To put it simply, they were stunning! From the wedding party bouquets/boutonnieres, to the tablescapes, to the outdoor arbors, everything was amazing. They truly elevated already beautiful venues into elegance I could not have imagined possible. I received countless compliments on the flowers throughout the evenings and all of the credit goes to Kristi and her staff. Not only did they execute what we asked for, but they thought of things we didn't, and added touches that were perfect. Our planning session were also great. Honestly, my photos speak for themselves. My boyfriend decided to surprise me and have flowers delivered to my work as a thank you gift. He made sure to order the "Premium" arrangement (the highest quality offered with the greatest number of stems). Here is a photo of the expectation of what was advertised vs reality of what I received. He paid $70 in all for this bouquet. We could have hand made a better bouquet of flowers by buying two grocery store bunches and combining the best blooms from them. We are extremely disappointed. My colleague tells me that The Flower Stop is usually known for great bouquets. Well, this was not it. We understand that substitutions are not uncommon, but the bouquet I wound up with is more than 50% greenery! This was not a case of minor substitution, this was a case of false advertisement. I received 4 roses, 2 unopened lily buds, a small handful of carnations, purple statice, and the other half is greenery. The advertised bouquet is more than 30 full blooms. We wound up with a $20 bouquet at the most. We are moving to Cottleville in October from the Winghaven area and will not be using The Flower Stop in the future if this is the quality we can expect. We would not recommend this florist to anyone. And when it comes time for the major special occasions in our lives, we will go to a business that provides a better service. read more

DON'T STOP AT THE FLOWER STOP I received an email notification telling me my very overpriced flowers had been delivered to my aging grandmother... I contact grandma and she's like, "What flowers?" Four hours later, the delivery driver calls and tells me no one was home when they tried to deliver earlier in the day and that they'd try again after Christmas. No attempt to call me or grandma (both numbers were required with the order). Interesting. This company is totally bush league. Don't trust them to deliver anything. They'll say it was delivered even when it wasn't! You're better off using Schnucks or Dierbergs!!! And don't use FTD, they contract these clowns out! UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Liz... she confirmed my suspicions that this place is total amateur hour. Horrrrrible customer service. She kept talking over me. Our conversation ended with her agreeing with me that Dierbergs and Schnucks would be better options for the future. This is a flower shop is packed full of beautiful flowers and gifts. I was in for the first time on Oct. 2nd to pick up a corsage for our sons first homecoming, I had driven past them before but had never checked it out - so glad I did. Anyway, when I picked up the corsage I was slightly under whelmed - the white roses were more of an off white and not what I had in mind. Without hesitation I was asked what they could do to make it better so I asked if they could make it a little bigger and make it look more of a bright white. I chose this shop without looking at Yelp (my mistake!). My first issue was with customer service. They called to change my delivery date (I had chosen Memorial Day, so understandable), but when I tried to call back, I got a full voicemail when I tried both phone numbers. That happened like 5 times before I finally got a live person. She didn't know what I was talking about, so basically just asked whoever else was there if they knew about the call I had received, to which they all said no. But she said she would take care of it, and thank goodness it worked out. My main issue is with the work itself...the first bouquet is what I ordered, and the second picture is what was delivered. I understand it can't be exactly the same, but these two hardly even look similar. From the pink roses instead of white, to that cheesy bow! These flowers were for my mother-in-law who is celebrating her 50th wedding anniversary after her husband passed away several years ago. Very disappointing! The shop disregarded the "Special Instructions" resulting in a delivery time at the end of the school day when the teachers are preparing for pickup. My daughter sent me a birthday bouquet. It came a day late, I'm certain because of the weather being so bad. When I did receive it, I saw that the flowers were not fresh and frankly weren't "arranged". Each kind of flower was put in the ugly vase in their own group without arranging. After just two days (after making sure the water was fresh) this is what it looks like. I have received other bouquets from a different source that had stayed fresh and beautiful for up to ten days. I called to order flowers for a high school dance that I would pick-up same day. I told them I would be there between 4:30-5:00 to pickup. They said that was fine. I arrived at 4:55 and the shop was closed. Online hours said open until 6:00, the door stated open until 5:00. I called both phone numbers, knocked on both doors. A neighbor nearby said she saw the owner leaving 10 minutes prior. The shop called two days later to find out why I hadn't picked up my order and when I told her about the store closing early, she didn't really care. No apology, interrupted me and seemed bothered that she had to call. Poor customer service. Would never go here or recommend. After years of doing business with The Flower Stop they have lost my business. I live in Texas and have ordered flowers for my Mom and Grandma who both live in the St. Charles / St. Louis area for birthdays and Mother's Day from this florist for around six years, but not any longer. Since the business was sold to a florist called "Bloomers" I have noticed that customer service has taken a nosedive, but what's worse is that the quality of work has gone far downhill. I ordered flowers for my Mom's birthday in April. I have added photos to this review: one is what I ordered as shown on The Flower Stop's link to Telaflora and another that is a photo of what was actually delivered. The arrangement and delivery cost a total of $74.95, which is fine because it's my Mom. The Flower Stop did call to let me know they would need to substitute the container because the one shown online was unavailable and I was fine with this. The flowers were delivered and my Mom called and said she liked them. I was curious about what the substitution was for the container so I had her send me a picture. Forget the substitution of the container, the floral part of the arrangement was NOTHING like what I believed I was ordering. There were no lilies at all, and there was no attempt to even come close to the colors as shown in the Telaflora photo. The execution was poor and not at all worth the $60+ I paid (the price before delivery fee). After seeing the picture, I was pretty pissed off. I called but was nice about it and explained the situation since I'd trusted this business for so many years... for floral arrangements I needed to send back home they were my "go to" place to call. The associate took my info and the next day I was contacted and told I'd get a partial refund. I thought that was fair. Here we are, almost a month later, no partial refund has posted to my account. The phone often goes to voicemail when calling this business; I don't have time to screw around with the owners and staff over this. I'm taking my business elsewhere for Mother's Day and going forward. The Flower Stop / Bloomers completely lost my trust and that really upsets me because I believe in supporting small businesses, whether they are where I live in Texas or elsewhere. read more

I was a recipient of flowers from The Flower Stop. The bouquet was gorgeous - really gorgeous, but what the five star rating is really for is the service. My sisters ordered flowers from out of town, and had them sent to my home. Since I work during the day, The Flower Stop tried to deliver there, as well as trying to find neighbors to accept them, with no luck. They looked up my phone number, which wasn't on the order, called and apologized (not their fault!), and made arrangements to deliver to my workplace, which was 15 miles away. The hydrangeas were brown when the flowers were picked up and while they put in Stargazer Lilly blooms in the arrangement they never opened and were dead in two days. The roses, while a pretty color turned brown in two days and died. It just seems that the flowers were old when they were put in the arrangement. I have had flowers last much longer from a grocery store and paid half the price. This was my go to florist for years but a few years ago the business was sold. I ordered a bouquet from FTD that was completed by the Flower Stop this past Friday, and was COMPLETELY disappointed with what I received. FTD allows you to purchase 3 different levels of any of their bouquets - good, better or best. I ordered the Deluxe or "Better" version and unfortunately what they delivered was not even of the quality shown in the "good" picture. The flowers were delivered as a gift, and looked so sparse when delivered that I had to go to Dierbergs and buy additional flowers to make the bouquet presentable. (which does, of course, defeat the purpose of having flowers delivered in the first place). I have lost faith in both FTD and the Flower Stop after this very poor experience. read more

NEXT day, flowers are delivered by an EXTREMELY rude woman who asked my name then shoved an unwrapped half dead vase of flowers in my face and said "Here!" then stormed off. The roses were loosing petals and there were no iris, just a bunch a filler that looked like it was pulled from the side of the road while it was en route.
