We drive from Normal, IL to have our Lincoln Serviced here as we do not trust Grossinger. Great staff: friendly, honest, and reasonable prices. We will continue to come here for all of service needs! read more

The facility exudes small business, with honest and attentive atmosphere. I bought a used Jeep with no trade in. I would have given 5-Stars but I conclude that I would have been better off buying one from one of the local Jeep dealers instead, due to the lacking product knowledge and support I received. In retrospect, supplement the information given on the vehicle you're planning to buy with thorough vehicle inspection for confirmation. Any shortcomings discovered and resolution requests after the sale would be Caveat Emptor-resolved. Other than this, the staff is hospitable. read more

Worked with Peyton the sales manager and Geysell. They were PERFECT. Extra helpful in the purchase. If it wasn't for their knowledge and ability to help me with any concerns, i would not have purchased the vehicle. 100% RECOMMEND read more

Scherer Lincoln Volvo - Car Dealers Near Me - Peoria, Illinois

I explained to the service advisor what I needed done on my 2003 Volvo XC 70 and he then proceeded to ask me what I wanted them to do for me. I then told him I wanted them to fix the things I just told him about and he then told me that their mechanics wouldn't be able to do the repairs because they had never worked on a Volvo XC 70 that old. One would think that a certified Volvo mechanic would be able to remove some suspension bushings and install the new ones. read more

I can to say enough wonderful things about Scherer Volvo! Beautiful showroom, Kind-hearted employees, and exceptional service. I will recommend Scherer Volvo and the Scherer automotive family to everyone. read more

They sold me a 2018 xc60 with just 20k miles with a bad tire/wheel. Car was vibrating and pulling to the right when I drove over 60mph as soon as I drove it off the lot on my way home from the dealership. When I tried to schedule an appointment to have it checked. They ignored me. Didn't return my calls. They didn't call me back until a month later. Then when they did take a look they totally blamed it on me said I hit the rims or something and told me the car had passed certified inspection so they won't take responsibility. I knew they're lying because when buying the car, the advertisement online didn't say 'certified pre-owed' but just 'used'. I wanted a certified car so when I called and asked if it can be certified they said they can get that done no problem at no additional cost. When I got there they said it's late today they can't submit paperwork to volvo for certification but they did all the certified inspection so I don't need to worry about it. They told me they'll send in the paperwork to volvo on Monday, 2 days after I buy it. I didn't think much of it since I thought they were an honest business. But I forgot I was dealing with a car dealership. My advice to anyone in a similar situation. Don't buy a used car if it's not certified from a dealership even if they convince you they did the same inspection that's on a certified car. This is the worst buying experience I've had ever. Regret it big time! I've registered a complaint with BBB. Hope they can resolve this. read more

Kyle Jackson in the service department is such an asset to this company. Truly would come here again only deal with him. Prompt, friendly, personable, easy to work with. read more

Typical.. all they care is $$$$. Lack in knowledge and after service.... Take your money somewhere else!

post sales customer service is sub standard. the manager inaccurately triages your issues requiring multiple trips to the service center until resolved. I caught a service center in a lie and when called on it, the general manager made excuses. the gm treated me like an idiot, when he attempted to explain to me, the impact of supply chain disruptions on the car industry when it took the dealership nearly 6mos to fix my windshield and associated parts. when you leave a voicemail with the service departmen, they never call me back. ever.. I have to call back and hope they answer. I just traded my 2020 aviator in for a bmw to avoid using their dealership again. read more

Purchased online from parts department. Part arrived damaged. They made me deal with UPS spending 4 hours formatting photos, uploading and satisfying all the claims requirements. UPS called me saying "Your shipper will be in touch"... that call never came. Four weeks later I had to start cold calling the parts department. They finally shipped a replacement asking for return of the damaged part. No return label given, so this part will sit in my basement and rot for all I care as I have work way too many hours for nothing for this lousy customer service! Will never order again from this company! (On one bright note Amanda in parts was very helpful and friendly but apologetically advised she could only do so much... promote her and get rid of the others!) read more

8 months ago we purchased a new Navigator. Since then we have experienced some of the worst customer service from any dealership I've ever experienced. We have had issues with a leaking window after 8 attempts we have taken the vehicle to another dealership! When I go to pick up our vehicle it's usually parked "out back" I don't receive the same level of service as the others showing up. Guess when they sell a vehicle that has issues they just want it to go away instead of actually fixing it! They make you not want to come back! Bob, I welcome a call from you to discuss why our review of Velde turned negative. It boils down to we felt unwelcome at Velde since we had an ongoing issue with our vehicle that was difficult for your team to repair. Calls were not returned as promised, questions were not answered, and lies were told. Update 4/26/16 Bob,thanks for the follow up phone call. Sorry that we are unable to come to an agreement on how things were handled during our 4 minute phone conversation. I agree that things started off well, but as the issue with our brand new 2015 Navigator continued the level of service degraded to the point that we felt unwelcome and unwanted. It's too bad that you only believe what your staff is telling you and not the feedback from my perspective. I'm especially surprised that your "resolution" to this matter is that we should continue to seek service from other dealerships, telling me that we are no longer welcome back to your dealership. I have contacted Lincoln regarding these concerns as well. read more

I bought a new Volvo today and went by myself to purchase. I am a woman who values my time. I was treated with respect and I felt valued as a customer. The paperwork was just as they said it would be when I drove from Springfield to Peoria to buy my SUV. There was no bait and switch with my trade, and no hidden charges. I couldn't get what I wanted locally in the time frame that I wanted. I bought a 2022 xc40. Thanks Jeff and Justin! read more

Take your money, time and energy somewhere else. Typical car sales place , all they care is $$&, horrible and incompetent service after they take your $$$. read more

For being a Lincoln and Volvo dealership, it is completely outdated. It seems they only have one service advisor, and the service department seems to be completely dysfunctional and so incredibly slow every time we have had to visit. We thought maybe after the first time that they were having an off day, but after many other times visiting it seems to be the norm. Most employees I have seen are dressed extremely casual, no class. It really is a disappointment, hopefully the dealership can get it together. read more

I recently purchased my dream car from Velde! Marty was professional, helpful, and patient as I was very picky as to what I wanted. He and the rest of the staff made this an awesome experience for me, everyone was very accommodating. I am beyond happy with my new car and will definitely recommend friends and family to Velde. Thanks again! read more

Second vehicle I have purchased here, I will recommend to friends and family. They are willing to deal. Salesmen are friendly we had Marty previously had Dee. Finance is friendly (although we did not use their financing just title work etc). The car is great. Fairly easy transaction from beginning to end. read more

Great experience. Travis, our sales rep, was very knowledgable and helpful. Dale, the sales manager, was great as well, they were able to locate a vehicle and get it to us within 48 hours even though it was states away and a holiday weekend. We price shopped and called around and no one, NO ONE, in the midwest was able to beat their price. We cautioned them that we would have our two small, loud, (and probably impatient) children with us when signing final paperwork, so they had everything already coordinated with the bank of our choice and our insurance so our final paperwork was done in less than 20 minutes. And they were amazingly accommodating. Both of us having backgrounds in sales, we will happily walk away from any customer service experience if we feel pushed, or misled in anyway and happily take our business elsewhere. Never was that a question when working with the Velde Team. They were excellent, customer focused, and you could tell it was a great environment not only for the customers, but also for the employees. They have earned our business for years to come, and we will definitely be going back here for our next Volvo purchase. read more

My daughter and I had a great experience with Frank Melchart and the whole staff. We'd had a long day of looking at cars for her and felt lucky that we made one last stop at Velde. Out of all the salespeople we'd seen, Frank was by far the best and we felt very comfortable with him the entire time. He's very professional and you can tell he values his customers. I wasn't going to finance the car there but their rate was pretty good and we were happy that my daughter could drive the car home that day. We'd definitely go back. read more

We recently purchased a used vehicle from Velde Lincoln of Peoria and wanted to share what a great experience that we had. Dale and Marty were great to work with. They were professional, courteous, and really listened to our needs. They found a vehicle for us that met all of our needs and was within our budget. The purchase and financing process was simple and stress-free. We did a lot of research before we made our purchase decision so we know we got a great deal. I would highly recommend Velde Lincoln of Peoria to others. We will certainly be back the next time we need a new or used vehicle. read more

Hands down the best vehicle consultant, Frank Melchart with Velde Lincoln Volvo Quick Top 5 Review (**greater detail following): 1. Frank completely listened to me. 2. Never tried to sell me. Ever. No pressure. None. 3. Matched ALL of my challenging criteria in finding the best vehicle. 4. Patient, kind, good guy who still treats me like family. 5. Saw me as a mother needing safe practicality and long-commute professional seeking luxury and made sure I had everything I needed to perform those roles effectively in terms of a car. Frank matched my effort in finding a vehicle I love. **Frank did not "sell" me my vehicle. Instead, he served as mentor/friend/consultant and to be honest, partly family as he helped match the perfect vehicle for my challenging criteria: high-mileage driver, a competent vehicle for IL weather highway driving, child-durable, potential trade-in with an over-mileage lease vehicle, finite down payment, and fairly concrete payment range. I posed a tough scenario and even tougher questions. Unlike others in sales, Frank never told me I would have to settle or give up something. Frank listened to me from the very minute I called and has never ceased stop working for me. He walked me through various scenarios to find the best option, which would put me in a good situation at my next trade-in point. Clearly, I cannot say enough about him. Regardless of the vehicle you are looking for or why, you have to meet Frank as his years of experience and wisdom will make you positively rethink the vehicle-purchase process. read more
