With this in mind, they do have a generous sales room where shoes can be ~$20-40 off (I haven't been there often enough to know how the sales change, so I might be off). I honestly had never heard of Allbirds before I stumbled in here. The staff was welcoming, as I browsed their displays. I learned that they're a minimalist New Zealand company dedicated to reversing climate change with sustainable functional apparel (mostly shoes). Into it! I love how each product is marked with its carbon footprint and list of renewable materials. There are about half a dozen different shoes, and I think they were all $98 and unisex. Yes, pricey, but worth the sustainable quality (also, helps that I haven't bought new shoes in years). I tried on the Wool Loungers and was in heaven. They're easy to slip on, the soles are so comfy, and they design is minimal and clean. And they're machine-washable!! Note: This style only comes in full sizes and run small. I sized up from 7 to 8. I live in LA so I've never been to the store but this is regarding an online purchase…read more I bought an item off their website and finally got the package and was so excited but once I picked it up I knew something was wrong.. it was too light. Once I opened it, it was EMPTY. They used a small USPS box but did not tape the sides of the box thus making it easy for a USPS employee to open the box and take the item. I know there's a sticky edge to close the box but WHY wouldn't you tape the sides of the box to make it super secured?! Especially knowing that it was during the holidays and package thieves are on the rise. I live in a super secured building and we have parcel lockers so it definitely happened while in transit because I picked up the box as soon as I got a text saying it was delivered. I contacted them and they said it was out of their hands once it leaves their facility and to file a claim with USPS.. THEY TOO CAN FILE THE CLAIM AND RE-SEND MY ITEM. What kind of customer service is this? As a business owner myself, I would have shipped one out ASAP and file a claim, if my claim was denied, I would just write it off as a loss. But this store doesn't give a crap. I even tried to buy another one off them and now they're out of stock? Smh. I ended up buying the same item somewhere else.
