Admittedly upon entry my boyfriend and I weren't incredibly encouraged that we would find anything above the seemingly boring senior styles it seems all other lingerie stores are selling. We wandered around commenting to one another possibly hoping to be approached by one of the two staff members we saw. Idealistically I was a little disappointed at first that the single bearded man who came in directly behind us was approached and helped before we were but perhaps it was understandable since we came together and perhaps that guy alone. Finally after a full rotation of the store and some extra time at the saucy adult back area, a young miss came over to ask if she could help. With a sigh of relief I relayed sizes and wishes and only moments later was given three bra choices in the color I'd requested. Choice A was fantastic in the front but lacked side boob control and had too narrow a back band. The sales person was wonderful, polite and courteous and communicated discreetly at all times. She upon allowed entry directed me to turn to the mirror and made helpful interactive comments on the garment. She stepped out. Choice B wasn't as lacy as I preferred so I went directly to choice C. Normally there would be more choices however it WAS Christmas Eve so of course it was what they last had in stock. Fantastically choice C was the winner. Matched with underwear and a similarly colored garter belt. Yes. Wonderful. Sold. And don't forget to pickup at least one if not two pairs of sexy pinstriped back lined stockings. Go here. I found this place completely by accident on the way walking to a Yelp event. I got off at the train station a stop early and decided to enjoy the sun and walk down Granville heading to G-town, a walk that I rarely do. Since I had 45 minutes to kill took advantage of going down a new path to my destination. I walked in and at first I was a little intimidated by the selection. Lingerie and I have a weird relationship but the store was nicely presented, nice pastel shades and the staff were super warm, helpful, friendly and sweet. The lady whom served me went above and beyond for me and genuinely seemed friendly, not fake at all which annoys me in other stores of the same nature. She asked if I was getting married etc. and I politely expressed my anti marriage views but thanked her for taking personal interest and being sociable. She could tell that I was a little uncomfortable with the topic but made her feel better that she did the right customer service thing by actually connecting with customers and their needs. I did find something for myself in the wedding isle for my good friend Jackie who is getting married in a few days. I already bought her gift ages ago, however, stumbled upon this last minute treasure and it was a cute must have. The lady at the til went above her duty and nicely wrapped, gave me a nice bag so that I didn't have to pack the item myself when I got home. When she found out that it was a gift she automatically took the price tag off for me gently. A very well trained and genuine retail associate that others in the business need to take note of. The items are expensive but they're high quality compared to the throw away stores in Metrotown (you know the ones that I am talking about ladies). read more

I purchased a strapless bra from this store in November 2011 for a wedding I was going to. I originally went to Change to purchase a bra but they did not have my size at any of their locations, so they directed me to Scarlet. The place is small(ish) and has a sort of high end boutique feel to it. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I was looking for anything specific - which I was. The lady immediately took my size asked what style I was wanting as far as fit and look, and started grabbing bras for me to try on. I think I spent 45 minutes to an hour in this store trying on a bunch of bras looking for the right one. It was hard finding a bra for me because I have a small chest yet a wide rib cage. The lady who was helping me was very helpful - she was always waiting outside the door to check the fit of each bra and give her professional opinion which I appreciated. She even helped me zip up the dress to make sure the bra looked good with what I was going to wear (Bringing the dress bra shopping was such a good idea btw!). I came up with 1 bra and an investment it was! I can't remember exactly how much it was - but the bill was over $100! I'm pretty sure it came to about $115.00. The bra is very comfortable, stays up no problem, and makes my girls look good so I cannot complain! The lady who was helping me seemed a little fake and her niceness forced, but I did not feel pressured to buy the most expensive item (they've got bra selling for up to $180 that I saw!). I didn't really look at much else there, but I think I did sneak a glimpse of some adult toys! Overall a really good experience - the only down side is it's a little expensive! But you have to indulge every one in awhile (or maybe every week :) ). read more

Not as much selection in what I was looking for, but a ton of other fun things! This store knows how to diversify! From books and toys to lace and ruffles and of course the basics I was after. The only anomaly was the pricing because for the quality of service and goods, the prices are really reasonable. Not cheap, but ... delightfully reasonable. As a for-now-retired Dominatrix, I have a closet full of sexy outfits, but their made-in-Italy fishnet stockings nevertheless caught me eye, and although I'm 180 lbs. and 6' tall, they had one in my size, and I decided to purchase. The saleslady flitted by and noticed the size I'd chosen and confirmed that this was indeed the right size for me. I really liked that. So, let's talk about the salesladies. Although the store exudes sensuality and sexuality with just the perfect hint of a subtly dark twist, the salesladies are so wholesomely fresh-faced and lovely that it makes the contrast stark. Their understated style is sexier than if they'd been sporting piercings and tattoos all over. Plus, if you think intelligence is sexy, and I do, then the way the salesladies manage the entire shopping experience radiates that these are some highly active minds at work, focused on making my shopping experience a delight. It's tempting in this review to abandon eloquence and just say "wow." There, I said it. I'm bisexual and it took some self-control to not be inappropriate and invite one of the salesladies to come along to the club event tomorrow night. I barely managed, Anyway, if you seek elegance, sexiness, great value, high quality and a delightfully high level of intelligent customer service, here's the place to go. I'm a raving fan. Boutique high end Lingerie Store in downtown Vancouver across the street from the mall. Higher end name brand lingerie items will obviously cost a lot more than your commercial underwear/ party wear store. I got a simple body suit on sale by 70 percent and checked out their accessories by the cashier. The store has a sale section, stockings ( reasonably priced) , bachelorette party shelf, and games in the back. I also like that they carry xs and larger sizes. If you love collecting or looking at lingerie attire, this store is the perfect place to stop by. It's classy, and I've even seen non creepy ( I think) men in here. Unlike Victoria Secret ( which I do like but get overwhelmed), the lighting is bright and no loud music, a more intimate feminine feel. I asked the girl at checkout about tips on storing lingerie and sleepwear and she was so helpful! I'm actually excited about organizing now. I love that she had so many tips ( she clearly has a passion for collecting and knows how to take care of them very well). It makes me fantasize about having a beautiful flirty organized collection in my own boudoir hmmmmmmm... until then, I'll settle for window shopping here! read more

I am a curvy girl (38 DD, hour glass shape) and I was able to find pieces that supported me and my curves (my husband agrees)! After going to the usual stores and the new, huge Victoria's Secret, and even the very nice La Vie en Rose, a friend took me here because, despite measurements and "fittings" I just couldn't find something that made me look really good. Yes, it's a small expensive store, but really nice brands, a fantastic, knowledgeable fitting, and I came away with 3 sets of really, really nice (and not that expensive) things. I feel great, my husband agrees. I would go back in a minute. And, about the expense, I have a lot of badly fitting bras--even in the $40-60 range--I just didn't know better--having ones that fit--so worth it. I wish they had a bit more choice, but the staff were great and not pushy. Finally, it was fun to look at the range of other things in the shop.
