Dr. Baxt is fast paced no nonsense and can come off a bit brash when talking about other providers you've went to. I wouldn't say she's personable as some have said. She speaks to you as if you're a child so bedside could be improved. She says hello and then gets right into what you came in for and then a good bye with her back to you as she's leaving. She did provide what I desired for the most part (albeit the bruise she left me) and does suggest other treatments for other concerns you have without being pushy. It's difficult to find a thorough provider near me so I thought I try her and satisfied so far but I'm still looking bc I am a little surprised she's not up on the most current treatments. She is very very expensive. She did say her prices are a lot more than California which was surprising bc the West coast is pretty expensive. Bruise on my cheek is still there post 3 wks .

After paying 275$ for a consultation was told if I wanted to biopsy a skin tag I would be charged for additional time even though I was only seen for a few minutes. Dr Baxt then proceeded to insult other physicians I had seen and basically bash their recommendations by stating they were lying about treatments they suggested for a skin condition. Then she diagnosed my skin with rosacea which was completely inaccurate and almost funny because I had some blush on my checks. Her attitude was unprofessional and a bit arrogant. I will not be returning or recommending this practice.

This review is for pediatric dermatology based on 3 visits this year…read more My baby developed terrible skin issues (imagine eczema skin that is starting to look like burn skin). We saw his pediatrician and local dermatologist but his skin progressively got worse. Couple local moms recommended Dr Chun despite being over half hour drive away. I took the chance because his skin was out of control and he was only 4 months old. I am SO glad I did. After hearing my baby's issues, scheduling lady squeezed me in for the first appointment available. Dr Chun checked his body and then came back with recommendation. She spent time explaining to us what her diagnosis is and what the treatment plan entails. After following her treatment plan, his skin started to clear up in 3 days! We had a follow up appointment to see how he was doing. For our second appt, we waited about 30-45 mins and the actual appt was probably like 10 mins. As much as I would love for appointments to run on time, I think we should have more empathy since we do not know what Dr Chun is going through. For our first appt, I was a hot mess and appreciated that she spent time with us (I won't be surprised if we caused some delays). Sadly 6 months later, my baby's skin flared up again and it got infected. We had to see Dr Chun for the third time. After following her treatment plan, his skin improved drastically after couple days. I can't emphasize how great her treatment plan is. She is literally a miracle worker. Note: we had an insurance issue with one of the ointments prescribed because CVS wanted to charge us $500! They helped us find another pharmacy who charged us $45.

I had a frustrating experience at this practice. My child's appointment was scheduled for 5:30 PM,…read moreand we arrived at 5:15 PM. Upon check-in, I was asked whether I had completed paperwork that I had never received in advance. The waiting room was packed, with what appeared to be 15-20 families waiting. We then sat for nearly an hour past our appointment time. At 6:20 PM, after I asked why we were running almost an hour behind schedule, we were suddenly called back immediately. What was most disappointing was that we never actually saw the dermatologist. Instead, we were seen by a PA, who was lovely, professional, and genuinely helpful. However, it felt as though she was sent in response to my expressed frustration. When I later asked the front desk whether evening appointments are typically this delayed, I was told that evenings are usually "hectic." That response suggests this wasn't an unusual occurrence but rather an expected part of the schedule. The recommendation for my child was to return for 3-6 additional wart treatments. Unfortunately, there is no scenario in which I'm going to drive 30 minutes to Paramus, wait an hour or more, and then have a five-minute procedure repeated multiple times. I understand that delays happen in medicine, especially in pediatrics. But if evening appointments are consistently running this far behind, the practice needs to either schedule fewer patients or add more support. Families are balancing work, commutes, dinner, homework, etc. Waiting nearly an hour past an appointment time without communication is not respectful. Scheduling, wait times & office management left a lot to be desired.

I have been waiting for years to get them re done because I didn't have a great experience with the first surgeon I chose years ago. Once I made my consultation appointment and came in that day, I knew I made the best decision! Barbara the practice manager and Dr. Rosenberg both were in the consult room with me. Dr. Rosenberg is very thorough and meticulous!! He examined me and made his recommendation for my case. What I really admired is that he gave me several options and did not push anything on me. Instead he laid out the options and asked me to go home and speak with my family first and decide what I truly wanted to do. I was pushed into surgery years ago and felt I wasn't part of the surgical plan and didn't have any say in what I wanted. After speaking with my family I called Barbara the next morning and she managed to work a miracle given his fully booked schedule and she squeezed me in for surgery on 10/13/20!!! We chose implant size and went over preop and post op care! I can go on and on about my surgical experience! Dr. manny the anesthesiologist is incredible!!
