Can I post a ZERO stars?!?!? This facility has been the rudest and worst experience ever. My…read morefather has been there for rehab for months, and although some of the PT staff has been friendly, the "nursing" staff can only be described as inadequate, incompetent, rude, dismissive, and incapable. We have begged for pain meds to be given HOURS past their doctor assigned times. After my father made no sense for three days, we insisted that he had a UTI. We finally took an at-home test for him because they refused-stating FROM HIS NURSE, Lynette, that they "haven't noticed ANY signs". Now that we shared the results that he DOES, in fact, have a UTI.... We were told no doctor was available. I could go on and on. I won't even bother to share the story of how a nurse told my mother to be "more patient because she was with other patients" sharply along with several other rude comments made by YoYo. This was after waiting 2.5 hours for pain meds for my father. Ugh. Bed sores are the worst I've ever seen. This place is a JOKE ZERO STARS - we were warned not to go here by a hospital staff , but our hands were tied because it's the only place my mother could drive to safely

I won't even give this place a 1 star! The facility is beautiful but the care is awful!!!!!!! My…read more90 year old mother-in-law with dementia was severely neglected! She stayed in wet diapers for hours, had back to back UTI's because of this and was neglected by staff! The CNA named Gabby put her in the bathroom only to walk away and refused to get her out when she was done. Took someone 45 minutes to get her!!!!That was while we were visiting her. What went on when we were gone???? I had family members come in from out of state only to sit and cry by the abuse they saw! The state should be on this place!!!!! Might I add I did threaten to call the state and then they kicked my mother-in-law out!!! How??? She kept falling and the hospital was into them as well. They said she was a liability to them and we transferred her! She is now happy with this new place! Couldn't say enough about the care they are giving her. I do need to stress that when my mother-in-law first went into Silver Tree, she was walking, independent and could do things on her own! That was just 2 years ago!!!!!!!!!!! The severe UTI's confused her and she kept falling! The last stint gave her a severe brain bleed where she was hospitalized and almost died! I would NOT have these people watch my dogs!!! The new administration with Kori is horrible! The billing is horrible!! Lastly, this administration never even said goodbye to her when she left even though they kicked her out!!!! If you are reading this, please stay far, far away!!!!!! They don't take care of your loved ones...they abuse them, take your money, and wait for them to die!!!!!!!

Let me tell you a little ditty about this vile witch. In 2002 I went into University Hospital in…read moreSan Antonio because my back, which had had surgery, was not allowing me to do my job. When she examined me, on the take, all of a sudden she told me to relax and violently pulled my leg. I guess it cause a tear in the hip joint, cause I have problems to this day. It was a malicious and an act of violence and criminal negligence. I guess I should have knocked her effin teeth out as self defense, but no. I didn't know anything about lawsuits, I was real young. Basic medical malpractice, her job description does not allow her to perform anything like the act she did. I should have called the police right there on the spot. This women is VILE.

After years of back problems and surgeries I went to Dr. Shriner for pain management. It took over…read more2 weeks just to get the appointment because she has to "approve" you before you've even seen her. She was the WORST doctor I've ever seen in my life, and I've seen many! She blamed everything on vitamins and discussed prescribing me a pain "patch". When I informed her my insurance has never and will never pay for the "patch" she prescribed it anyway. When my insurance, as I knew it would, refused to approve this "patch" this doctor and her staff refused to prescribe any other pain medication saying it was MY responsibility to find out what pain medications my insurance company would pay for. When this list was provided THAT day, I still did not get a pain medication, their excuse is they couldn't figure out what my insurance company would pay for...WTH?? After two weeks it was time for my appointment to determine how my new pain meds were working....and since I didn't get any I canceled the appointment. I was subsequently called at 6:15 PM by her assistant, Jennifer and was told if I didn't come to the appointment (and yes, pay ANOTHER $60 co-pay) she would never give me a pain med and that if I didn't attend the appointment then "you must be just out to get pain meds"...her words!!! When I asked her exactly what pain meds did Dr. Shriner prescribed she said she never would if I didn't show. I decided the pain I was going through was less pain that Dr. Shriner put me through!!!! HORRIBLE DOCTOR

This company consistently fails to pay workers on payday. As a home health provider, direct deposit…read moreis NOT offered as a way to receive your paycheck. It has to be picked up or mailed. I have requested to have my check picked up in person. Yesterday, I went to pick up my check and was told that it had been mailed. I have never authorized that. Apparently, the person in charge of payroll decided that because my address was 45 minutes away I would not be coming to pick up my check. This person never spoke to me to verify this, just assumed. So, on a Friday I did not receive my paycheck and it was in the mail, but that left me without any cash for the entire weekend. I expect companies to pay on payday. I expect companies to make my check available to me on payday instead of mailing it, especially when that was never discussed.

They constantly go back on their word. They never follow through with client complaints. They are completely dishonest about what services they provide and they will allow their staff to show up to a client's house and leave before the end of their shift and still bill the insurance for full days. Our insurance pays for two different shifts for different days each of which are either for 4 hours or 6 hours. We dealt with one of their nurses who would only show up for maybe an hour of her 4 or 6 hour shifts then just leave. She would also lie and tell us that she was only scheduled half days some days. Some days she would arrive, sit and do nothing, then leave. We continuously informed the company for months of her actions but they would not do anything about it till finally just before Thanksgiving (when no offices are open) and the end of our contract. This week has been a living hell with these people. They sent a new nurse (we've never met) who showed up late and walked into the house with no mask on and her lunch. She stated that she was told just to show up and do nothing so she figured she'd just eat lunch at a new clients house and not follow any proper decorum or safety protocols (my grandmother had copd and is on 24 hr oxygen so they need to wear masks at all times in the household) and it has all concluded with them just deciding to not show up for the rest of the contract with no notice. I still haven't received a call from them telling me they will not finish thier contract like they promised. Just 2 days so far of no shows. Whatever you do, if you choose to try this company do not tell them you do not plan to renew your contract unless you have a new company to start that very same day because they will screw you!

No staff was there to greet her or give her any guidance out her stay. She wound up having to urinate while lying in her bed and there for two hours until someone finally came in. During the week she was there she was unable to take a shower as her bathroom had no hot water. Several times her meals never showed up so she had to continually ask for food. When it came, it was cold. It was obvious it had been sitting for quite awhile. during the week she was there, she was given physical therapy only twice for thirty minutes each. The staff was all very unfriendly and apathetic. Unfortunately, I don't have one good thing to say about this institution.
