P.S. Check google for hours because these hours are not always right! I would change them but it seems the hours change. I'm certain they are usually open Sundays, that is the day I went. This is an awesome park with four main attractions. It is massive. They had beer tents and area to purchase other drinks or food. They were also showing scary movies on a screen with a bonfire area in front of it. There is plenty of seating near the food areas as well. This gentleman let us try the 4D experience, and it was pretty cool. The lines to buy tickets moved pretty quickly. You can purchase them online. The great thing is all of the tickets are the same, so if you want two attractions it is the same ticket. This is awesome because if you change your mind and want to do the haunted house instead of the maze, you can do it easily. We got $5 off our tickets because I went online. If you go on the website you can put your name and email in and obtain a coupon. You can also get coupons at Spirit Halloween Stores. Each attraction is typically $15. We decided to try the Forest of Darkness as a group. To be honest with you, it was not scary at all. It was pretty cool, but I think they needed more people. It seems as though they hire more closer to Halloween. They had a lot of missed opportunities of being able to jump out in certain locations. They got a few gasps out of the group, but nothing really scary. Our second option was the maze. I hate mazes. For some reason, I pictured the corn stalk or hay. I'm not going to lie, I got really freaked out and confused near the end. It was a different type of scary. I coupd not figure out where we were going and how to get out. We kept circling around somehow, and we would always somehow locate another opening. An opening we passed before without seeing? So strange! Eventually we got to some kind of like prison area with fog and then I was really confused. It was so difficult to find the exit. We did find the entrance again but he told us we needed to go in and find the exit. I really liked the maze. Give it a shot. Next time I will check out the haunted house. I heard the hay ride was boring and for children so I did not go on that. They do sell bottled pop. They do not allow you to bring drinks in. They take $1 donation for parking or canned food!

Great place with several attractions. The haunted forest and castle were great. The hayride not so scary. They have beer tent and several food options. Overall great place for a scare and some fun.

DONT go to Blake's. DONT go to Slaughtered at Sundown. DONT go to Erebus. THIS is where the fright at and if you're reading this review, don't base it off of the 3 stars it has. I literally have no idea why it's less than 5 stars. This place is SCARY and has attractions for all ages. People come up and scare you and the Castle actually had me about to touch the emergency exit door and I do NOT scare easy. The monsters that scare you as you walk around or wait in lines are the best. COME DURING SEPTEMBER. The lines in October are crazy...but still worth it! GET THE FULL ATTRACTION PASSES IF YOU CAN!!!

The guy that was narrating the hayride called me a dumb bitch. Classy... I definitely wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy!

I don’t believe they do. My son works there and reception is very spotty. Texts don’t always go through

This event attracts thousands of visitors to the town to view the elaborate Halloween decorations by the residents of Romeo, but in particular, the homes on Tillson Street. Best of all, this is all free and the street is always open to the public, day or night. On the weekends before All Hallows' Eve, I recommend arriving shortly before sundown to beat the rush of people that descend onto Tillson Street at night. There is free municipal parking behind the shops on Main Street by the police station. Parking spots closest to Tillson Street typically go for $5. I found a spot in the municipal parking lot and strolled the various streets on my ten-minute walk to Tillson Street. There are other homes around town that go all out for Halloween besides Tillson Street, and I recommend checking them out too. I preferred arriving before sunset because it gave me extra time to see a few other streets and stroll Tillson Street before it became super packed. It also made my second walkthrough after sundown much faster. I hear that it's a madhouse on October 31st, but this is when kids can trick or treat on Tillson Street to collect candy. It all sounds fun but I don't think I'd want to deal with the crowds. The direction of the flow of foot traffic begins on Tillson and Main Streets where a popular Dairy Queen is located. After crossing the street at Tillson and Sisson, visitors will make their way back down Tilson toward Main Street. At the end of the walk, there will be cider and donuts available for a donation. However, if you turn the corner you may see a table set up by a local church giving away free donuts, cider, water, and hot chocolate. Not saying this will be available every year, but it's worth it to check before shelling out money for a drink and a snack. The decorations are amazing! Lots of special effects where you can see ghosts apparitions moving in the windows of the homes and even a few surprises like a skeleton popping out of a coffin. I loved the animated Halloween decorations including a dummy wearing an Ohio State Buckeyes shirt being electrocuted, skeletons dancing, and a witch holding a girl over a cauldron. The clown house was excellently creepy. All that is needed is for Pennywise to stick his head out of the sewer! Terror on Tillson Street really is a must-see Halloween attraction for anyone in the Detroit area in October. Even though the decorations are largely the same each year, I wouldn't mind making Tillson Street a Halloween tradition. The townspeople are friendly and the homes are so beautiful. Romeo really is a storybook Midwest town that is a beautiful place to visit in the autumn.
