Definitely a great place to go for anything you or your reptile may need! They have tanks, they have accessories for your tank rehoming animals, crickets, a super cool tortoise walking around. The whole place is nice and a great experience! The owner is extremely helpful and took the time to really answer any questions I had, and truly went above and beyond with helping her customers. They have a variety of reptiles and reptile accessories. Definitely better selection of stuff than most pet stores! read more

I came here while visiting my fiance', hence the 4 stars, since I have yet to adopt a reptile or buy feeders here. The visit was well met, the shop and all the reptiles are well cared for. I was inquiring for my tarantulas, which she and I covered feeders, care, and which expos I've been to since I currently live in Las Vegas, NV. It was a relaxing and great chat. I could tell they are very invested in the well being of their reptiles and other charges. And for the person who thinks a person vaping or smoking is a bad thing, you are focused on the wrong items. You get their full attention, even if it is simply you visiting to learn more about what they do. They let you visit their store, they are not pushy. They want people to be more informed to give the best homes to any critters they take on. When I'm ready for more than spiders, I will check this place first. Thumbs up. read more

The woman in there is RUDE, she yelled at another customer who wanted to buy small crickets while I was in there. All he wanted was a dollar worth of crickets for his leopard gecko and she proceeded to berate him about how that's animal abuse because he needs to be feeding the gecko large crickets instead of the small ones he was trying to buy. The place STINKS and needs to be CLEANED, she was on the phone the whole time instead. There was bedding all over the floor, it did not have a nice smell. Very disappointed going in there because I've seen the owners at reptile shows here in the valley and thought highly of them and assumed they would take care of their animals. There were 3 ball pythons in one tank, the tank was NOT big enough. This place should be run properly or it should be closed. I wont go there again. read more

The ladies who own this shop are extremely knowledgable and go out of their way to be helpful. Their meatbugs are healthy and live a long time, unlike those purchased at big box pet stores. I highly recommend this business for anyone interested in owning a reptile of any kind. read more

I am giving this place two stars because the crickets were healthy and good quality crickets. If it weren't for this, my rating would have been 1. I asked the owner if they had small superworms, she said that my (4 month old) bearded dragon can and should be eating full grown superworms & that since I am not feeding I am "killing him." When I brought up the fact that I had done a lot of research, wasn't asking for her advice, and have talked to many vets and experienced breeders and keepers, they all agreed that superworms should be cut or fed when smaller than 3/4" at this age. She then proceeded to raise her voice and argue that she "knew what she was talking about", & "went to school for 10 years!" The risk of impaction of adult superworms is real. Here's a direct quote from reptilemagazine.org, "Superworms - These are a popular choice for both bearded dragons and their keepers, as they're visually stimulating and easy to keep. Do not feed these to dragons under 16" because they're simply too big and the hard shell can be difficult to digest. Be careful not to feed more than 10-15 worms a day (which is still a lot!) as doing so poses an impaction risk! They are also fairly fatty and you don't want your dragon to be obese " keep in mind I told her my dragon was 11" and 4 months old. It's been proven study after study that tube UVBs are much much better than coil UVBs when using with a bearded dragon: nope she didn't agree with that either. When I brought up that I ordered bugs online, she threatened to "send me to petco and petsmart" oh PLEASE. ALL I WANTED WERE SOME CRICKETS. This woman is a "my way or the highway!" Kind of lady and I will NEVER shop at this store again. I brought it up to my brother and 2 friends who had also shopped here and they said that she had this kind of attitude with them as well. I feel bad for all the people this woman has steered in the wrong direction. Also if she went to school for 10 years why the hell isn't she a vet or doing something worth 10 years of school??? Doesn't make any sense. Please do your own research before you listen to anyone who is making money of off you people. read more

I visited this store when it was out off 198, about a year and a half ago. Truth be told, I was a little disgusted. When I was walking in the open door, an iguana was walking out into the parking lot. I had a 6 foot iguana, so I didn't hesitate to scoop it up and carry it back inside. I was mortified! Could you be any more careless? Did they even know their iguana was heading outside into traffic? When I mentioned it, they didn't seem concerned. The place was filthy. The people there were unprofessional and didn't really seem to know a lot about their animals. So I never went back. When I saw the grand opening announcement on Facebook, I thought I might give it a second glance. I had NO IDEA that the store had new owners! And I am wildly in love with the store and the new owners! I was truly impressed with everything. The animals are better cared for, spoiled even! These ladies rock! They not only know what they are talking about, but they have an obvious, genuine care and consideration for all their critters. And the iguana that I scooped up? When I saw him last, he was skinny and looked sick and very old. Turns out he was only 4 years old and very, very sick and malnutritioned. Now, he is blossoming! It's like night and day. All of their animals are blossoming. This is now my go-to place for all my reptile and tarantula needs! Thank you, ladies! It was truly enjoyable stopping in there this evening and spending time with you and your critters! read more
