NO NEW BUSINESS - THEY WANT NO NEW BUSINESS - for months (probably over 6) my husband has tried getting someone to return a phone call or an email with no success - tried website, email, phone message... nothing. When we tried just dropping the car off to see when they could get in, they were STILL dismissive and condescending. I don't event think they wrote our information down. We've heard good things which is why we tried but I guess they only want certain customers. Ridiculous way to run a business. Would give 0 stars if possible. I send everyone who asks for a recommendation for car repair to Scheer Automotive. Not only do they do excellent work, but their pricing is unbelievably fair. It is hard to find an honest, reasonable, price-conscious place these days. They don't find 12 other things wrong when you bring your car in or try to upsell you or overcharge you for labor. They fix what is wrong and that is all. I got a quote from another garage for close to $900 and I took it to Scheer for a second opinion. They fixed it for $500. I will never go anywhere else. I can't understand how there are so many good reviews. After multiple (more than I can count) attempts to get an appointment (via calling, leaving messages, and their website), I decided to drive in and schedule in person. I thought maybe they just don't handle that side of their business well. Everyone says so many good things about them. I go in, and he gives me a month out before I can bring my car in, tells me to come in and just say I have an appointment, writes nothing down, and frankly doesn't even seem interested in my business. I'm glad so many seem to have luck with these guys. They don't want my business for some reason. read more

I started taking my auto to Scheer Automotive three or four years ago I found that their charges for repairs were about 1/3 less than the dealer's. (This was after my car's ten-year repair warranty had expired.) On a number of occasions they have fixed a problem (for example, the steering column made a scraping sound or a signal light went out ) without charge. They are always friendly and courteous. Let me start by saying I can see that this place has a lot of good reviews but almost all of them are written by men. If you're a woman, I would recommend going somewhere else if you want to experience good customer service. They fixed the issue with my car however it was done with condensation and insisting that I must've neglected taking care of my car beforehand. And when I've called since to have my car get looked at it when I'm concerned there might be an issue, I am turned away and met with more condescension about how I shouldn't be worried in the first place. read more

After getting our car serviced at our dealership we started having issues with our electrical. They worked on it and discovered a bulb had been pulling out and they didn't charge us a thing!! On another occasion our daughter broke down and they came out and towed it at no charge! This is what good customer service means! They have our loyalty! read more

Let me start off by saying: I never thought I would feel so passionately about an automotive shop. Let me tell you, this place does it for me. I have gotten my oil changed here several times, and it is the best price I've ever found. But that's not even the best thing about these guys. I also had a leak in my engine a few years back that they fixed and it was very reasonably priced. As someone who does not have dollaz laying around, I appreciate that. I had gotten my oil changed (someplace else) and soon after my car started to leak oil. So, being someone who cant really make it rain on a regular basis, I. freaked out because "oh my gosh this will cost me $946 for a car that is worth like eight dollars maybe." (I am very dramatic.) I took it in, and later that evening they call me to tell me that my oil filter just wasn't put on right, and the leak was fixed. THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME FOR THIS. I could've hugged 'em, but we were on the phone so, obviously, that would've been impossible, and also weird even if physically feasible. Maybe I shouldn't be leaking these secrets about them. I certainly don't want people to think they just give away their services, but they easily could've charged me a bit for their time. I am just so grateful, and will DEFINITELY get my life changed here exclusively from now on. read more

Amazing! After taking my 2009 vehicle to the dealer b/c of a rattling sound, the dealer told me (much to my surprise) that I needed $1600 worth of work AND zero was covered under warranty (of course!). I opted for a 2nd opinion and headed to Scheer Automotive. Tyler drove my car, told me he knew exactly what was wrong w/ it and it was going to be a whopping (drum roll please) $205 and that included labor! They got me right in, I was able to sit and wait and it took them about a minute to fix my "$1,600" worth of problems with about $200. These guys are honest, ethical and super fantastic to deal with. And although I hope my '09 doesn't have to have any work done in the near future, I won't even have to think when deciding where to take it when it does. read more

These guys are amazing. My van overheated on I-35 yesterday and it was towed to this shop at 4pm. They close at 5:30pm but they went the extra mile and figured out the problem, found a place that had the part and stayed way past closing on a Friday night to fix my van and get my children and I back on the road.
