Always have a pleasant cashier. Prices are comparable to other stores. Of course, I wish food was cheaper.

I just want to say how nice everyone is! I usually shop at Aldi's or Dierbergs due to being Keto and the selections they offer to be a better variety compared to Schnucks. However, I did not that Schnucks has lowered prices. I also noticed they are getting in new items like fresh zoodles - not the frozen ones. When I went to check out at the self check out the young worker at customer service was actively helping customer's enter their produce and being very sweet to everyone coming through. She continued to go above and beyond for everyone using the self check outs. read more

AFTER I WAS 90% done with checking myself out she approached me and start dumping my groceries out of the sack and said she cannot allow me to finis, because I had more than 15 items. Schnucks is reliable and I am never disappointed. When I come here I know that I am going to be able to find what I need and where it is located in the store. There is a nice selection of produce, fresh meats and sea food. The wine selection is pretty vast for a grocery store. There is almost a whole isle dedicated to wine. If you can't find something you like you might be too picky or have really expensive taste. The cost goes from inexpensive to moderate. I don't think I have seen anything over $35 or so. If beer is what you are looking for there is a decent selection with most standards and a few gems. The liquor selection is solid as well. The patrons are mostly fine, but I avoid going when I know families will be there because kids tick me off when their parents don't control them. Plus I hate it when the isles jam up because some idiot doesn't understand flow. Move your damn cart so someone can get through! Why can't some people just pay attention? Rant over. This store is open until midnight or so and I can get what I need pretty much when I need it. The store is clean and the staff is nice. I come here on a frequent basis and the checks know my face. The floral department is good too. If you are looking for an arraignment they have an variety in the cooler waiting for you. If you need a quick bouquet on the go, they have a nice selection. If you want to put something together yourself, go nuts. I like the roses because they seem to last and the daisies too. They also offer delivery. I like this location a lot. read more

I always go to Dierbergs across the street and second-guessed myself one day why I was not going to Schnucks which is clearly closer to my house. After going in it definitely seems a little bit more rundown than other Schnucks I've been to and during rush hour on a Wednesday they only had two people checking out with a massive line. It didn't seem like they had lack of employees there is just a lot of employees standing around not doing anything rather than helping and jumping in on bagging or checking people out. Visited this location today in Saint Charles on Zumbehl, in the deli section the male name working was Dylan. When I walked up Dylan was cracking jokes with another coworker, as I stood there the other worker walked away. Dylan looks at me and says I'll be right with you and proceeds to get two different types of meat out of the refrigerator compartment, slices the meat and put them where the overstock areas are for people to just come and go. Then comes to me and says what can I get you? I asked him why did he not service me first before he did that?? His response was I did not think you was ready!! So I let him know his conduct was highly offensive. On top of that after I told him the lunch meat I wanted he puts it on the slicer without even wiping it off from the meat he just slices!! How disgusting! I walked away to find a store manager who's name was Jill, after I tell her about Dylan's behavior she instantly takes up for him saying well he must had somebody else in front of me. I stopped her letting her know, no he was not doing anything when I walked up!! That's when she said oh I'll talk to him. This whole situation is despicable and disappointing!! read more

Staff is friendly,but the restrooms are disgusting! I wouldn't particularly visit this particular store unless I absolutely have to. They don't have as much variety on products as the other stores and it seems a bit smaller. Their aisles seem unorganized and their set up is odd. read more

Schnucks has always been my go to store. Recently I moved back to Missouri and I found this location closest to my home. I love the layout consistency in each store, generally everything is in the same place at every location so there is no issues navigating everything and questioning where something is. Huge selection of baked goods and great hot meals. Shout out to the manager on duty last night. They didn't have a certain size formula I needed for my 3 month old but had it in a double pack so he accepted both of my checks I got from the retailer to make up for the missing item. So I saved a lot of money last night. They have great customer service, and not to mention, their rewards program is definitely a great feature. They also partner with instacart to provide a delivery service to their customers who can't leave their homes!! Totally worth it. read more

I ordered online for pickup, I ordered a pledge dust and allergen, they brought out to me twice a normal lemon pledge. Then the manager then began to say how they didn't have it so they can only give me this. Knowing that their online choices is different then In store and they have this problem all the time, made me waste my time to come up after already charging my card, knowingly giving me the wrong item and how unprofessional that manager really handled that. 0/10 never again. read more

The Pharmacy here is horrible. No matter how far in advance the prescription is called in , when you get there to pick it up the pharmacist will still be "checking it". Within one week 3 prescription and a minimum of 10hrs advance, it's been the same with no other customers waiting. Customer service in pharmacy is none existent at best. They know you need a prescription and just don't care or are completely understaffed. Regardless, I would never take a prescription there. read more

First and last time shopping there. Grabbed milk, orange juice, and frozen vegetables on the way home. We thought that the service and selection would be better than Wally's. Seriously WRONG!! Into the self-check line where the vegetables wouldn't scan. The "sedentary" clerk glanced over and said, "Try again". I did. Nada. My wife told her we were having problems with the scanner. She didn't even shrug and to be absolutely clear, offered not one iota of help. Must be why Schnucks thinks they are so friendly - you never can interact with their well-trained, overpaid custodians - blah. I ordered a boutonniere and corsage about 10 days in advance of my parents' 60 wedding anniversary in person at the florist @ this location. On the pick-up date there were no flowers and no paperwork for my order! I was frustrated as I had enough to do that day and felt I had avoided any mishaps like this by ordering in person. Fortunately, the florist working that day said she could make them up in about 20 minutes. I told her I would come back and pick the flowers up on my way to the party. When I arrived to pick them up they were perfect but I asked to speak to the store manager. I explained what had happened and asked the if I could get a discount for my trouble. The mgr offered to give me a couple of "sorry bucks", you can use them just like cash in the store.
