Last week I took in a lock for a door that was on the house when we moved in (+25 years ago) and probably there since the house was built (+ 60 years ago). Just getting the lock off the door was an ordeal because it was basically fused to the door, the mounting screws corroded, etc., etc., so I wasn't really hopeful that it could be salvaged. I took it in and Wayne basically said 'no problem' and (2) days later I had a working deadbolt on my garage door. It would have been only (1) day, but it took another day to remove 60 years of paint and debris from the cylinder before it could be keyed. The price was very fair and the value was exceptional.
