My experience as a new client was really good. I came here for my rescued stray tomcat, Bucky. He had an abscess that needed to be addressed as well as getting his trouble puffs removed. As it turned out, Bucky tested positive for FiV & leukemia. The most kind & humane thing was to let him pass in peace that day. It's never easy saying goodbye to our pets, but from start to finish I felt this was as good of an experience as one is likely to have under the circumstances. The staff are kind & helpful. Dr. Li was fantastic, patient, & kind. You can tell they actually care about their clients. One thing I truly enjoyed was that it is a team of women. No patronizing male doctor in sight that doesn't listen to a word you say. Pricing was decent as well. Their pricing on spay & neuter was absolutely decent. Check here if you are having a hard time booking with the shelter. Less expensive than my experience with Kingsburg Vet that I also really like (no shade!!). I have switched over to Pacific Crest Veterinarian a few months ago. Reason being is that I could no longer get our dog into our primary veterinarian. Do to being booked up months in advance. Our dogs groomer recommended Pacific Crest. We had to wait about 2 weeks for his first exam. Much better than 2 months plus. Their exams are very thorough. In the last few months our Dog has had teeth cleaning, extractions, surgery for growths on his body and acute Dermatitis. Dr. Drummond even found two sties inside his lower eyelid. I can only say wonderful things about Pacific Crest. They have full time Personnel for teeth cleaning and tooth extractions. Which most veterinarians do not. Both Dr. Drummond and Danny are two wonderful experienced people that really care about your pets well being. Their prices are in line and they do not price gouge. They only recommend what's essentially needed. You can tell they really like and care about animals. There assistants and office staff go beyond to help you. They are always friendly and caring. Our pup Nina developed a horrible ear infection and they were able to get us in the next day. The staff was very kind and took their time to give our dog a very thorough exam and educate us on the issue (two types of bacteria and yeast) and treatment. They cleaned her ears and sent us home with meds and a realistic timeline of when things would look better. At our follow up they checked everything again and sure enough she still had some bacteria so they scheduled us back in two weeks to make sure it's all gone. Nina is a fearful little dog who is easily stressed in new situations, but she had absolutely no fear here and actually seemed to enjoy the attention. Dr Drummond is my dogs regular vet, and you can just TELL how much she loves these animals. My dog is a 12lb chihuahua mix and he shakes and gets nervous at everything - but he gets EXCITED when he sees Dr Drummond and that truly tells you something. He loves her, and therefore I love her. I have to say this office is so incredibly patient. I don't live in town but when my local vet couldn't see my dog (I have been a client since 1982 and my parents took my childhood pets there when I was a kid) I brought her here. The minute I walked in the door I could tell there was a vast difference in how they treated their clients and ran the clinic. The front receptionists were friendly and very efficient as are the vet assistants. Dr Lessler came into the exam room and sat on the floor to examine my dog. She was extremely through in asking about my dogs health including what she ate and her daily routine. Unlike my local vet I didn't feel like I was being rushed through the exam just to get me out the door. Unfortunately I was quite surprised to find my dog has a serious life-threatening condition and I really feel if we had waited to see my local vet my dog wouldn't have survived. I am very critical when it comes to the care of my animals and I felt everyone there has their best interests at heart. The office is clean and in a beautiful location and even though it's a few miles away I am making them my "regular vet" because I felt my dog really received wonderful care. Another bonus is they fax my dogs claims and invoices directly to her insurance company so I don't have to do it. Just all in all outstanding customer service!! read more

I took my little dog(10#) here to be spayed last week. Their price was cheaper than the other vets I called and when I paid my bill it was less expensive than the quote! Pleasant surprise! My little girl slept for hours after we got her home(a clear indicator that she was well medicated!). She was sent home with another 4 days worth of pain medication that seemed to work really well as she was back to her happy self in no time. As a critical care nurse myself I have to say her incision is BEAUTIFUL! The doctor clearly cares about quality work. My dog got a fox tail in his eye and his regular veterinary office was unable to see him today and very rude on the phone. My aunt uses Pacific Crest Equine so we called to see if they could see him. The staff was friendly and able to work him in. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly receptionist. Did the paperwork and we're called right in. The Vet tech was friendly and gentle with my big baby. Dr. Pedersen came in and examined him. She was able to get the fox tail out without sedation and my dog was not in any distress with the whole situation. I will be taking all of my pets here from now on and will recommend them to everyone!! ** Although it shouldn't matter I will say that my Baby is a Pit Bull and looks very aggressive. None of the staff at Pacific Crest Equine were fazed when interacting with him. This is always a plus when taking our dogs places. We made a last minute call to them the day before Thanksgiving, and they made time for us to bring our dog by. He could not put any pressure on his leg, they did an x-ray and helped us determine it was a torn ligament. I took my cat there to get fixed and when I got him back all he did was sleep. When he was up he limped and was in obvious pain. I thought it was from the surgery, but when I looked at his stitching, I realized that he had an open wound the entire time!! It was deep and at least the length of half my pinky finger. I made an emergency appointment with them and they said it happened bc of his own actions, but all he did was sleep! They still had the audacity to charge me another 200$ to fix him! These vets are shady and will not take responsibility for their own actions. DO NOT RECOMMEND AND PLS DONT GO THERE. read more

Today 1/22/2021 I dropped of 2 feral/stray kitties for spay/neuter. I dropped them off at their scheduled appointment time and the technician in the morning explained the procedure thoroughly and asked if I had any questions. I then picked up the kitties later in the day and the 2 technicians( didn't get their names) that brought them out were super friendly and carried out the kitties with care and gave them attention. I've experienced other clinics/ hospital were they do not pay attention in handling cats properly after surgery. I appreciate the technicians I had a one on one experience with. read more

I was having problems getting my 2 cats in to a vet. I called and ey got them in within a week. Very friendly office staff and knowledgeable. The vet (Kelly) who saw my cats thought both could loose some weight. I changed dry food to a prescription formula type. Both cats like it and have lost weight. The kitties love to go visit so they can walk around the examination room instead of being in there carrier. Both cats were relaxed and easy going instead of freaked out like in the past. Definitely recommend this place. Very helpful and I feel like I was treated right. I changed from a vet I had been going to for over 40 yrs. since the office staff was rude and it felt like they wanted to diagnose my cats instead of the vet. I couldn't even speak to the vet without an apt. at my old vet. This vet or another vet will get right back to you. That means a lot since our pets are a big part of our family. read more
