Food was decent, service was incredibly slow and they missed part of our order. Waited twenty minutes for two sandwiches and a fruit cup we never got with no line ahead of us. Server put a pickle in the bag and barely wrapped it so it soaked the napkins and the bottom of the bag and got on everything. read more

My wife and I ate lunch there today. The food is always great but The young lady that took our order was over the top. She was polite and friendly. While we were eating lunch she's walking around cleaning up tables, she was so happy, singing with a hurt ankle. She did not let that hurt ankle keep her at home. Either you'll be missing half your order or charged incorrectly 3x because they will not listen to you. This location is an embarrassment to the corporate company and should be shut down. The employees are extremely rude and rude and will even curse at you. Called the store to speak to a manager and was told to call back later because they didn't want to deal with my issues. Take me out to the ball game, just don't take me to Scholtsky's anymore. Its was one, two, three strikes their out... at ole Scholtsky's. In one week Scholtsky's managed to get three strikes from me. Once, my most coveted sandwich place and most sought after place to open in Shawnee. They have really dropped the ball. Strike One: Last week as I was waiting for this location to open, my birthday reward expired and I could not claim my birthday reward. Strike Two: The reward app was not working properly and failed to give me "A Bite" I earned. Strike Three: Today the line at the drive through was short so I stopped with about 4 cars in front of me to the window, 3 minutes pass and the car in front of me drove away. So I pulled up to the speaker. a minutes passes, then the voice says "Hold on a Moment" If a moment equals a minute: 5 pass by. I sneeze, "Bless You" the voice says. Well I guess that was considerate at least. What followed next was a conversation that lasted about five minutes about, cars and receipts, that I could hear over the speaker between to employees. I asked politely, "Are you ready for my order?" no response. Followed by more conversations about voids and receipts. The service here is aweful. The employees are rude and every time I have eaten here my order has been messed up. I have received sandwiches that were missing half of the meat, no olives, and one order where the sandwich was barely wrapped and just thrown in the bag, where it just came apart. I have spoken with the manager about these issues and received the same rude attitude and no apology for an obvious mistake on the employees part. I use to love eating at other slotskys locations, but frankly this location has cost them my business. read more

I went to the Shawnee location for my first time, and I will not be back. I got home and my order was all wrong. I ordered a regular original, and I have no idea what they gave me but it was not their original. I did not get the turkey sandwich I ordered and they forgot my potato soup. This restaurant hasn't been open long but they need more training. The line at the drive-thru was so long and the parking lot so crowded there was no way I was going back to ask for my chips they cheated me out of and some ice for the hot tea they served me instead of the iced tea I ordered. There was a long line to order when we arrived, but that was okay. Once it was our turn, I chose the Choose Two option with a salad and the chicken tortilla soup, which was on the menu. The clerk even asked me if I wanted tortilla strips on it, and I did. My daughter ordered a Choose Two also with potato soup (she asked for no chives) and a sandwich with toppings of her choice (only turkey, cheese, and ranch -- no veggies). After a pretty long wait, our food arrived. My daughter!/ soup had chives on it, and my "tortilla soup" had potatoes, carrots, etc. When I asked the server if it was, in fact, tortilla soup, he didn't know. Then he said he thought maybe tortilla had been switched out for another type, but he wasn't sure. ??? He offered to bring me another type, but the only kind I wanted was tortilla -- not the garden vegetable that I received. I would've ordered a completely different meal if I had known tortilla wasn't available. We were also charged an extra 99 cents (on top of the $8.49 for the Choose Two) for the cheese on my daughter's sandwich, even though she ordered hers with fewer ingredients than the standard menu options.
