I had called a different place who uses a Swiss method but could not get any information on the technique or type of hair enhancement without going in for a $300 consultation. I am so glad I turned them down and found Ilona's place. The salon-like room was calming and very clean (I look at everything). She then took the time to show and explain the various methods, pro's/con's, with samples and pictures. She asked questions about my medical history and looked at my scalp to give me her recommendations. I was floored however, by her sincere willingness to help me. She advised me not to do anything for the time being (YES, she actually turned business away!) even though I have a wider than normal hair part. She gave me a wonderful game plan for when my problem becomes worse. She took the time to really listen and answer all my questions. This woman has a wonderful work ethic and provides a specialized service. I look forward to being her client if/when the day comes I need it.

I followed her directions...sleep on satin pillow, no shower for 24 hrs and don't sweat. I asked if it would be in place for the week of my cruise and was told it will remain attached for at least 2 weeks. The morning of embarkation I woke with the whole front half detached and no time to have it redone. I had to remove it and shave my head. One side was glued onto my hair and I had to pull my hair out to get it off. I wanted to send a note to her on their website but they don't provide that option. Sorry to say the whole thing was a waste of time and money and a lesson learned the hard way.

Scalp New England…read more Location: The office is close to the highway and it easily accessible, there is plenty of parking. Office/practice: Modern, clean and private. Technician: Brian is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Professional, personable, have lots of patience. Brian is one of those people who have a positive attitude all the time. My experience: Brian is super clean and organized, he wears gloves every time he has to touch your head and everything he is using is sterilized and high quality. He asked me a lot of questions about the look I'm looking for and after he drew the hairline we made some minor tweaks and finalized the expectations. Some people say the procedure is painful, some say it isn't. The only way I can describe it is that it's less painful than a tattoo (if you had a tattoo) but it gets to you after a while (for me it was on the 3rd and final pass of the first session). Your head gets a bit red, some areas more than others, but it doesn't hurt. It is important to keep your head clean and moist in order to avoid infections and dryness, so follow Brian's aftercare instructions. Between my first and second session I communicated with Brian to let him know how I was progressing and he was kind enough to answer all my questions and calm me down a bit. Side note here, if you are not picky, you become picky and even if you are not a person who checks the mirror a lot be ready to become friends with all the mirror in the house. On my second session, Brian addressed all the adjustments I have requested with the same smile and same positive attitude. He added some density and tweaked my hairline. After the second session you get a better picture of what the final results would be but there is still a lot of room for improvement, especially if you are a bit obsessive as I am. Do not worry if you see something you need adjusted, Brian will smile and adjust it for you. His goal as he told me a number of times is to make his customers happy and create a look that "works" for them and their face. On my 3rd session he added some pigment and filled some areas where I manage to remove the pigment by rubbing it a bit too hard. I'm now taking 2 weeks off before seeing him again for the last time because I need to heal and let the pigment settle a bit. Overall this has been a fantastic experience. Brian is not only a nice guy he is the best SMP technician in Massachusetts and if you see his work up close as I have you are going to trust him with your look. He understands your needs because he has been in your shoes and he will do whatever possible to please you. He is a skilled technician and I have no regrets trusting him with my look. Don't wait, call him now and make an appointment. You are not going to regret it, I know I don't! Thanks

I recently had an in-depth consultation with Dr. Petropoulos about the impact of aging on my face…read more As a 67 year old male, I have developed a bit of a double chin, jowls and of course, the normal lines and wrinkles on my forehead and around my eyes. Dr. Petropoulos was very thorough in her hands-on examination of my face and outlined clearly both the challenges and treatments that are available to deal with each of my issues. She also identified the problem of my saggy upper eyelids and set up an appointment for me to be evaluated on their impact on my vision, ultimately resulting in approval from Medicare to have the surgery covered (planned for next month). Initially, I had a round of Botox to reduce the lines in my forehead, frown lines and crows feet around my eyes. My wife was surprised at how much this treatment almost immediately made me look younger. I would highly recommend Dr. Petropoulos and her team for anyone considering addressing skin rejuvenation or other facial issues.

On top of that I also have psoriasis in my scalp so professional attention was in need. With salons reopening I called a few stylist who worked on my hair through the years and not one of the 3 stylist I contacted returned my call neither did the 4 hair salons. Finally I remembered Chimene. She had done my hair in the past but when I changed jobs my hours made it difficult to see her. I crossed my fingers and reached out via text 6am on a Thurs, she responded in 15 mins, had an opening 3 days later and to my surprise she reached her goal and obtained her hair loss license because hair care is her passion. The scalp detox, oxygen treatment is detailed and effective. I could actually feel my scalp breathe for the first time in months it seems. The hair extension service I used to get had been discontinued but because Chimene is a consummate professional she grandfathered the service for me and did it anyways. I learned as well. I was taught what I eat plays huge factor in not only health but it effects the hair. I left there feeling like a new woman. Also her wig making and styling skills are top notch. I could say so much more but my hand is getting tired... (Pic coming soon)
