I was remiss to not post a review after my first meal here, but the second time was every bit as…read morelovely. With an unassuming exterior but lovely interior, Isabella's joins only 2 other restaurants in Fayetteville (for me) that make me feel truly pampered. White tablecloth, knowledgeable staff, proper table and wine service, with a diverse menu all impeccably prepared is just entirely too rare these days. Isabella's delivers. Between the 2 visits we've had: classic cocktails and nice wines by the glass, both the mozzarella and the burrata appetizer, the sweetbread entree, filet Oscar style, veal scallopine Oscar style, and the halibut. If I was super nitpicky I would say the halibut was a little over, but I also know the difference between what I think is perfect halibut and it being "over" is likely less than 30 seconds in the pan. It was still tasty, with a nice lemon butter & caper sauce. One visit was finished with olive oil cake another was a rich chocolate cake, the kind you finish regardless of how full you are. Both worth repeating. For a memorable meal with celebration worthy service in Fayetteville, Isabella's is a wonderful choice.

The biggest disappointment was our server, he was kind but not very tentative and didn't mention any of the specials to us that we overheard from another table. Not to mention gave me Chardonnay instead of Sauvignon Blanc The lady serving water and bread tended to us more than our actual server. Overall will definitely go back though!

We often used to have dinner at Joe's Italian Grill on 412 East/(Robinson Ave.) in Springdale, when…read moreit was run by members of our local historical Italian community here in Northwest Arkansas. Unfortunatey, Joe's suffered a catastrophic fire several years ago, and for a year or two, it just sat there, ruined and closed. It has since been purchased and reopened by some Eastern Europeans -- no one in our Northwest Arkansas Italian community involved whatsoever. I feel like we've given it a fair chance, but at this point I strongly recommend against eating there; the food and service have gotten pretty bad. Just a few days ago, we were there, and although the restaurant was not crowded (maybe 10-15 people total, in the two large main dining areas?), it was going on an hour and a half without our having received our food. We asked for a few additional rolls, just to tide us over, but the server forgot about it, and -- ridiculously -- they were only provided as we had finished eating and were ready to depart. A number of the restaurant's employees were just hanging out together at the checkout counter, conversing; laughing, and having a great time (which is apparently more important to them than serving their clientele). I approached them and asked them why our food had not been provided, and the only response I got -- from some strange-looking small fellow with a long ponytail -- was something to the effect of, "Oh, yeah!? Well, you have no idea how busy we are!"

I had Italian sausage Bolognese, and halfway through traded it for my friends wild mushroom pasta…read more Both were fantastic, and had rich creamy sauces. The sausage was pretty killer, a tad spicy. The mushroom pasta had a tinge of lemony zest to it. Morels were deliciously panfried in butter. My favorite was the to go order for a third person though: pistachio Alfredo, a similar sauce to the wild mushroom pasta but a bit nuttier. Zero complaints with the food, and i look forward to the owners new location (pizza Lotties) that will be opening soon i hear. This place is dangerously close to five star perfection, if only it were not so crowded (locals know whats up) and it's also a bit loud. The open air kitchen is a nice touch but probably doesn't help with the noise. Imo good food for decent value and would be worth the wait (you can enter into the waitlist online which i will certainly do next time and probably opt for patio seating if possible) All in all very satisfied. This place has a cool menu that seems to evolve and explore the culinary arts. (I love that someone thought to make a sausage/pasta dish with Korean gochujang) I look forward to partaking in many future gourmand adventures here made possible made by such creative kitchen-bound artists

We started with the pasta, which was the better of the two dishes, but it wasn't very hot; I'd still recommend it. The pizza was disappointing, the sausage (which wasn't cheap to add) had very little flavor and tasted more like ground turkey, and the sauce lacked flavor as well. The drink I ordered was so tart I had to send it back, but the waitress was very kind about it. Overall, I'd give it another shot, but this visit felt a bit overhyped.
