The location here in San Angelo is the worst Schlotzsky's Ive ever eaten at. We have/ had been eating at Schlotzsky's since their very early days but the quality of the food, ESPECIALLY their bread, is nowhere near what it used to be. When suggesting to the 'manager' that he might need to check the food before being served his comment was "I cant be everywhere at once". Lol, so sad but so typical of so many businesses now, in San Angelo.

Sausage & Peppers Calzone

I had the strange American rendition of a calzone in this place with a strange name in San Angelo. It smelt as if there had been a serious fire in the kitchen, and the smell lingered on me. I had their overpriced sausage & peppers calzone, which comes with two whole cups of ranch. The bread was very tasty as it was a soft garlic bread. When I eat a hefty American meal, my goal is to feel fat and happy. Instead, I felt fat and indifferent. It did taste very good in the beginning. Maybe good for only a small portion. We got our food quickly.

Great friendly service- called in the order- it was perfect, hit and timely. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!

No bacon, no Smokey cheese & not what I ordered & paid for.

Ordered a beef bacon Smokey cheesy - received an original, called and gave them the ticket # and drove the 20 minutes back, the young lady outside took our receipt, then ask if it was from today, Someone else brought out the sandwich, apologized & I did a quick check, saw no veggies & drove the 40 minutes home. Does this look like the sandwich I paid for and made 2 trips to get? We stop by there occasionally, first time to have this type of problem

We had been talking for weeks about eating at Schlotzky's and finally had the opportunity to do so. We were very excited and ordered a large number of different sandwiches to try. We had eaten there years ago and loved it. Upon arriving home, we got our sandwiches and began to eat. The bread was awful. It was like eating a tasteless dry sponge. The sandwiches had very little sauce, so it didn't help the bread any. The meat was of good quality. We ended up taking the meat off of the sandwiches and putting it on our own bread along with our own sauce to make edible sandwiches. We don't feel we got our money's worth and will not be going to Schlotzsky's again.

I haven't been to Schlotzky's in YEARS!! I will definitely be back. Our food was so good. I'm pleasantly surprised! I had the pick 2 with chicken tortilla soup and Tuscan sandwich. I didn't expect the soup to be so good, but it is ALMOST as good as what I would make at home. The sandwich was perfect with the soup; lots of yummy turkey chunks and avocado I can't wait to bring the kids here to try the mac and cheese.

Dead flies on window sill.

Food tasted okay? But the place is over run by flies! They also need to clean dead flies out of the window sill! Makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is..,,

Yummy. Very good, fast and clean. I'm wondering if I would prefer the sandwich to be run through twice to get it extra toasty.

The food was okay, not as good as it used to be. WAAAAY over priced for what you get. We won't be going back anytime soon.

Just ordered from door dash. They sent the wrong soup and my cinnamon bun was so hard and stale I couldn't even try to eat it

Arrived at Jason's, and there was a line more than halfway to the door. This might take a while because I noticed only one person taking orders. Before you know it, I was next to order. Then I saw a hand wave above the cash register, motioning me to come over. That's when I noticed they have three areas open to take orders, and two of them are, let's say, not very tall people. Their heads were lower than the cash registers. You could not see them, but that line disappeared really quickly. Anyway, I placed my order, 100% Whole Grain Wheat Bread Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Soup, and a Diet Dr Pepper drink. The lady replied back my order and asked what kind of soup, Tomato Basil or Bla,Bla,Ble,Ble,Blaw. I asked her to repeat that, and she said, Tomato Basil or Bla,Bla,Ble,Ble,Blaw. I said, I'm sorry, could you repeat the last part. She said, Bla,Bla,Ble,Ble,Blaw. I then said, Tomato Basil Soup will be fine. For the life of me, I could not understand what kind of soup Bla,Bla,Ble,Ble,Blaw was, and I don't know if that sounded good or not. But I do know Tomato Basil Soup is a good soup. FYI, the 100% Whole Grain Wheat Bread has two-slices of Cheddar Cheese and one-slice (in the center) of Muenster Cheese. That really sounds gooeygoodness to me. I grabbed my cup and number, filled my cup with Diet Dr Pepper (the Texas Coke), and located a table. This place is really busy with only a couple tables open. When one table is available, their Table-Cleaner is right there preparing it for the next customer. That is Service at its Best. Nicely done Jason. In a couple of minutes, my order arrived, and the Tomato Basil Soup was served in a Kettle Bowl style with Chunks of Tomato throughout and melted Chedder Cheese on top. Not what the picture showed on-line, and that looked delicious, and this looks better - Love It. However, the Grilled Cheese Sandwich is cut into small quarters. This 100% Whole Grain Wheat Bread is one-tiny-slice, but nicely toasted. Peeked inside for the cheese, and it's only a small dab of yellow and white. This is not a "Brylcreem Commercial" where a 'Little Dab Will Do Ya', it's a Grilled Cheese Sandwich, and I'm looking for the Cheese. I do not see how this could be three-slices, which doesn't even go to the edge of the toast. The Tomato Basil Soup is absolutely Delicious and Flavorful, and loving those chunks of tomatoes. Love That Soup. The 100% Whole Grain Wheat Bread is toasted perfectly and has the perfect crunch in every bite. Once in a while, you could actually taste a little cheese, but not often. The only thing I was disappointed in was their Grilled Cheese Sandwich with very little cheese. Other than that, I enjoyed my lunch and loved their Tomato Basil Soup. When I left, there was still a line, and it was moving pretty fast. Now I'm wondering what that Bla,Bla,Ble,Ble,Blaw soup was and how it tasted. I didn't see it on the menu board, so it must be something new they are trying. Maybe next time I will order it, but with something other than the Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Check out a Jason's Deli near you, and if they have it, try the Bla,Bla,Ble,Ble,Blaw soup and let me know how it taste.

I spoke with a gentleman and told him what was happening with my app and the coupon and he said he would take my order over the phone and apply the coupon when I arrived for pickup. Once I arrived and tried to pay the young lady working said oh it's not working because you did not purchase a 2 shareable items. Mind you nowhere on the menu does it show shareable items. I looked over and over it, I had order a full sandwich for me with potato salad and a full sandwich for my hubby with a side of fruit! The coupon would not work so I asked her to cancel my order. I ended up leaving the restaurant, mind you they had already made my order. So they ended up losing a customer for life.

After looking over the menu my Wife decided on the "Pecanberry Salad"; Spring Mix Lettuce, Fresh Strawberries & Blueberries, Candied Pecans & Grilled Chicken. I am having the "McAlister's Club"; Roasted Turkey, Black Forest Ham, BACON, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Swiss Cheese, Spring Mix Lettuce, Tomato Mayo & McAlister's Honey Mustard on Toasted Wheat Bread. Served with a Pickle Spear & Chips. My Wife is having Iced Water with Lemon and I'm going with the Lemonade & Iced Tea drink. The Group grabbed some tables for all of us while we ordered. Soon our food started arriving and McAlister's is pretty quick in preparing what was ordered and served on square plates - and a Very Nice Presentation of Deliciousness. My Wife's 'Pecanberry Saladty' is Very Colorful with three-containers. A Nice-Size Salad and lots of Tastylicious Dressing. My Wife Loved her Salad, said it was Crisp, Tasty and Very Flavroful - and a lot. She took some home along with two-containers of dressing. My 'McAllisters Club' was also Very Delicious with lots of Meat & Cheese stacked up. It also was a touch of Sweetness that really added to the flavors and the Toast was Toasted All-The-Way-Through for that Perfect Crunch. I ate all of mine because that's what I do. Check out a McAlister's Deli near you. They have 107 locations in Texas and are in a bunch of other States as well. It was great getting together with everyone for an Afternoon Movie and McAlister's Deli for Dinner. McAlister's is the place to go with lots of choices on the Menu. On the way back home my Lovely Wife and I cruised in the Vette-Jet with the top down enjoying yet another Beautiful San Angelo West Texas Day - with a slight breeze.
