enough water pressure to take a shower. Hello! He didn't say anything till I called about 12:30pm. After I already paid for the extra night. That's when he said he tried to call... bull. But whatever. He said it would be on by 8pm. I was ok with it because I get it... things happen. But all day?!?!!? 10 something and still nothing. Tell me if I'm wrong...I went out without taking a shower thinking I'd come back and get one. Just to come back and still be patient, instead of complaining I changed and chilled. I didn't expect a free night... but I mean... I felt like at least do something to compensate for the inconvenience. While I was in the office a guest arrived he told me to leave the office. I said ok... But make sure the next guest knows about the water and you should at least give them a discount considering there was no hot water or enough water pressure to take a shower... that's when he told me to shut the f*%¥ up and called the police. There were cameras in the office. I kept my composure. I was surprised that he lied... knowing that he didn't say anything to me about the water... I do have video. Consumer beware!!!! Anyone who takes your money... or you do business with and can lie about a situation in your face... even lie to the police.. knowing the truth... instead of making the situation right continue to lie... I wouldn't do business here again. Ever. Bad business. I 100% understand things happen... but to lie. And continue instead of just saying 'sorry... we messed up' no thank you. I was waiting to rate this place till we left. Perfect example as to why it's good to wait till business is completely done. The customer service sucks! Like for real.

This is the WARNING again attached to the building.

The hotel is NOT close to Disney...it's 12 miles out of the way which in traffic is at least a 30 min drive from the parks. The hotel offers no shuttle service to the park which other motels at this price point do such as Golden Link Motel. There is NO security on site other than a few very small young women and the owner is not really very people friendly. Secondly, the type of ppl that this motel allows here can be dangerous to your safety--I am a Florida native and I am pretty familiar with Orlando so the area the motel is located in is NOT scary but the crowd is: for some magical reason my car kept unlocking itself and the trunk kept popping all on it's own. I left the property for 30 to 40 min and low and behold no magical unlocking or trunk popping at all and I do not have this issue at home or pretty much ever. I pulled up to the hotel and all of a sudden it starts happening again. There were several women who had pretty much setup shop 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs and they were watching us and on their phones back and forth all afternoon. I did let management know so please be advised that if you get robbed here or worse then it will not be the first time they'll have heard of it. They have signs everywhere that say they aren't going to be responsible if you or your stuff goes missing. I asked for a cash refund because I paid through booking.com and couldn't come up with the extra funds to just take a lost here and pay somewhere else too. The manager said no and then tried to have booking.com call and tell me what they already told me which was an oh well we can refund you tomorrow. I made a big fuss and pointed out the pol that were messing with my car and seems like they've gotten a bit nervous and stopped but the damage is done. I kind of felt unappreciated as a guest at this hotel and also felt like all the inconvenience was on me. Long story short, the ONLY reason I considered this place is because it was supposedly "sparkling clean" and "had friendly customer service" and was supposedly close to Disney. It's really not. The night isnt even over. I'm still here regretting putting me and my loved ones in this spot. I will never be back and I strongly recommend that you keep your safety at the forefront of your mind here...ANYONE outside just starring you down or sitting outside watching you typically DOESN'T happen at oh Idk westgate...I should have paid the extra 19.00 bux but ya know the place had good reviews so I thought I'd try em out but no, never again and I have truly learned today that the extra 19.00 bux more I usually pay includes things like security and secured property. Please be safe and I am really just writing so that the public is aware bc someone could unnecessarily get hurt.

Nice place to stay on a budget. Website and other reviews said $50 or $60 and we were charged $70 a night. When checking in, they overcharged us, which we had to get back. There were ants by a/c unit and they just happened to be cleaning all the a/c units which led to water dripping right in front of our door. Sheets were clean and towels as well. Floors weren't all that clean, but like I said, for the price, it was a pretty good stay. They have cameras on parking lot. It is a non smoking facility which was nice. If room keeping would focus a little more on floors, then it would have got 3 or 4 stars. Close to many restaurants and gift shops and close to Disney as well. Walgreens and CVS close. Dollar stores near by. Outlet mall, Old Town which has ferris wheel and sling shot rides and others right almost right across the street. Location is a plus.

Okay, keep in mind it is only $17. You know what kind of hotel you get for $17, well, this kind. If you compare it to other hotels costing $17, this place is pretty nice. That is why I gave it 3 stars: DON'T COMPARE IT TO A $60 HOTEL. My rating is based on the sketchy "sub $20" hotel room catagory. For $17, nobody in their right mind would expect anything more than this. Actually, the room was fairly clean and it included regular room fixin's such as a tv with cable, towels, ac, and soap. The other discount hotels averaged around $35-$40 per night and this place is half. I can't believe a place can stay in business but if you on a budget, this place is okay. Keep in mind we went during the slow season. I don't know if their rates go up during busier seasons...I would assume they do. I wouldn't pay much more than $20 something...

The outside looks a little run down (broken and flapping sign, lack of attention to landscaping). The problems we experienced with our unit included: 1. Broken bathtub faucet. 2. Broken air conditioner. 3. Non-working outlets, making it impossible to use a computer in some locations in the unit. 4. No internet when we most needed it (it was down for a day). 5. Roaches (in two different units) You really don't want to be in Florida without air conditioning. When the AC broke, the maintenance man came up right away and diagnosed the problem. He said he could fix it but it had to be off overnight before he could do that. They moved us to a different unit for the night -- they would not consider moving us permanently, so we slept in the other unit and kept our stuff in the original unit and moved back the next day. It was very inconvenient. We saw a very large roach in the first unit just before the AC broke. For that reason I was glad to be going to a different unit. However, we saw another roach (a juvenile) in the second unit as soon as we got there. And they were bold roaches! Clearly, there had to be a serious infestation for us to be seeing them that quickly. Once we got our AC working, the internet went down for a day. At this point, we really didn't want to stay much longer. The bathtub faucet was fixed quickly, but we ended up not using it because of the time it took. The non-working outlets were never addressed. I wouldn't recommend this place.

There are free shuttles to the parks and you also get early entry because they're affiliated with Disney. You can also get a room with a view of the fireworks from Epcot and even Magic Kingdom. Our room was really nice and clean. The beds were comfy, and the pillows weren't bad. This hotel is perfect if you're going to Disney and don't want to stay at one of the resorts but want some resort perks. The perks I found convenient was the shuttle and being able to go to the parks before it officially opens. For the shuttle they give you a schedule for the parks so you know when you need to get there. And they have complimentary breakfast and have daily kickbacks from 5:30-7:30pm where you get 3 alcoholic beverages, or just unlimited sodas/juice, and random food items you can make a complete dinner out of. Housekeeping was always really nice, they came to our rooms daily and refreshed our towels and such. The pool was nice and clean as well. The employees there were very nice and helpful to direct us as it was our first time there. We did order pizzahut while there and food from the kitchen and bar. Both were pretty decent just the kitchen and bar food was expensive as expected. I will say although I did love the shuttles, I did not use it my second night. I think it's great for getting there and if you're doing half a day coming back in the afternoon is fine. But if you're coming home during closing it could be very hectic. At Disney there's a spot where you wait for your shuttle we and one other family were one of the first ones there and almost didn't get on the shuttle because they let all the ones who came after before us. And the other family was in a wheel chair so I felt they should've gotten on first. I did love that there was no resort fee however there was a parking fee. If you are military I would recommend asking if there's a discount as if you book online there is one. We didn't know that so they gave us a discount with parking. Our rooms were spacious for a family of 5 with two queens and a couch. We requested a playpen and it was brought to our room after check in. It had a sheet and came with a tiny blanket. The bathroom was decent. There were some spots where I felt it showed its age not a cleaning issue. All and all I would probably stay here again. It saved some money for our family as meals and with the shuttle parking for one of the days.

We were in Florida just after Hurricane Emma. We are senior citizens and we were staying at one of the pricey resorts and scheduled to check out Sunday morning at 10 am. As it turned out turned out I had to take my wife to the hospital at 2:00 am that same morning. She had to have emergency surgery and was going to be hospitalized for a week or more. Before her surgery and because I had to check out by 10 am and that was when the surgery was scheduled, I went to the resort and explained the situation. I was told that if I wanted to stay there I would have to pay triple what I originally paid. I said thank you very much and checked out. I found the Budget Inn East less than a mile from the hospital. When I went in, I was informed that they had offered the inn to FEMA. When I explained my predicament the manager said he would be very happy to help me. He gave me an excellent weekly rate and I moved in so to speak. After my wife was released from the hospital she was told she could not travel for another week or so. So I brought her back to the Budget Inn. The manager and his staff were very accommodating and went above and beyond in seeing that my wife was comfortable during our stay. I pray that none of you have to stay for the reasons I did, but I highly recommend this motel. And it is conveniently located.

We had perfect space where we didn't have to be on top of each other. We had a downstairs open living room, dining area, small kitchen, and a bathroom with shower downstairs. The couch even has a bed in it if one needs it. Upstairs is two bedrooms and an adjoining bathroom with bath tub. One bedroom had two double beds and one bedroom has a king sized bed. The beds were very comfy, the sheets and comforter were cozy. Only thing was the pillows were very small. We had a view of the creek which was nice and nature-y! The pool was nice along with two small hot tubs which were not hot. They have a park and big grassy area for our dog to play. We were not able to walk the boardwalk and gazebo which looked really nice. At the end, customer service was weird because the person I called to extend my check out an hour didn't know we existed. He said it was because Booking.com and their system did not communicate. Also, I asked for two towels and they brought us two rolls of toilet paper. I was like What?! At least our receipt matched our quote from Booking.com. All in all, we loved our clean roomy villa and would recommend staying here.
