I love that the Parking is right there And very easy to spot what I love the most is how there was disability parking easy to find and that the grassy Hill was not too difficult for my elderly relatives to walk up slowly with their walker, their cane and assisted with the wheelchair so it was good fun for everyone Multiple generations not too hot really good shade and something that could be enjoyed by the older crowd and little kids.

The park itself looks huge and there is so much open space The playground is super fun. There is a younger kid area and an older child area. I was grateful to have participated in the event this year. I look forward to be a returning participant in the future. It was my first time visiting Brookside Park. It is Pasadena's largest fully maintained park located south of the Rose Bowl Stadium. It is indeed a beautiful park. Huge parking lot available off Arroyo Boulevard. There is a baseball stadium, football and soccer fields, tennis courts, swimming pool facilities, many picnic tables, good size children's playground area, restrooms, drinking fountains, etc. Barbecue pits are available in most picnic areas. I would love to return to this park on my own personal time and enjoy its amenities. If you're in the Pasadena area and need a place to walk, rest, hang out, have lunch, or play, Brookside Park may be the place for you.

As a spectator, I know the Pasadena Soccer League plays here, but not sure if they are the only league using this place. They've got bleachers on one side and when I watch a game during fall/winter evening, it is cold as heck!!! Bring your thickest jackets, gloves, beanies, thermals, etc. I've seen families bring their fleece blankets to watch a game! Since my boyfriend plays soccer here, I asked him what he thinks of this field. He says the field is a decent place to play at...astro turf and all. The guys and gals in the league are all pretty cool people to play with. The lady who is always overlooking all the games seems like an awesome person. She's friendly, helpful, and has on more than one occasion been quick to aid an injured player. The field seems pretty well kept and has all the adequate equipment needed. Back to my point of view. After watching games at Pomona and not having decent bleachers to sit at over there, I'd say I'm a bigger fan of Robinson Park. Although it gets cold, I can easily fix that. As i mentioned earlier, it's multipurpose. It's actually a football field and a baseball field with basketball courts on the side. And from what I've heard, they have a free gym? He screamed at me to leave and when I asked for clarification, he acted as though he couldn't hear me. I continued to try and get clarification until he eventually turned to face me, said nothing but raised his broom as if to threaten me walking closer until I picked up my dog and left. Doesn't seem fitting for a community center to have someone so violent. It was a shame to see that man still works there today. And a shame they did nothing about this. Happened Sept 16th.

It's nice to see that the park is still beautiful and running smoothly with activities for kids as well as adults. Back when I grew up here there were a lot of cholos and gangsters hanging out during the day as well as the evenings. And the walls were covered in grafitti. I'm not so sure how it is now, but I've started to visit this park on a regular basis to play some pick up basketball with some of the regulars here. Some of which I went to school with as a child. I miss this place and I look forward to visiting more often.
