After…read moregetting several quotes, I was resigned that the repairs would cost much more than our deductible so I filed a claim. My wife called place she thought did bodywork and they didn't but recommended Pabco. She went over and talked Marcial and got a great quote. She called me and told me to cancel the claim with insurance because Pabco could do it for less than our deductible. I was skeptical to be honest because their quote was a solid one-third less than the place I thought we were going to go with. When I dropped the car off, I told them I was renting a car out-of-pocket and they said they'd do their best to finish by Friday. Again, I was hopeful but a little skeptical. They came through and called me Friday afternoon to let me know I could pick it up. The work was flawless and they returned the car much cleaner (inside and out) than it was when I dropped it off. I was dreading dealing with this repair and Pabco could not have made it less painless. The front office staff was friendly and efficient, the communication was spot on and, most importantly, the car looks brand new. Highly recommended.

I have generally been unhappy with Heritage Ford when it comes to value, communication, and…read morecustomer service. Value - in general, their repair costs relatively expensive. I had an issue with my expedition. Where is gave a code under hard acceleration onto the freeway. It was very expensive just to have it diagnosed, and it turned out to be one of the sparkplugs was gapped improperly. I have a ford warranty, and I would think this would be covered as either a faulty part or workmanship, but it was not. They changed the plugs and I was $600 lighter. Service - I brought my Ford F150 in for a sunroof that sticks, under a Carmax warranty. $170 to diagnose, and that is not considered part of the repair, so it will not be submitted to Carmax as part of the warranty cost. I also am having the oil changed and asked if they could listen to the cam chain rattle at cold start and let me know if they think it is normal. They would not do this unless I paid another $170 diagnostic fee. Communication - They never call me and tell me that they will be keeping the car another day or two, or when it might be done. Sometimes they don't call me when it is done. I would suggest going to the Ford dealer in Escalon or Ceres, or even one of the highly-rated independents found in Yelp. Updated from 1-2 stars and still in motion ------------------------------------------------------------- Service - Still not satisfied, I called the Service Manager and asked if he would please just start the vehicle and see if he thought it warranted me paying for a diagnostic ($170). He said he would. I received a call back later that it was indeed one of the two issues I was concerned about (either the cam chain tensioner or the cam phasers). This will be repaired by Ford because they had a bulletin to replace the phasers. Communication - Still not happy because I had no communication from my service representative to the end of the 3rd day, and then to tell me that parts were delayed. I am still open to a further upgraded rating as this unfolds Updated from 2-4 stars ---------------------------------- I am still a bit conflicted because this was still a comedy of errors. Car took longer to repair because they thought I had taken it home while waiting for parts, but I had not, so we lost a day to confusion. In the end, after being asked, the service manager listened to the engine on cold start and found that the cam phasers were a likely problem and that Ford had a service bulletin on this, so they repaired that at not cost, and that also required an oil change, so I no longer had to pay for that, In the end, a lot was done and covered by the Ford powertrain or Carmax complete warranty, but I still had to call most of the time to get communication, and in all the process was a bit contentious, but I did get a good repair and good value so I am going to err on the high side and end this review with a 4.

A disappointing experience with Heritage Ford…read more I brought in my 2020 Ford Escape for an oil change and a repair of my power liftgate button. I also had an issue with the Ford Pass app; it was showing that my car was in battery saver/sleep mode. At the counter, I was told there was also a recall that they would handle. When explaining the app issue, the workers at the counter rudely told me "I have no idea what that is, just call them." So much for the $295 diagnostic fee! After "working" on the car all day, I picked up the car and was told to bring it back once they got the parts in. I brought it back in the morning two days later. They called saying the button was fixed. As soon as I sat in the car to drive out of the lot, I noticed the check engine light was on. How weird, I came in for an issue with the trunk...but the check engine light is on now? I bring the keys back to the counter to find out why the CEL is on and find that they were going to let me drive off without having even worked on the recall! Later this day, I'm called again saying it's ready and that the light was on because the technician had forgotten to reset something. I come in, still not knowing why the battery is in sleep mode and why I can't access the remote features in the app. I end up going on a goose chase throughout the dealership, with the only solution seeming to be "try logging out and back into the app" and "turn your phone off and back on." The issue was confirmed to not be with the app at all, but the technicians refused to see what the physical issue could be. You guessed it, I requested them to figure it out and they kept the car another night. Next day, they tell me there was an issue with the charging system. They didn't notice this earlier when they supposedly did a scan of the car's entire system? I got to have this absurd and annoying experience for over $850. I am not very familiar with cars but I feel like this was grossly overcharged for the issues I experienced with Heritage. The staff at the service counters have a serious attitude problem. I understand they are very busy in the mornings, but it seemed like they simply did not want to help or hear what my car issues were. When one person didn't know they answer, they just shoved me onto someone else who did not care to help me get the answers either. The service department did a lousy job at checking their boxes and making sure everything is ready and working before returning the car the customer. When paying, the cashier was barely paying attention and couldn't hear me while she had her AirPods in. The sales department is much better though. I bought three vehicles with their fleet manager who is super helpful. He really made the purchasing experience feel personalized and special. He may be the only person in the dealership who doesn't hate their job. I would also like to note they have a good shuttle service. They will take you to and from any local area (even neighboring cities like Salida and Ripon) while your vehicle is being serviced. I would say, only come here if you have to.

When it came to who to send my vehicle to, I chose Fix Auto because of their excellent rating on Yelp. My car initially was seen at the Spyres location where Mick assessed the damage and sent that to my insurance company. I also met Mary who worked the front desk who was super nice and friendly and helpful. Mick was a great guy who helped explain what needed to be done. Eventually, the car went to the 9th street location since the Spyres location did more cosmetic stuff and this repair needed a lot of work. Fix Auto kept me informed about the progress of repairs and when it was time to get the car, I got a call from Vimal who I met at the shop. He went over all the things that was done and the car looked brand new. One of the reasons I would give 6 stars is because I felt they went far beyond my expectations. For example, I had done a PPF in the front with Ceramic Garage and they got them to do that without having to worry and deal with it. Also, a hub cap was damaged and Vimal informed me that they have ordered a new one but will take another week for it to come in. Things I wondered if Fix Auto would address with my insurance or whether I would have to do these things at my expense. So kudos to Vimal and Mick who took care of things with my insurance along with Mary who was at the 9th St location. I shared my experience with my friends and they agreed Fix Auto went beyond what is expected. I didn't realize til I saw the shop that they are an authorized Tesla repair shop and so I know where to go to take my Tesla for any repairs.
