I've dealt with blood pressure concerns for several years, and while my specialist considered my readings acceptable, my nephrologist had a different perspective. What truly surprised me was when my nephrologist office reached out directly to my specialist to collaborate on my care. I've never been aware of my physicians communicating so proactively to address a medical issue, and it has made a meaningful difference. It took up the whole of the third floor. And had various practitioners. My practitioner was actually a nurse practitioner who was truly amazing. well, let me not get to that. Let me start at the beginning. They had just started a new system for check-in that wasn't working. It was giving me problems and I was getting frustrated and the customer service was immaculate and they helped me it was very attentive. The nurse practitioner, and all of her staff treated me with such respect and kindness. I would completely recommend this place and go back many times over. they gave me a good treatment, plan and adequate medication to alleviate my symptoms . Plus the follow up call from my practitioner was such an awesome feeling. The office is dated in some areas, but who cares. I prioritize care over Albis and feng shui.

The sciatica pain I tolerated for over 15 years was totally taking over my entire life. I could stand nor walk without severe pain. I came to see Dr. Jolley. He took the time to explain to me what he could do to eradicate my condition and help alleviate the pain. I understood what had to be done, and agreed to the procedure. As soon as I was awake, I already noticed that the sciatic pain was gone, even though I was in pain from surgery. After 4 hours, I was sitting up. After 6 hours I was standing and walking. After 1 week, I was able to walk up to 1/4 mile, and after 2 weeks, I was up to a mile. NO Sciatic pain! About 3.5 months after surgery I was climbing a rock wall, and doing other activities that I wasn't able to do for many years. Dr. Jolley has a wonderful demeanor and bedside manner. I felt he really cared and his true desire was to help me. I was able to go hiking again, and go on two mission trips, no to mention...keep up with my grandchildren.

They lady that did the insurance and financial part was extremely friendly. I think her name was Michelle but I'm not certain. She informed us that MRI was running a hour behind. It was pouring and pretty miserable outside. We chose to wait in the lobby. It was by far one of the most comfortable waiting rooms I've been to. One hour later I was called to go back and get started. I've had multiple mri's so I know what to expect. The girl was very helpful once she realized I am visually impaired. She was calm, direct, and very descriptive when walking me back and during entire procedure. Overall pretty good experience. If I had been on a timeline that could have been an issue. I never have time expectations with medical appointments.

Went to see Dr. Barker in February for a first time annual check up. I was a little scared since it…read morewas my first time having a male obgyn but he was nothing but professional and caring. He proceeded with all my examinations very gently and he asked a lot of questions about my previous conditions, my relationship, general health, hobbies, how was I treated by my husband, any other complications etc. He referred me to a general surgeon that also helped me with a 'hernia' like problem I was presenting at the moment. I went back for a consultation today, I needed help getting some labs done for a general wellness checkup and he asked me how was my hernia appointment with the doctor he referred me to, how was our adjustment to TN since we moved from FL and it was very shocking to me because all the doctors I've been to, never ask follow up questions like these. Dr. Barker has very mixed reviews on google, so I never really expected much from him, but he is a very thoughtful and kind person. He trully cares about his patients and takes his time writing and reviewing notes from/for your appointment. The staff in the office are very efficient and helpful with anything you need, they changed my pharmacy with no problem when I called them a month or so ago, accept electronic copies of insurance cards, hassle free environment. The doctors offices are very clean and tidy. I would totally reccomend Dr. Barker to anyone who needs obgyn care. I will be making an appointment for my mom for her annual visit.
