They will keep them as long as insurance will allow, regardless of the child's needs. They don't allow them to continue prescribed medications and will prescribed all new stuff, half of which is meant to sedate them. Our pharmacist and pediatrician were alarmed by the amount of different antihistamines she'd been given. The experience was traumatic for the child and our family.
