The wait staff was all Italian and very friendly and quite hilarious. They asked how much time we had on our tour to ensure that they had enough time to serve us which I thought was very attentive. They have a great lunch special menu with daily offerings. I got the artichoke risotto which was so good and a huge portion. I visited Dieci in August for lunch on a week day with 3 American friends and the service was truly…read moreterrible I must' say. It was sunny and getting hot and we had an older person with us. They made us wait in the sun for a table for like 10 min. even though they had a number of tables available. They gave us a small table which was half in the sun while there were bigger tables with shade. The sign said to wait to be seated and so we did. But we noticed some other people just grabbing great tables and the waiter not saying anything and serving them right away. Then they made us wait forever to take our order and to bring it and not all at the same time. Like we were half way done with our dishes when our elderly friend received his dish :( Last but not least, when I asked the waiter if they had wifi he told me NO. At the end of the lunch my friend checked on her phone for Wi-Fi and promptly found the free Dieci Wi-Fi and logged on and so did I as we were all on U.S. cell service. I couldn't believe the rudeness of their staff. I even speak Swiss German, Italian & Spanish. The only saving grace was that the food was decent. I was really looking forward to our visit and showing my friends how fabulous Rapperswil is since I don't live in CH anymore. But this lunch at Dieci ruined the experience :((. It may have been Covid or it may have been that they were understaffed or just not happy to have to work.
