Hyatt Regency Orlando - first time at this hotel, and it was a good stay. Hyatt doubled as the lodging space, and the conference venue. During my stay there were numerous conferences being held, including the Ulta Beauty World Expo. It was active!! People were everywhere. On top of that, there was a cheer competition going on too. This lets you know how large this space is! The hotel itself is huge offering two sides - Tower 1 and Tower 2. There's also a number of dining options including B-Line Diner, the Market, Coconuts Poolside Bar & Grill, Dining to Go (room service/pool side dining), Rocks Bar, Descend 21, Fiorenzo, and Icharo. I dined at B-Line, Fiorenzo, and grabbed coffee/snacks at the Market. I'll write up separate reviews for those places. As mentioned earlier, this hotel is huge. I had a double room. And the rooms are spacious. They are not as modern and up to date as you'd think, however they were not antique haha. The housekeeping staff were helpful and provided things as requested. Very pleasant. I also appreciated my check in experience, as the staff members were helpful after a brief mixup with cards from my employer. She was very patient and I'm sad I can't recall her name. Overall, this was a really nice stay and I was there for about 5 days! It was nice to have my colleagues attending the same conference to have company and people to hangout with. Huge hotel with two separate towers across from the Convention Center. I wouldn't stay here if you're going to Disney since you'll end up paying around $30 each way for Uber. They do have a free shuttle to Universal though. The pool looks bigger in pictures than in person and was packed with kids every night until 10pm. There's also a water slide. Jasmine grows on the bushes outside, which is a nice touch. Room was big and spacious with a king bed and five pillow options. The TV even has Peloton strength workouts that don't require equipment or an account. Front desk staff was plentiful so there were no lines. On the downside, the hallway on my floor was painted white and it felt very institutional. The elevator not requiring a key felt a bit unsecured since anyone could press any floor. Also no hook for a hand towel in the large bathroom, which was annoying. Italian restaurant starts around $30 per plate and at the upper bar cocktails are about $20. read more

This place is massive! Inside the hotel, they sometimes host conferences so we can get very crowded in the lobby area and first floor. They have their own diner as well as a marketplace a pool bar and an inside bar. Parking is a steep $45 per day, which can add up. My favorite part about this hotel is the location where you can walk one to two blocks away and there are multiple restaurants and good quality, food and establishments for you to explore. If you go a little further down international Drive there are tons of fun things to do and entertainment so this location is superb for a trip to Orlando. read more

I stayed here for a work conference. The hotel was huge with multiple conference room sections (Orlando, Florida, Plaza, Regency). You will be walking a lot especially if you stay at Tower 2 since the conference rooms were closer to Tower 1. I booked a King Pool View Room and I have to admit the view was great. The room was very spacious and clean. I appreciated the two bottles of complimentary water every day. The hotel staff were very nice and the conference food was decent. My stay at the Hyatt Regency Orlando was pleasant. My room was clean with essential toiletries. The key litmus test for any hotel room is the bed and shower. My mattress preference is pillow top cover and firm bottom. Also, rain showers are best and provide a hydro massage while showering allowing you to feel more relaxed after a shower. My room checked all the boxes. The Hyatt also has several in-hotel restaurants (very good food), swimming pool and two elevator bays with six elevators each. Also, the hotel is located new a string of restaurants if you choose to eat outside the hotel and bars Does anyone know why they open your hotel curtains every day? Housekeeping opens the curtains every day and then I close in the evening. It is a clever hotel room dance that happens every day to the point you might say, does anyone else want my dance card. We booked because we were attending a conference connected to the hotel. We were excited to see they had self check in available via their site (because we were tired and loathe waiting in line to check in), received a "your room is ready, we will text you a confirmation" and of course did NOT receive a confirmation text. When we arrived to the check in desk, the girl stated the room we booked was unavailable, she wasn't remorseful at all, just wanted us to deal with it and move on. (Strange) We booked a king room MONTHS in advance and up to 4 hours before, showed the same room in our reservation. We were given a room two queens, not upgraded nor a genuine apology. Room seemed clean, but found cobwebs by the sliding door, feels older and dark, outdated. I personally love take a bath when on vaca, but the tub didn't look appealing/relaxing to take a bath, if that makes sense. Toilet couldn't be flushed twice in a row- you have to wait about a minute+ to try again. The mini fridge kept drinks very cold which was nice. Staff hired for the conference, servers and set up crew were really nice/attentive. Anyway- wouldn't recommend nor stay here again. read more

I loved my stay at the Hyatt Regency Orlando! This is a convention center as well, so it is a massive property. As World of Hyatt members, we were lucky to receive early check in at 11 AM. We received a room on the 9th floor. It didn't have much of a view, but it was bright, clean, and spacious. It also had a very comfortable bed and mattress - you could tell that they've invested in high quality bedding and furniture. The resort has a massive pool area, hot tubs, and a lovely "grotto" with little waterfalls for both adults and children to enjoy. They also have several good restaurants on property, a mix of fast casual and high end sit down restaurants to satisfy the needs of all guests. We were happy to see a market open for breakfast where we grabbed coffee and quick bagel sandwiches to go for a reasonable price before hitting Universal theme parks for the day. The resort is conveniently located walking distance to several off-property restaurants and a small shopping mall. It is a 10 minute drive to most major theme parks. I would recommend uber/lyft for your stay though, as parking on-site is very expensive at over $50/night with no in and out privileges. I had a great stay and look forward to visiting this Hyatt property again in the future! read more

My second time staying and this trip was amazing. Here for a volleyball tournament and some family R&R at some mouse type parks. I'm a total Hyatt enthusiast as the Hyatt brand has been consistent with great service, high quality, and great experience. Despite being globalist I feel Hyatt regency Orlando does an amazing job making all guest get well taken care of. Even prior to my arrival I had reached out to the team at the Orlando regency Hyatt regarding early check in and they responsive with their communication. Upon arrival from valet, front desk, bell hop, and all staff they were all kind and very accommodating. I enjoyed their pools and gym and for the serious lap swimmers they have an amazing lap pool. Amongst other amenities they have multiple onsite restaurants and a food market long with a store for all extra needs that was forgotten at home. Whether you stay in a basic room or a penthouse suite the whole experience will be memorable. staying as a globalist and using points to book the stay allowed me to have complimentary parking, buffet breakfast, lounge access all day for drinks, snacks cocktail hours and desserts. My favorite parts is that the pool staff removes saved seats if no personal belongings are on the towel, if there's any concerns or issues the team is a text away and are very responsive, and despite the extremely busy stay with volleyballers, dancers, science expo, and other vacationers the team kept the place clean. This Hyatt is located in an ideal spot on International Drive. Stayed here just a night because I love Hyatts and trust how clean their rooms always are and this Hyatt was like a resort. The property feels very expansive. When checking in, you can go to the drop off and check in before heading over to the parking garage which is a bit of a walk away. If you have a lot of luggage, consider dropping it off with who you're staying with at the front and park to minimize carrying a lot on the walk over. Check in was super smooth and easy, with staff that was friendly and so helpful. They have two towers and a lot of spots to walk around acoss their property. Our room was super clean and lovely with a balcony overlooking their property. We could see the pool area from our room and so sad we didn't get to go there. We truly were there just to sleep but definitely want to book a little vacation here again and plan to stay on property. You do have to pay a resort fee and the parking (either valet or self park) is pretty pricey but I can justify the cost because of how lovely this spot is! We had an excellent stay here. There were some construction noises but nothing terrible. Conveniently located to the convention center. The rooms were clean and spacious. We didn't go to the pool but it looked like a lot of fun. The 24 hour market was really helpful after coming in on a late flight. The gym is really nice and has a separate core area with mats and a separate Peloton studio. The only thing I couldn't find were weights less than 8 pounds. Angie really spoiled me with a fantastic facial. And the several days that I've been here, I've enjoyed three different eateries within the hotel. The food has been the best. And the service has been the best. Sheets and pillows in my room are absolutely so luxurious. My dreams are sweet ones. I sleep so well! I needed some things printed from an email. A couple of times. Ms Kenesha went out of her way for me. Really guided me along the process! The print shop on the ground level near the convention rooms called "the 11th hour " provides magnificent service. After staying at the Hyatt Regency Orlando during my most recent trip to Disney World, I think I'd rate my experience here higher than any of my stays at resorts on Disney property! Being a guest at the Hyatt Regency feels like a vacation at an all-inclusive Caribbean resort right here in the US! Two outdoor pools (one with a water slide), a variety of restaurants (from a retro-style diner to an Italian steakhouse), and an onsite spa. You could really spend a whole week just exploring the hotel! The guest rooms were beyond belief! I had the privilege of staying in a suite, which had two bathrooms, a bedroom with two queen beds, a pullout couch, and a Murphy bed. We only had 4 people staying in the room, but it could easily sleep up to 8 (even the Murphy bed was huge!). I also loved the spacious living area, with not one but TWO giant TVs, a bar, and a couch with a coffee table. I honestly wish I could live at the Hyatt Regency! read more

Good food options (but pricey!) onsite and close by. The staff were friendly and helpful. Convention center is attached so convenient for eventing. The first morning I was there my alarm clock went off at six. Which I had not set. And the second morning I was there, the neighboring room alarm clock went off at five something, and there was no one in that room so it just kept going until it worked itself out. As far as Hyatts go, I feel like this one is a mixed bag. Location wise, it's perfect if you're going to the convention center as it's right across the street. Some of the bars, restaurants, and shops, in one of Orlando's entertainment districts, are close but I wouldn't say comfortably walking distance from the hotel, especially with humidity, which is present all the time in Florida. I'd say Disney World is about 20 minutes or so. The hotel itself looks like a luxury hotel when you enter. There's a lot of convention and meeting space and it looks modern. The rooms themselves look dated but are clean. I didn't go swimming but the pool looks amazing and the employees here are super nice and helpful. read more

Plenty of charging stations in the room. The gym had plenty of machines, elliptical, rowing, treadmills etc. Also a room with only Peloton equipment. Love this place. We visited this hotel for New Year's Eve 2023 and having such a nice time we decided to have a 'redo' for New Year's Eve 2024. Upon our arrival we valeted our car and checked in at the Registration Desk. Check-in was simple and efficient. We went to our room and found it very comfortable and clean. In review of our registration information prior to our arrival, we saw that the Resort Fee that were required to pay included 2 bottles of water, 2 trolley tickets, and $10 off of $30 worth of food charged to our room. During our check-in, we were not informed of any of this NOR did we have water bottles waiting in our room. On our way to 'explore' the hotel (i.e. bar), we stopped by registration and mentioned the things covered by the Resort Fee. The attendant arranged to have waters left at our room, provided us the 2 promised trolley tickets, and reviewed the $10 credit that we would get once we spent $30 on food (only) only if we charged it to our room. We visited the Decend 21 Bar and enjoyed a couple of cocktails and then returned to our room for a short time where we found 2 bottles of water were waiting at our door as promised. Late afternoon, we went to Rocks for a couple of cocktails and an early dinner of appetizers. The bartenders were efficient and friendly. We had a bottle of wine ($50) which was very reasonable and then ordered wings ($21) and truffle fries ($14.50). Both were very good. We charged the bill which ended up being $109.00 (not including the $20 tip) to our room. Returning to our room, we discovered that while there were 3 towels and a couple of hand towels there were no wash clothes in the room which was quite disappointing; also the refrigerator wasn't on to keep our drinks chilled. We found plenty of pillows but they were very flat so they very much lacked and the bed wasn't the greatest - we woke up a little in pain from it. We enjoyed the room and the bars/food, but were overall very disappointed in the Resort Fee inclusions that failed to be provided and even offered at check-in. My belief is if you offer/advertise something you NEED to provide it and not hope that your customers don't realize so you aren't out the money. If you aren't going to provide something, don't offer and advertise it. read more

We booked this hotel because it was close to the convent center. Good news is you will be sheltered from the rain heading there. It's about a 10 min walk from hotel elevator to convention center get. Was very happy to see they had a nice pool, pool with slide, tennis court, and several restaurants selections. Our favorite was the 24 he market place and it was always busy. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean. The place was so busy and sometimes it took a long time for the elevator to arrive. We had a sink in the room, but there were not hand towels near the sink (in addition to the bathroom towels) so we didn't have enough towels for the bathroom and the kitchenette area. Parking is ridiculously priced. Restaurants on site were overpriced and mediocre at best. Service and ambiance were wonderful. I liked that the market was open all the time. We had a lot of issues with the room card keys and had to go to the front more than a couple of times. The view kind of stunk for the price we paid but can't really control that. The spa...the spa was amazing. I had massage therapist Lisa and she was great, very friendly, attentive, and perfect amount of pressure. Bethany was helpful at the front in getting me booked and telling me about the amenities and items, and ms Judy in the locker room and shower/jacuzzi/sauna area was a total sweetheart who was so helpful and kind with all of my questions. After my spa treatment I immediately left and told my mom we must come back for a mother daughter day!!!! It says attached to the convention center, it is but barely. To get to the north concourse it was at least a 20 minute walk, not bad exercise though. Rooms: The balcony has a nice view of the terrace pool and the west concourse of the convention center. Bathroom was pleasant and the room had lots of nice amenities. Pools: The first few days we went to the pools on the lower level which were fun but a little crowded at times. The hot tub specifically got crowded at times. The grotto pool and the big pool in the middle were relaxing. Water slide was fun but doesn't stay open past 5:00pm. Terrace pool was super hot like almost a hot tub, bro it's 100° out I'm trying to cool off. There is one BIG PROBLEM if there is lightning even somewhat close they close the pool. The amount of times we were waiting for them to open the pool when the sky was clear is crazy. Every time lightning comes within 20 miles the shut the pool down for 30 minutes and every time they detect it within 20 miles they add 30 minutes. Service: Concierge desk was always empty and the front desk had a long line all of the time, but the staff were friendly though. Restaurants: I ate at 4 of their restaurants, Coconuts, Descend 21, the market, and B line diner. Staring with coconuts, it took a long time to get the food but it was good when we got it. They did say the could accommodate celiac disease which my brother has and he got a little sick due to cross contamination. Next Descend 21, it is called Descend 21 because there are 21 stairs that you descend to get there. The pretzel was amazing!!!!! Absolutely delicious. The Mac & cheese was okay but nowhere near the level that the pretzel was on. My brother ate safely there too. The market was one of the only restaurants that was open past 10pm which is a plus if you're getting in late. They have a wide variety for a market, including pizza, empanadas (which my brother ate safely), sandwiches, and more! They also have coffee and snacks. The pizza was delicious but the thing that I got every night was the Chocolate Mousse Parfait. Absolutely Spectacular top 5 dessert. Last but not least the B-Line diner. This place checks all the boxes, allergy safe, great service, great food, and central in the hotel. I got Mac and cheese one night and a burger the other which were delicious. Overall I would recommend to stay at this hotel if you have an event at the convention center or you're just vacationing to orlando. They also have a very nice gym, but if it's busy another way to get some exercise is to walk down all 31 flights of stairs like I did. And I used the room service option, but the food was ridiculously over priced, and I'm not just talking the room service prices, going down to the quick service option was also crazy, I picked up a water bottle for $8. $8 for water is crazy. I think for nationals next year I'm going to stay somewhere else . Though a little birdy did tell me that the outdoor pool is heated, so who knows, we'll see what happens. read more

Wow! This is the 3rd Hyatt I've stayed at and I am always left pleased with the stay. This was the first place my boyfriend looked up when we planned our trip to Orlando and I'm so glad he did. There is tons to do at this location, from fine dining to shopping (affordable prices I might add) to poolside fun, there is literally something for everyone. The location is great too, it's less than a mile from "The Pointe" and a little over a mile to "Icon Park" two must-do's in the area. Uber's are reasonably priced to and from this location and the staff are extremely helpful. Can't wait to come back and create more memories here! read more

Nice Hyatt regency with walking bridge connecting to the conference center and other Rosen hotels. The regency lounge was underwhelming though. No lunch service and the food is always similar with no variation day to day. The pool was nice and cabanas kept us comparatively cool and allowed me to work a little. Expensive, kind of strange space, but not without its charm and views. We came here for the National K-12 Scholastic Chess Tournament and stayed for two nights. We had to book late and were staying as a family of four, so wound up getting a very expensive room which had two queens in one room with an adjoining huge living room with a Murphy bed. The space was incredibly nice with a kitchenette and living area and dining room and fantastic views. It was a bit strange though as there was no even microwave in the kitchenette space, which made it hard to quite leverage the living room space for generally existing as you might like, e.g., reheating leftovers. The ability to eat carry out or delivery food in the room with a stunning view was great. Check in wasn't perfect where I first only got access to the bedroom and had to go back down to the front desk again to get keys for both rooms. The hotel complex is huge with a convention center and at least 4 restaurants, which is bewildering and crazy. The Italian steakhouse was nice, but the "market" was crazed every morning. It made what could have been convenient co-location of food a bit of a chore. read more

Was here for Megaplex, we stayed for the weekend. Place is massive! Two pools; one for the party aminals and one for the relax or sport swimmers. I cannot rate the pool. I stayed at the convention most of my time. I was gonna but but? I was having to much fun lol. No regerts! Pool look really nice from outside lol it has access to its own bar and also the 21 something bar. Both had decent looking menus but , Dear god! The prices though!!!! Even the "cheapest" food place "the market" has uber expensive items. If you have kids? U will destroy! Like demolish your wallet! Most people were surviving on delivery food. The grocery store downstairs? Same issue. Ok that out of the way? The room was big, cleaned and hella comfy. Decent size shower. The ac was ice cold! The little one in my room thinks he's a goddamn polar bear lol blankets were comfy but did nothing for the cold. Nice hoodie on me n i was out cold. Shower comes with soap, mouth stuff, shampoo, conditioner and more soap. The mini kitchen area? It had the coffee maker kurig style. A nice wine cooler with a window. And ... noo microwave!!? It bother the crap outa me that there was no microwave! Especially when the food downstairs was uber expensive. Not mentioned the Italian stake house. I was interested n then i was like naw. Don't get me wrong the menu looks great! Food looks amazing. But no way at the moment. The hotel connects directly to all the convention buildings. The one literally in property is hugemongus! it took ne a couple hours to get used to how tall the damn roof is. I kept loosing my balance n had this weird sensation i was gonna fall upwards lol vertigo was kicking in! This area was super clean, ac was on high so even though theres alot of people n we jumping around like wild beasts? Never felt hot all day. They had water fountains for us and a mini bar for the adult juice. Plenty of places to drop down and chill. Would definitely recommend the restaurant. The food drama? Easy fix. You are on international road there's endless options for that. Theres always dd n uber eats. Parking is off set from resort and again no biggie.
