So when we were heading towards Auchterarder at tea time it seemed like the Gods of overeating were smiling on us. 2 fish suppers and one mini fish supper later the car smelt awesome, it had gone very quiet, fingers were greasy and all was right with the world. The chips were perfection, proper chippy chips. Unfortunately, the batter on the fish wasn't quite crispy enough, another couple of minutes in the fryer and the batter would have done justice to the fresh, meaty fish within. That said we managed to finish everything and ensured that the next trip up north comes with the requisite craving.

This was the best fish and chips we had during the trip and there were many good ones. Side salads were yummy and huge. Coleslaw was just ok, supppper creamy. I prefer the mushed peas. The star was definitely the Breaded Haddock. I've had fish and chips around the UK for much cheaper, but at a slightly higher price point you get a perfectly crispy piece of fish with double-fried chips.
