Much better today. Service with a smile and patience training me to use card scanner. Food was good. Service fast

The only part of the name that seems relevant to me is the word bar. Let's go and get drunk

When I lived in Los Angeles I lived in the S'Barrio. But let's go back about 5 years before that. The first meal I ever had on the first night I ever spent in the United States was at Sbarro of Times Square. As a 16 year old, who had run away from home in England (basically), I thought it was the sh**. Of course it wasn't the sh** but that's how it felt at the time. Since then, Sbarro's will always have a place in my heart. Some of their products are awful and reheated and congealed, but then others actually taste pretty decent. Not too shabby. Depends on the location. This one was pretty good. We got a bit of everything (between 4 of us) and it was a hell of a lot better than the Subway sh** we ate the previous time we were here. The only reason it gets 3 and not 4 is that it's too pricy, and it's a national chain and I don't much like those.

Great authentic Italian cuisine with fresh ingredients. Nice Italian style decor with a family friendly atmosphere. The service is always on point, fast and friendly servers. Our go to appetizers are usually the homemade meatballs with ricotta cheese and crab stuffed hot peppers, both are delicious! I haven't found something I don't like here. All the chicken dishes are great including the Parm and Marsala are my go to dishes. A nice selection of seafood and veal as well. I've had catering from here and the chicken and beef dishes were great. The meal included mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. I especially love to support small family owned businesses. Highly recommended! The only problem I usually have here is what to order! Hahaha! Salute

We were greeted and seated quickly, then waited about 5 minutes before our server came. She was very professional and pleasant. After one bite of the Chicken Marsala I had ordered, I just couldn't bring myself to eat any more of it. The gravy was awful. There's just no way to describe it. Our server kindly suggested alternate meals. I chose Chicken Parmesan without cheese. It was delicious. That red sauce was scrumptious, though a tad on the sweet side. My husband ordered the Eggplant Parmesan and thought it was mediocre. (He judges restaurants by this meal.) Then he ordered the Chocolate Bavarian cake. He thought it was light and tasty. Not too sweet at all. Yummy. The Christmas music playing was wonderful to listen to but played too loudly. We prefer the music be in the background so we may have conversations. I had a headache until I left the restaurant. I absolutely loved how they decorated for Christmas throughout the whole restaurant! Their service is not fast, so this is not a place for a quick meal.

We tried the spaghetti aglio e olio, alfredo with shrimp and chicken Marsala. They were exceptionally delicious! It's hard to get authentic Italian food anymore , and I'm telling you that you will find it here ! We will be back.

My mom the matriarch, myself and my very Irish guy who loves Italian food too stopped at Shrodi's for an early dinner. Yes, I've been seeing the many posts and comments on social media. Yes, I know the very long family history and know the infamous shrodi from his restaurant back in the good ol' days. So that is my prelude to this dining experience today. We walked in and were greeted by Natalie who also lucky for us was our fabulous server. Italian. Authentic. Tradition History What is better than a quaint stone restaurant with a Basil garden thriving as you walk up? Well, a family tradition and staff who all welcome you as family .. yes, we know the family history of Shrodi. The menu was plentiful and the selections took much time to choose and with the outstanding help of Natalie we made our picks! What is cool is my mom is not a big eater anymore and chose off the senior menu which is very clever to have available and still had enough leftovers for lunch today. The stuffed banana peppers with Sunday sauce were amazing. Three served generously and one went home! Veal piccata was delish with a nice zest of lemon. Large portions! House salad with their house dressing to add according to our taste. Many kalamata Olives. Cherry tomatoes Fresh mushrooms. And freshest mixed greens Our Irishman picked his favorite penne with vodka sauce. It was the best he's ever had. And he's super picky. I have to agree! The added prosciutti and seasonings were truly mouth watering. The chef is masterful in the kitchen and believe me, every mouth watering taste was worth the wait! Natalie was fabulous and attentive to us from hello to see you again soon goodbye. Everyone waved goodbye as we left. Oh I forgot to mention they are making a bocce court out back to really add to its authentic Italian tradition and flair. It's a little bit of Heaven tucked away in Penn Hills! Do not pass it up!

Unfortunately, over the past few years there has been a steady decline in the food, and the service. Tonight, my family ordered take out. A family bolognase was one of the dishes & upon picking It up and taking It back home, we opened the container to find literally no sauce. The manager Dan offered the explanation of an "inexperienced chef" and "credit" toward the next meal. Additionally, the staff person who took the order, was simply unkind. To make matters worse, just recently I had a business meeting and had It catered by Pasqualino's. They failed to provide any dressing for a 20 person salad and made another large mistake with the order. They didn't offer to refund and also refused to deliver any of the necessary items to complete the meal. I give them 2 stars instead of 1 because i know there's potential in this restaurant, because It used to be good. I hope they can figure It out.

Haven't been here for several years but our group thought it would be a nice place to go for good food and conversation. The restaurant is pleasantly themed with its Italian roots. I got to try the Sfogliatelle, vodka pasta, salad, and bread. I just live when places like this give bread, and high quality bread at that. Super soft and high quality. Add ons like that do really elevate the experience. And a solid side salad as well, with plenty of cheese but not very varied vegetable wise. The pasta itself was amazing. Very generous portion. A good amount of sauce, although not super evenly distributed. Perfect pasta and a really good, balanced vodka sauce. Really enjoyed this. The Sfogliatelle, it was my first time trying anything like this. It wasn't super sweet or all that flavorful at all, and was somewhat small. A bit lemony. Not sure if I'd have it again, but I loved the little crunchy sides and it was still pretty good. Overall, definitely a hidden gem in Murrysville. Loved the spot.
