I love finding little shops like this that have homemade items for you to try out. I will say it is a little pricey, but of course that's what you get when you get clean, handmade products. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I did smell this one scent that had oatmeal in it and it smelled so good but unfortunately it was all out. They are able to add you to an email list to let you know when things are back in stock, which is great.

For a casual stop, there was nothing that stood out for me to pick up, however, with plenty of friends and family who collect things like John Deer, Betty Boop, I Love Lucy, and sports merchandise, the Gift Nook will certainly make my list of places to stop in for my holiday shopping. The man running the shop was also a very pleasant man, eager to help and he added a lot of character to the shop.

Someone in my household has skin sensitivities and we often order soap products from a company nearby who also produces all-natural soaps. Since we've found this place, I've been coming here to buy their soaps instead! My favorite is their lip products: the butterfly and honey kisses especially. They're petroleum-free and based on the listed ingredients, I would say they're also gluten-free. They also leave my lips feeling soft but not in a greasy kind of way. My lips have not been feeling chapped even in the crazy winter conditions since I switched to only using their lip balms. They carry other beauty products as well. I love the charcoal facial soap with tea tree oil. They always make my skin feel clean and since I have very oily skin, the charcoal actually has been helping. This shop really is wonderful. If you're into all-natural products, you need to check it out! I'm not into holistic stuff but I do tend to avoid using excessive chemicals in my body if I can help it. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. Coming here is usually a joy in itself!
