Food was stolen by the front desk. I had delivery to my room. With a picture. Never was delivered. Claims they never received. Ghetto hostess. Thanks for being scum.

I stayed here for a work conference. The hotel was huge with multiple conference room sections (Orlando, Florida, Plaza, Regency). You will be walking a lot especially if you stay at Tower 2 since the conference rooms were closer to Tower 1. I booked a King Pool View Room and I have to admit the view was great. The room was very spacious and clean. I appreciated the two bottles of complimentary water every day. The hotel staff were very nice and the conference food was decent. I would stay here again!

Beautiful hotel with a welcoming lobby! They also have great restaurant options and an amazing upscale bar. If you're attending the Orange County Convention Center, there's an escalator that leads you to a bridge/crosswalk that leads directly to the second floor of the convention center, which is really convenient. This is a prime hotel in the area, the best in my opinion.

My stay at the Hyatt Regency Orlando was pleasant. My room was clean with essential toiletries. The key litmus test for any hotel room is the bed and shower. My mattress preference is pillow top cover and firm bottom. Also, rain showers are best and provide a hydro massage while showering allowing you to feel more relaxed after a shower. My room checked all the boxes. The Hyatt also has several in-hotel restaurants (very good food), swimming pool and two elevator bays with six elevators each. Also, the hotel is located new a string of restaurants if you choose to eat outside the hotel and bars Does anyone know why they open your hotel curtains every day? Housekeeping opens the curtains every day and then I close in the evening. It is a clever hotel room dance that happens every day to the point you might say, does anyone else want my dance card. To be honest, I am happy they clean the hotel room so fresh every day. Please, please keep my hotel curtains closed. Overall, I had a great stay at the Hyatt!

A very brief stay for a mandatory conference, Hyatt Regency Orlando is precisely what you'd expect from a large conference-style hotel. Spread across an enormous footprint all through-ways were spotless while the room was comfy enough. Food prepared for the conference was pretty typical buffet stuff, and the coffee needs an upgrade from whatever over-roasted blend they're using.

My second time staying and this trip was amazing. Here for a volleyball tournament and some family R&R at some mouse type parks. I'm a total Hyatt enthusiast as the Hyatt brand has been consistent with great service, high quality, and great experience. Despite being globalist I feel Hyatt regency Orlando does an amazing job making all guest get well taken care of. Even prior to my arrival I had reached out to the team at the Orlando regency Hyatt regarding early check in and they responsive with their communication. Upon arrival from valet, front desk, bell hop, and all staff they were all kind and very accommodating. I enjoyed their pools and gym and for the serious lap swimmers they have an amazing lap pool. Amongst other amenities they have multiple onsite restaurants and a food market long with a store for all extra needs that was forgotten at home. Whether you stay in a basic room or a penthouse suite the whole experience will be memorable. staying as a globalist and using points to book the stay allowed me to have complimentary parking, buffet breakfast, lounge access all day for drinks, snacks cocktail hours and desserts. My favorite parts is that the pool staff removes saved seats if no personal belongings are on the towel, if there's any concerns or issues the team is a text away and are very responsive, and despite the extremely busy stay with volleyballers, dancers, science expo, and other vacationers the team kept the place clean. The perfect place to stay in Orlando!

This Hyatt is located in an ideal spot on International Drive. Stayed here just a night because I love Hyatts and trust how clean their rooms always are and this Hyatt was like a resort. The property feels very expansive. When checking in, you can go to the drop off and check in before heading over to the parking garage which is a bit of a walk away. If you have a lot of luggage, consider dropping it off with who you're staying with at the front and park to minimize carrying a lot on the walk over. Check in was super smooth and easy, with staff that was friendly and so helpful. They have two towers and a lot of spots to walk around acoss their property. Our room was super clean and lovely with a balcony overlooking their property. We could see the pool area from our room and so sad we didn't get to go there. We truly were there just to sleep but definitely want to book a little vacation here again and plan to stay on property. You do have to pay a resort fee and the parking (either valet or self park) is pretty pricey but I can justify the cost because of how lovely this spot is! Excited to come back and stay again!

Hyatt Regency Orlando is always home for me but also for ZINCON which happens every summer, Late July / Early August. I love all the amenities that come with the resort such as a spa, the grotto pool, B-Line Diner, the Regency Club where for a fee offers you little snacks and beverages throughout your stay. As an Explorist (once a Globalist ), the World of Hyatt program and its perks for tier members really serve great benefits to reap.

Beautiful and splendid. Welcoming at reception. Such a pleasant check in! Really use such a beautiful hotel. The artwork, carpets, & furnishings. Just exciting adorable nooks for you to write your memoir, think out life choices or chat with associates/hotel guests. The pool area is grand. A waterfall area , mega slide and hot tubs too. Palm trees and a sweet eatery called Coconuts! Gorgeous blue waters and those amazing palm trees!! Ahhhhhh, gorgeous!! I booked a facial with ANGIE in the spa. What a wonderful experience that was. A lovely fragrance creams and oils and exfoliating products. Wonderful private getaway within this fine hotel. Private, indoor and outdoor hot tubs and sauna. Angie really spoiled me with a fantastic facial. And the several days that I've been here, I've enjoyed three different eateries within the hotel. The food has been the best. And the service has been the best. Sheets and pillows in my room are absolutely so luxurious. My dreams are sweet ones. I sleep so well! I needed some things printed from an email. A couple of times. Ms Kenesha went out of her way for me. Really guided me along the process! The print shop on the ground level near the convention rooms called "the 11th hour " provides magnificent service. Top service! Wonderful staff! The restaurants are magnificent and so beautiful. The Service is magnificent. The dishware is so beautiful... like works of art! The chefs have filled my belly with such nourishing food. The sea bass at Fiorenzo was absolute HEAVEN. The stuffed avocado salad at B-Line Diner was amazing! The miso crusted crab fish was delicious. If I had my ukelele I would write a song about this place. It really was like a dream. I really love it here and I look forward to coming back.

Apparently I originally "checked in" on here at the wrong hotel. Cuz there's one inside the airport. So glad I wasn't confused when I actually got here! The room was nice and clean. AC worked great. Good food options (but pricey!) onsite and close by. The staff were friendly and helpful. Convention center is attached so convenient for eventing. The first morning I was there my alarm clock went off at six. Which I had not set. And the second morning I was there, the neighboring room alarm clock went off at five something, and there was no one in that room so it just kept going until it worked itself out. Other than that, it was a great stay!

The hotel was nice and the lobby was clean. Going into the room, everything was clean. They give mouthwash and othet little things, which was great. There was a smell in the room. It was a musty smell. We had a balcony which was nice. Over experience was great. I would go back. Super convenient that a hotel is in the airport.

Ask the Community - Hyatt Regency Orlando

Do they have Peloton bikes available like Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress?

They don't have Peloton bikes but they do have a large spin studio.

Do they have a shuttle from the airport or should I just take an Uber?

    Yes they do

Are there microwaves in the rooms?

No, but every hotel has one with their guest request department ( aka housekeeping) you can always request it prior to your arrival or upon your arrival. I'm not sure if the Hyatt Regency has one, but you can always ask and find out.

    Are micro fridges available? Thanks!

Hi, for the person who asked about an in room, fridge, YES indeed. I did not have to ask. This is a very well equipped hotel.

    Are micro fridges available?

Yes there are fridges in the room. When you check in, make sure you ask to confirm that you have one for your room in case there are different levels that only get refrigerators

My room was nice, if not a bit odd. The bed was comfy. But the room seemed lacking some basic furniture. There was a huge empty space across from the couch, with just a bare wall. And there was no drawers or anyplace to put our luggage on top of or to put our clothes into - especially not for a room with 2 queen beds in it. Not once did the waitstaff ever come by to offer me more coffee at breakfast. So, for service I give 3 stars. However, the bartender at the pool was wonderful! She was very nice and attentive. The valets were all great! The front desk staff were all wonderful. It's really just the waitstaff in the restaurants that need to get better. We loved our room. We had a view of the pool. I did call downstairs to ask for a magnifying mirror and a weight scale. They said they didn't have either. Fortunately they called back and did in fact have a scale and brought it up to my room. I would hope a nice hotel like this would have magnified mirrors for the bathroom. The food and drinks in the restaurants were good. No complaints. The location is great. There was no utensil For the waffles. I forgot to ask for one but how come no one else noticed? The staff did replenish the food but not the serving spoons/tongs. We were able to go out and about without worrying about driving, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The hotel was easy to find, and parking is conveniently located right across the street with simple in-and-out access (though, of course, there is a parking fee -- which is never fun). Inside, the hotel is very clean, beautifully decorated, and the staff was accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was on the fifth floor, which I actually prefer when staying in a city -- the higher up, the better to avoid street noise. One of my favorite features of Embassy Suites is the room layout. The separation between the living room and bedroom is ideal, especially if someone wants to rest while others are still awake. The rooms have consistently been clean and feel very homey. Everything was great -- until Sunday morning. This is a dog-friendly hotel, which we love since we bring our dog and take her on walks so she's not stuck inside all weekend. However, checkout morning was pure chaos. One of the two elevators was out of service, it was peak checkout time, and there was also a princess pageant event happening, so the hotel was much busier than usual. Trying to get downstairs with my dog was extremely frustrating. I looked for stairs but wasn't sure if they were alarmed. When I asked an employee to confirm, she looked at me like I had five heads, which didn't help my already thin patience (I definitely did not have enough coffee for that situation). I eventually just went downstairs. Coming back up was even worse -- the line for the single working elevator was ridiculous. When I asked the front desk about the stairs, I was told they were accessible from outside. I didn't realize I needed my key card to re-enter through the outdoor stairwell (which makes total sense -- I was just aggravated at that point). After going back inside and trying again, I ended up walking up five flights of stairs with my dog. Thankfully, we had requested a late checkout, so we avoided the absolute peak of the chaos. Our friends on the third floor ended up carrying their luggage down the stairs because waiting for the elevator wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, being on the fifth floor with a lot of luggage, that wasn't really an option for us. Aside from that stressful morning, we really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary evening happy hour with drink tickets and small bites is always a highlight. We also had breakfast on Saturday morning -- and honestly, the breakfast is a major deciding factor whenever we choose to stay at a Hilton. Overall, a great stay with one very frustrating checkout experience.

The food was surprisingly mediocre, and they have four different restaurants you can eat from and we went to three of them, which seems to be the same style of food just spread out. The first night I had a Smashburger it looked very delicious, but then I found myself putting on basic ingredients on my burger, salt and pepper. If I did not, it would have not had any seasoning. The second night I went to the Brazilian steak eatery and as far as a quick steak to get, it was very delicious and they serve it with mashed potatoes and gravy, which was really delicious. I would recommend eating your meals at least for dinner there if you're going to eat in the in the resort. If you're looking cocktails, they have them and they're very delicious. Prices are high, but you get a quality drink. I think I just had a bad experience. I don't feel that everybody encounters what I encountered when they visit, but I would have given a 3 star rating if it wasn't for how convenient it is to get to the park, there's a shuttle that picks you up every 10 minutes and drops you off and when you're done at the park, it picks you up and takes you right back to the hotel. Beats paying $50 a day for parking at the parks, but you still have to pay for parking with your room which is significantly less. All-In-all it was good, but not great for my experience, I will probably attend a different resort next time, but as a local in Florida, we have that choice.

Well, this hotel was fabulous. I literally only have two small-ish negative things to say, and it…read moreprobably doesn't affect everyone. PRO's: -Nicely sized rooms - not huge, but not small either. I was assigned to a room with two queen beds, but it was just me, so I had an extra bed to put luggage, etc. on. -HUGE bathrooms, including a separate shower and separate bathtub, and nice amenties. -Excellent customer service - I had some ice packs I needed them to hold on to, in their freezer, and they were able to do that at the bell hop desk for me. -Ridiculously nice pool area - I was staying here for a conference and brought a swimsuit just in case, but as soon as I got to my room the first day - which they upgraded me, to a pool/lake room view, even though I don't have status with Marriott - I knew I had to try out the pool and waterslides. Luckily I had a spare hour before my conference started so I literally ate lunch and then jumped on a water slide, ha. ----There are three water slides: one you require an inner tube for, and the other two you just lay back while on it. CONs: -The area between the toilet and the toilet paper roll is super small. I am not a small person so this is probably why I had an issue, but I ended up just taking the toilet paper off the roll, because it kept hitting my thighs when I unrolled it. -The shower has a handheld area you can use or just the regular shower top (? I forget the name for that). The regular top doesn't have great water pressure, so I ended up using the handheld thing and just keeping it pointed towards me. They have a sign up in the lobby saying that Forbes chose them as one of the nicest properties in the world, I believe, and I can see why. They also have a few restaurants on site, as well as a Starbucks, but most of my meals were included at my conference; I did get Doordash the first day I was there, though. Be aware that for the Starbucks you cannot order ahead on the app, though, and the lines are often long (especially with conferences going on, and there were two while I was staying there, including ours!). I would definitely stay at this hotel again - I wasn't paying for the bill this time but I believe it is rather pricey normally, though.

The JW Marriott definitely looks and feels like a high-end property. The hotel is polished,…read moreattractive, and has the upscale atmosphere you expect from the brand. That said, the price point is definitely on the high side, so expectations naturally go up with it. For me, the biggest disconnect was the service level, which felt more fair than exceptional. Nothing was terrible, but it did not really match the luxury pricing or the overall image of the property. When you are paying premium rates, you expect service that stands out, and this felt a little more average than memorable. Overall, it is a nice hotel, but at this price level I was hoping for a stronger service experience.
