She is trying to do the right thing. Being on a fixed income she was able to get some vouchers. In which case I believe the doctor and the staff were not prepared to deal with any type of feral/stray cat situation. I called to verify information to make sure I did as they wanted. 2 feral cats per person per Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. As long as the paperwork and the traps matched. Then they changed their minds several more times on how many feral/stray cats could come as they were being over whelmed. As we all are with the kittens and people dumping cats. So I called left a message with my question and I received a text message from them asking my question. Once I texted everything to verify the "new" rules of dropping off cats. I was I formed by Taylor who works the front desk that they will no longer allow transporting allowed at all. The cats need to have owners! Honestly feral/stray cats do not have owners. But nonetheless Taylor was very rude, while texting using all capitals etc. As all I was doing was verifying how they wanted things done. Taylor took it to another level that didn't need to take place. Very rude, disrespectful behavior for a front end office worker. There truly is nothing wrong with verifying information when you change the drop off instructions many times. Even as a veterinary hospital I wouldn't use this place. If they speak to people over text the way Taylor did in person no thanks. Maybe they need to check how to run a feral/stray program with vouchers before they accept the contract. I would suggest Taylor take some responsibility for her actions and maybe take a class or two on how to treat people. You're having a bad day not the patients fault and you don't take it out on them. I have all the text messages from Taylor. And as promised my review for your rudeness Taylor!!!

I want to start by acknowledging that euthanizing a pet is already one of the hardest decisions a…read morefamily can make. We were in an incredibly painful situation, our dog had bitten our daughter in the face twice and needed to be euthanized for her safety. We had adopted him from a shelter, and finding a compassionate, affordable option was not easy. Shelters were at capacity, the SPCA quoted over $500, and other vets were similarly overpriced. We called Northpoint, received a price over the phone, and made the 45-minute drive from out of town, already emotionally drained. What we experienced once we arrived made a devastating day so much worse. First, upon arrival we were informed, for the first time, that we needed to bring paperwork from the shelter where we adopted our dog. No one mentioned this when we called. Staff attempted to contact the shelter themselves, said they couldn't reach them, and then told us they might not be able to help us at all. My husband had to get back in the car, drive to the shelter to retrieve immunization records, and return, adding significant time and stress to an already traumatic experience. Second, when we were finally seen, they quoted us a higher price than what we were given over the phone. They also attempted to add an urgent care fee, claiming we had been given an urgent appointment, which was not true. My husband had to push back just to get them to reconsider. When he mentioned the original price we were quoted by phone, staff told him there was nothing they could do. We were grieving. We were exhausted. We had already driven nearly an hour and a half round trip for paperwork. And Northpoint chose that moment to add surprise fees and dismiss our concerns entirely. It felt like they knew we had no other options and used that against us. I wouldn't wish this experience on any family already going through the pain of losing a pet. If you're in a similar situation, I'd encourage you to get everything, pricing and requirements, in writing before you make the trip.

For that, I have and will continue to report them to the appropriate authorities for investigations. In August of 2023, after driving 6 hours to just view the dogs first-time, and paying half of the money upfront, they began yelling at me violently and threatening me just for asking questions about the pedigree of the dogs they were trying to sell me because I noticed some of the dogs had third eyelids and other issues which were cause for concern. After all, the dogs they were trying to sell me were related to the dogs who clearly were in troubling conditions and facilities. Chris, the male breeder, told me to "shut the fuck up" and that, "I ask too many questions" and that "no one else cares about the pedigree of the dogs," so "either I just pay or [I should] shut the fuck up." As they continued to yell at me, they both admitted they were only breeding dogs because they currently have serious money troubles, and that minorities or people like me (since I'm a minority) never paid them. This didn't make sense to me. Why? Because I purchased puppies from them 5 years before, so all of a sudden they insinuated with their discriminatory behavior that since I'm a minority I should somehow give them extra assurances, even though I was standing in front of them after having drove for 6 hours from Nevada to California with half of the money upfront as they requested... Just to see and pick the puppies the first-time at 4 weeks. Still they told me, as I was signing the documents, "you know if this money isnt real, we're going to know very quickly." Shocking statement. Then after they were brutally disrespectful, discriminatory, and threatening, I had to drive 6 hours back from California to Nevada with that on my conscience and spirit, wondering why was I treated like hot-garbage for being a minority and asking questions about the conditions and pedigree of the dogs they were trying to sell me. You may ask, why didn't I just not do business with these thugs? I wanted to. But my motivations were more powerful than not giving them the satisfaction of my money and business. Let me explain, I mentioned earlier, that I purchased puppies from them 5 years before, (this was when apparently they didn't have crushing money troubles and better concealed their discriminatory, racist, and thuggish behavior). Well, I wanted a relative or a puppy from the same bloodline of my adult beagle dog, because I have a lot of love for her. So I had no choice, but to continue with the transaction, because I wasn't about to drive 12 hours to and from for nothing when my only focus was to get a relative for my adult dog. By the way, I still drove back when the puppy was 8 weeks old, which was another 12 hours to pick up the puppy at 8 weeks. I took her to the vet immediately, and guess what? there were significant inflammation issues with the eyes, which the vet said may develop into cherry eye (third eyelid). Also, the puppy was malnourished. So if she develops "Cherry Eye" full on from this inflammation, I already informed the breeder in writing, that I will be suing them. As a minority individual, I sensed racial bias and clear discrimination in their treatment towards me, particularly when they mentioned that I was "asking too many questions" and that I should "shut the fuck up." Not only is this language completely inappropriate and unprofessional, but it also raises suspicions about the legitimacy of their breeding practices. Their reluctance to discuss potential hereditary diseases like cherry eye suggests they might be aware of deficiencies in the pedigree but are trying to hide such information to make sales which is completely unethical. Their apparent desire for silence over transparency and their discriminatory undertones are deeply concerning. For that, I have and will continue to report them to the appropriate authorities for investigations. The combination of these events paints a troubling picture of Murdock's Copperhead Beagles. Their practices not only endanger the well-being of the animals they sell but also demonstrate a blatant disregard for consumer rights and concerns, and ethical business practices. Although, I will be contacting the authorities. I urge you to investigate this breeder thoroughly to ensure that future potential dog owners do not have to experience such trauma, violence, disrespect, racism, and discrimination, as I have. Holding breeders accountable for their actions is paramount to ensuring the safety and well-being of the animals and promoting a trusted situation for all customers.
