We arrived 10 am on a summer Saturday morning without reservations . No real crowds. Only maybe 4 other groups ahead of us signing up. One hour later.... we've signed up, filled in our paperwork, watched a safety video, get our helmets, we were instructed to walk approximately 75 yards to a waiting shuttle to the equipment location. At the beach equipment location we were shown our buggy and given a safety talk and instructions on how to call for getting help if stuck in the dunes. Pay attention cuz you might need help. And sure enough we got stuck 10 mins into our adventure. We were told not to go into the 'Do Not Enter Zone'. There's a reason.... Noobs like us would get stuck. There's no market area.... We turned too early.... Following some kids into the danger zone. Support came quickly to the rescue. Super friendly people and was told jokingly 'know your ABC 'already been caught'. They unstuck us in two minutes. YAY! Away we go again. This time we found our way to the allowed zones. We spent the rest of the hour up and down dunes. One hour was plenty of time for us. We returned our dine buggy and shuttled back to the parking lot location. What a fun time. I would recommend Sun Buggy Rentals.

Went out and my son got stuck multiple times in the sand and I had to help him get out. We didnt even get past the half way mark and decided to go back and finish after 40 mins. So, for your greed you get this terrible rating and a bunch of people asked which place I went to and i told them avoid Steves and BJ's and try Sunbuggy Fun Rentals.

I saw several verities of quadcopters that could mount my Gopro camera's. Now I was hooked. I ordered a quad, and shortly afterward received an E-mail from Jaso, he stated that he's gotten recent negative reviews on the item that I ordered, he picked out a selection of quad's that may provide me with greater satisfaction. Jason brought on a good case and I ordered the Naza 450, and transmitter too. What California Kite Boarding does that is over the top, they put together the quad, marry the transmitter to the quad, and then fly it to determine that it works. They then mail it out to you. Jason also provides over the phone instruction, which is something that I found out that I need. I really appreciate what Jason has done, California Kite Boarding, is a business I'll frequent!

The pedaling was labored, and the chain on our family bike popped off not once, but twice, leaving us stranded in traffic. This wasn't just an inconvenience--it was a safety hazard. We returned the bikes early, and the owner's response was shockingly dismissive. She said a quick "sorry" and then literally went inside and hid, refusing to speak with us or offer any refund. An appalling lack of customer care.

When I told the staff about the hole on the wetsuit, he said that's ok as long as there's not a lot of water coming into it. I don't know how they managed to surf without having water coming in. The equipment was not useable and the owner not only refused to refund, but also shown aggressive and unfriendly attitude. Oh and by the way, it's really pricey to rent from here. Overall really poor experience. Do not recommend. There are many other better rental shops out there in pismo.

They ad taken their RV up and spent the four day weekend there with the young kids. This was a last minute reservation, but they got a space in Coyote with plenty of shade, but no lake view. They paid the overnight fees for thir four day stay. We pulled in around 2pm and paid the $10. day use fee at the front gate. They greeted us warmly, and gave us a map with the location of the kids' RV highlighted in marker on it. We followed the roads around past the Osprey camping site and the pool and large restrooms, and up the hill to Coyote. After lots of virtual elbow bumps, we settled down to BBQ at a long table with bench seats that we put under the nearby tree. We ate, drank, and chatted about childhood pets while the little boys bicycled around the campground. The camp site was sheltered by a hill, but the afternoon light was very bright and we were glad that we brought hats! We cuddled up in fleece car blankets as the sun started to set and it got chilly! This was a fun and affordable family party for these times. The kids said that they had reserved a lake view space for next year (a year ahead) and we look forward to another family fun day in the future!
