Pickup was a breeze, they have great signage to direct you where to park, once you get parked there's a sign with phone number to call to let associates know you're there & what parking space # you're in. The associates came out quickly, loaded all of my groceries, and even had me check the chicken breasts to make sure they were to my liking. The last 7 years we have started buying our produce at Whole Foods diets to the fact their produce is much much better than Dierbergs and for the same cost. Today I called and asked about ground veal. Spoke with the meat department and had them set aside the last 3 packages. My husband went to the store half an hour later to pick up the veal. No one knew what was going on, other than to tell him the meat person we spoke to was on lunch and he would have to wait half an hour for him to come back. Hubby had a manager get involved, who was a. Self stated "grocery guy" that was acting manager. We spoke and I pointed out the ridiculous situation . He eventually found the ground veal. Does no one have any pride anymore? My question for Dierbergs corporate "how many bad reviews will you tolerate, and lost business before someone takes notice"? Dierbergs has gotten so expensive and the quality so poor, you are better off going to Aldi and Whole Foods for your groceries. Thank you to the "grocery guy" who helped out. It was nice to browse through their produce section and grab the items I needed. Then I went to the baking section looking for some almond flour, baking soda, cornstarch and other baking products. I also needed to get some sea salt and kosher salt which I found easily. I was really glad they had lots of the milk options I needed and they even had the kodiak waffles I was looking for! I found some of the other items I needed and made my way to the front of the store to check out. I decided not to use the self checkout since I had a few too may items, so I waited in line to check out at a register which took a while since there were a lot of other people there today. When it was my turn, I unloaded things onto the belt and then made my way to the bagging station since there was not anyone there to bag my items so I bagged things myself. Then I was on my way.

Plenty of protein choices to make a nutritionally rich meal. And, they have also have a few pasta favorites. I love the noodles with the little peas (shown in my pic). Lots of good salad dressings. My salad weighed in at exactly 1 pound. At $8.99/lb that is pretty competitive to your fast food choices as well. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Stores are always brightly lit, clean and inviting. Kudos to Schnucks for making their salad bar so accessible, nutritious and yummy!

I'm convinced the checkers must be in the break room, hiding under the covers and incessantly hitting the snooze button. It's just weird, really. But, alas, I'm not a morning person either. Today there was an entire shelf of meat products- pre packaged by the manufacturer for half price. When I got to the check out the cashier refused to sell the ones in my cart but was fine with selling me the discounted expired eggs. Absolutely the unfriendliest stores in town. One of these days I really will stop dropping in on my way home from work to pick stuff.

Its kind of hard for me to rate this. There's some things I like about it and some things I don't. I like that they have almost everything I'd expect them to have, I like their prices, and I like that I have from time to time gotten some really good deals on things or I have been able to find things here that I haven't been able to get elsewhere. I also like that their aisles are laid out in a pattern that makes sense to me, unlike most other Schnucks. However, unlike other Schnucks, I don't like the store physically. It seems like the smallest Schnucks I know, and there's just something about the low ceiling in this one that makes it seem like an inferior grocery store; I can't explain why. So there's some good and some bad about this one. I guess if you are coming from Jefferson County or its close to where you live, it could be your go-to grocery store, but if you are coming from closer to St. Louis and coming here is out of your way, it might not seem so good.

I have family in this area and they have been drinking these and raving about them. I couldn't find them anywhere in the STL metro area, so one day I took a scenic drive out to this Price Chopper. The store is designed well, the aisles were all clean and there was a nice setup. I was excited to see pricing was aligned with what I'm used to (sometimes in rural areas small stores inflate pricing a bit). The liquor section was nicely stocked and had it's own little cove which made it easy for me to find what I was looking for. The check out employee was friendly and got me in and out.
