From the moment I pulled up to the restaurant from the moment I left - it was perfection. It was a chilly, rainy summer day - so we sat indoors. The restaurant has a small dining area - but that is part of the charm. We sat in the best seats in the house - right in the front windows. Westfield is a lovely little village and the park is right out the front window of the parkview. I like details, and the parkview did not disappoint on that level. The table was beautifully set and simply, tastefully decorated. The small, significant touches definitely made an impression on me. When my friend joined, he suggested the homemade chicken pot pie. The entire menu looked delicious and normally I wouldn't order a pot pie... but I trust my friend's palate and - he was right. Absolute deliciousness. I can't wait to come back and try something else. And the staff - wonderful, attentive, and kind.

Creamy Chicken Noodle and Smoked Gouda and Tomato. We could have eaten a gallon of each. Both were piping hot and bursting with flavor. Went on to order the Reuben that was loaded with corned beef and presented an amazing Swiss cheese pull. If we lived closer we'd come often. Do not miss this opportunity.

I would get the sea scallops over the Capelletti, but both were very good. My halibut was cooked perfectly. Next time I want to try that beetroot pavé, it sounds great. We also shared the baked Alaska, note that is not lit on fire for you. I wish they sold the spiced chocolate ice cream separately. I would absolutely buy a tub to take home. It was amazing. The waiter was very kind and there was a nice welcoming, non-stuffy feeling to the restaurant. I wish they advertised soda products, especially for people who don't drink alcohol. Even during the fancy dinner sometimes a good pop hits the spot.

As soon as we entered we were greeted and seated upstairs in a lovely quaint dining room. Our waiter Kyle came over and explained the menu options. We both ordered cocktails and decided to try the tasting menu. It was a great decision as we enjoyed everything that was placed in front of us. While everything was amazing, my favorite dish that evening was the salmon with the perfectly crispy skin and the pork loin/pork belly. The amazing service provided by Kyle, the ambiance, quality ingredients and amazing pairing of the ingredients made for an unforgettable meal and I can't wait to return to Quatrefoil. If you like French cooking, I highly suggest you give this establishment a try...and for amazing service, ask for Kyle.

The prices are really reasonable for the quality and service here! We went here several times…read moreduring our visit. We didn't stay at the hotel, but got a nice tour of it and liked how many nooks there are to read or play games in, how different rooms/floors are Shakespeare-themed, etc. It seemed very well thought out - not just another basic hotel chain. Steel Cut Porridge: If you love dessert for breakfast, this is excellent. The banana is caramelized (flambeed?) and the oats are perfectly cooked and sweetened with the birch syrup. I got this twice and it's just the right amount. Avocado Parfait: This was weird, but edible and very filling. I wouldn't get it again - the avocado was a weird choice. Like a sweet guacamole? Pain au Chocolat: Fresh and warm, a little soft (I like them a little more crispy on the outside and soft inside). Decent amount of quality chocolate inside. Crispy Smoked Bacon: Okay this one was maybe not as well priced as you only get three pieces of bacon, but it was tasty and I didn't have any regrets. Thin cut, wide, fatty slices. Maple Breakfast Sausage: No complaints, nothing too special, so it was a little pricey at three sausages. Better of course dipped in maple syrup! Bruce Blend Tea: This was quality black tea, but also just okay for me personally. I appreciate that they tell you how long the tea should be steeped and give you a timer for it. Apricot Tea: I liked this a lot on its own, but I liked it even more with some maple syrup, which made it taste like peach rings. Lychee Tea: This was nice and also I liked it better with a little maple syrup. Fabulous service. On weekends you get hot towels, which I thought was kind of funny. There is a path just outside that leads to the Stratford Festival Theatre, which is nice. I don't know that I could afford to stay at the hotel, but I would definitely come back to the restaurant.

I boycotted this place years ago when the amazing chef Rose was let go and the place went downhill…read morefrom there. It's never been the same. I gave it a try again though and my food came to me frozen in the middle (battered mushrooms). Then a short while after that the business was shut down by Public Health for multiple health and safety violations (i.e. mouse feces everywhere!!!). This is a true story - not making it up! Fastforward to last night: my mom, along with 2 best friends, took my daughter there for dinner. They arrived at 6 pm. I arrived at 6:50 pm after I finished working to pick up my daughter. They had not received their food at that point. My mom informed me that other customers had arrived after them and had been served and received their meals. I asked the couple sitting in the next booth when they arrived and they advised me their arrival time was between 6:15 - 6:30. They were eating a medium-sized pizza and a burger and fries. My mom and her friends ordered 3 panzerrotis and my daughter ordered a personal sized pizza. Their table had not been asked, 50 minutes in, if they needed a drink refill. I was not asked if I wanted anything upon my arrival. I asked to speak with the manager and was told to speak to Jeanie. She was clearly not impressed with my questions about why my family had not been served yet. She was short in her responses, irritable and providing me with poor excuses for their even poorer service. I was told that since some of the food was deep-fried it took longer as one example. However, other tables had deep-fried items and they literally finished their meals and left while we were still waiting. A woman came out of the kitchen and tried to explain that the food items ordered took longer and they were backed up. I call bulls*it! I asked another server to please refill the drinks. It felt like they were all avoiding our table because they knew we were not impressed. Not one of us was being rude. I work with people in my job and a little common courtesy and respect will go a long way! If there is an issue that lies within the responsibility of the restaurant, then own it! The food arrived finally at 7:17 pm Other customers around us were becoming upset too. My daughter's pizza did not look complicated at all to make. She ate most of it but only because she was so hungry! There was a younger girl working named Carly who was absolutely amazing and running her behind off to keep up. She was very accommodating and repeatedly apologizing for what was happening. Not her fault at all. Keep up the great work Carly! As for the rest of the crew, please get a better control on what is happening in the establishment. The service was horrible and your attitudes and customer service was brutal. As long-time Doverites, we are all seriously disappointed and not one of us will return. If I could give this place a ZERO star I would.
