After 3 weeks waiting for the water heater to come, the owner told me to call back in a week to check on the status. The water heater never came and the owner never returned my calls. I then found Manufactured Housing Parts & Service. They instantly answered the phone and installed the new water heater the next week, at half the cost of the first company. The installer took his time and explained everything I needed to know about the hot water heater. I highly recommend this company and will call them again for any future needs.

Helpful place if you ask the women for help, which goes along with the history of the place (BBC article about coffee and body fluids). On April 30, 2015, Tom (a Spring Lake Park Lumber employee) quoted me a price for an Anderson storm door for my home. I gave him my credit card number and placed the order. Tom told me my door will take 1 to 1 1/2 weeks to arrive. On May 15th, I received a call from Tom informing me that he was expecting my door any day but he had used the wrong multiplier when quoting my door; it would cost an additional $25. I told him I would pay the additional money if he agreed to deliver my door when it arrived; he agreed. On Tuesday, May 26th, I called looking for my storm door. Later that day, Tom returned the call and told my husband the door had arrived and it would be delivered on Thursday (28th) or Friday (29th) at the latest...Saturday (30th) morning, still no delivery. I telephoned Spring Lake Park Lumber and since Tom was not working that particular day, I spoke to Bill (a Spring Lake Park Lumber employee) who informed me that not only was I not getting my door delivered that day but my door isn't expected to arrive until June 11th ; per their Anderson Windows & Doors' communication. Spring Lake Park Lumber lied to us! I went online to my credit card company and found that Spring Lake Park Lumber had NOT charged my credit card on April 30th (when I originally placed my order) but on May 15th instead; the same day Tom told me he was expecting my door to arrive any day. This leads me to believe that my door was not ordered until that date; May 15th. Someone at Spring Lake Park Lumber dropped the ball and had not placed my order with Anderson Windows & Doors until 16 days later and then lied to us about it. Needless to say, I cancelled my order with Spring Lake Park Lumber; received a full refund and proceeded to place my order with Home Depot...where I should have ordered the storm door in the first place. We have no intention to EVER do business with Spring Lake Park Lumber in the future because THIS neighborhood superstore WILL lose you in the crowd!

Our materials ran the gamut from 2x4 studs to a custom egress window and interior doors. They were able to offer some custom solutions (e.g. egress window wells) that really improved the final look of the basement bedroom. I needed to attach a new license plate to the front of my car, but the old screws and holder were rusted and no longer usable. I had made two separate trips to an automotive specialty store, where I was sold two different license plate kits, assured each time that they contained "everything" I needed. They did not, as my particular car model (which I'd disclosed to them) had a uniquely-sized fitting. I then went to Frattallone's Ace Hardware in Arden Hills, with my license plate and both kits in hand. Sid asked to come out to the parking lot to see my car. He took some measurements, and I followed him back into the store where he gathered some supplies. Instead of sending me on my way with a handful of nuts and bolts, Sid grabbed a power drill and said he wanted to make sure that what he was proposing would work. It did, and he ended up retrofitting the kits and securely attaching the license plate for me. The parts cost me $3.99, and he absolutely refused to take any extra compensation for his efforts. Sid went well above and beyond the call of duty. As a result, he's created a loyal Frattallone's customer for life!
