Sam is the owner of this company and is such an honest and standup guy. I had another big company take a look at my garage and I wanted a second opinion. Both guys gave me a quote and similar feedback but what set him apart was that he took his time, gave specific details on what he would do, and responded with great feedback from my questions. He also was honest about cost and gave suggestions for cost saving tips. He made me feel like he was working with someone who was a part of his family. Giving recommendations that weren't just about making money, but a real recommendation to benefit what we needed. He took time with a free consult and when it was time for the install, he was quick and efficient, clean, and also respectful of our time. I would highly recommend Sam and SCF Garage doors. My garage door opener wasn't working. I was looking for a company that doesn't charge me service fee. I contacted Sam and he said he doesn't charge a service fee. It was a Saturday morning and I was able to make an appointment the same day. Sam said that the door was heavy for the motor to lift it so he needed to adjust the tension on the motor and tighten the springs. He made sure everything works well and explained what he was doing and the reason for them as he was doing the job. He was polite, professional and knowledgeable. He charged me $99 for doing the work. I am totally satisfied with his work and the pricing. I would recommend him to everyone to trust his knowledge and expertise and great pricing. read more

Sam is great to work with! Super quick to respond, fair pricing, and amazing work! Highly recommend!

We were in the hospital with our baby who was having surgery and our older boys were home with a babysitter when they did something and broke our garage door, leaving it unable to close. It was a little after 7 PM and we frantically reached out to Sam, not wanting our kids and the babysitter to be at home with the garage door open overnight. Sam said he was going to finish putting his own kids to bed and then head to our house, which he did. Apparently, a part that was supposed to be on our garage door had fallen off and in the midst of the mess in our garage, it got lost. Sam was able to get the door to close that night and then came back the following day to replace the part. Not only was he reasonably priced and quick to respond even late at night, but he was also super kind and even fixed the squeak in our second garage door for free. I highly recommend Sam and SCF garage doors! read more

My garage door was making strange noises when moving and the initial movement of the opener made me think it the door may jump it's tracks. I found this local company on Yelp and read very positive reviews. I made an appointment yesterday and Sam responded timely and set up an appointment for today. Sam showed up when promised and diagnosed needed adjustments. During the adjustments my door began to buckle due to age and use. Now this became an emergency repair. Sam instantly suggested a fix and went back to his shop to pick up the remedy. He was back quickly and installed struts to stabilize the door. He completed the adjustment and lubricated all moving parts to extend the life of our door. Sam and SCF Garage Doors save my door and extended the life of our door and opener. Sam impressed me right from the beginning about his concern for me, the customer. That concern was there throughout the project. His professionalism and product knowledge were impressive as well.
