This same woman has been rude/ unfriendly to me on multiple occasions. I usually never leave the store without spending at least $100. When I told her the crackers I bought yesterday for a dinner party were expired she just looked at me with a fake smile and said she had them recently and that is how they are supposed to taste. I spent three months in Italy and never have I tasted something so stale. I was explaining to her how awful they were and no I would not like another bag. She just kept saying I'm sorry and smiling. No refund, and unwilling to say the customer is right. Will not be returning there.

You have to literally log on to their website the minute the classes are posted and reserve a spot immediately. We got married in May and have been trying to use our gift certificate ever since. It was worth the wait! Our event was hosted by The Royal Chef (Darren McGrady). He cooked for 5 US Presidents in addition to the Queen of England and her family. Needless to say, he didn't disappoint. Not only was the food he created fantastic, but he was personable and super funny. There were 16 people total (which is the max for the space) and we enjoyed observing Darren and learning new techniques. The wrap-around counter ensures that eveyone has a bird's eye view. We loved every minute of it. Our menu included: - Blueberry, Feta and Kale Salad - Chili and Garlic Crusted Shrimp with Double Cheese Grits - Minute Steaks with Blue Cheese, Caramelized Onions, and Cannellini Bruschetta - Sticky Toffee Pudding with Clotted Cream The staff at Cook is top-notch. Never an empty wine nor water glass, and plates were delivered and cleared with the quickness. It was a casual, social, and fun setting. This is not a hands-on culinary event, rather, this is an event where you sit back, relax, and watch your chef work their magic. You don't have to lift a finger and that's the way I like it! You can purchase kitchen gadgets and goodies at this location at a 15% discount on the day of your event. Cook offers something for everyone. Some of the events are pricey, but there are some that are more budget-friendly. Check it out and be sure to work those quick-typing fingers to reserve a fun class fast!

I love the quality of Le Creuset cooking items, so I stopped in to see what sales were available. There were a few tables with items for 60% off so I was able to pick up a few cool things for my kitchen. The items were perfectly wrapped as I dropped my bag and nothing broke. I wanted to pick up a few other pieces but since they are heavy I was debating. The staff volunteered to hold them for me while I shopped so I didn't have to carry it. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'll be back again!

This Labor Day weekend, we went up during a cloudy day and once again I found myself in Le Creuset. The staff were friendly and I noticed that they brought the Cassis collection back, which we last bought five years ago during our wedding. How could we not try to pick up a few more pieces. While looking at some stoneware, Ron, said that he would put it aside for me, since I was still thinking about it and there were only two left in the store. I thanked him, but said, I'll just get it. Picked up a few other small items too. While paying, I was mentioning how I was interested in a stainless steel skillet. I was told the deal was only good for one more day and I left to think about it. The price was really good and among the best I've seen... I mentioned it to my wife that I thought about buying it and she said "why didn't you?" Okay, I'll just go back. They grabbed the skillet from the back and again, I picked up a few more items. I sure got my workout in while carrying these bags, but the staff mentioned that they would hold the packages for me until we're finished. A nice offer, but I wouldn't feel like going back a third time...

The cooking place was pretty cool. There was flavored water to sip on while we waited for the class to start. The whole cooking experience was shared between 4 different people. The table is kind of small for us to work on especially with how many people attended the class. The kitchen had a tv to see what was going on but for some reason it wasn't facing the chef so it was pretty useless. The class has helpers to the chef which was very useful. There was someone to helped with cleaning dishes, someone to help us when we couldn't figure out what to do or if we had questions, and someone who helped create the prep of ingredients. Our teacher was nice but it felt like we rushed through cooking the dish. The important stuff was pre prepared which was kind of a bummer. Like the dough for the dumplings was kneaded already and the filling for the soup dumplings were premade. I was also kind of bummed to know that it's super hard to make the soup dumpling filling. We also made some stir-fry noodles and green beans. It was interesting to learn how green beans are prepared to be so crisp via blanching in oil.

Our chef made sure that we understood his instructions to prepare the meal. He emphasized the importance of "mise en place" which means having everything prepared in advance. Our meal was Seared Scallops with Champagne Beurre Blanc, Saffron-Scented Risotto with Peas and Prosciutto, and Chocolate Souffle with Salted Caramel Sauce. We started with making the Risotto. Each couple was matched with another couple and took turns with the preparation. There was a 10 minute break to give the class participants the time to walk around the shop. We finished the risotto and made the scallops. The souffle was the only portion of the meal that the students did not prepare. We enjoyed the experience and decided to take another class.
