VERY simple looking from the outside but extremely inviting atmosphere and decor when you get in. It is street parking only on a busy main street. I got lucky and scored a spot directly in front of the restaurant on this rainy evening. We started with the Quesadilla with steak in a corn tortilla. This is what really brought it down from 5 to 4 stars. Keep in mind, this was the equivalent to our appetizer, so we were very nervous after this. Extremely lack luster. Disappointingly little steak and even less cheese. It was as if we were eating a piece of a corn tortilla. Avoid the quesadilla. We then shared an order of enchiladas. Things were getting better. Enchiladas were solid. Nice kick to the green sauce with pieces of pineapple to hit you with a left hook. Came with rice and beans as well. This could've been a meal but we decided to share this to try different things. The burrito was the final thing on the menu. I got the Al Pastor burrito and it was excellent. Very tasty and well put together. Only thing that struck me odd was that it came with French fries opposed to rice and beans. I kind of would've enjoyed it a lot more with the rice and beans as the fries were average at best. I ordered online as I was stuck in traffic and everything was ready when I got there, which was prior to the estimated pickup time. All in all, very solid meal and there's plenty of seating if you're looking to dine in as well.

Great spot to check out for a quick bite. They serve a couple my fav sandwiches. I'll post photos…read more They have good drinks. I had the Jamaica. Ayo. It is really great for hydrating. Oh yeah. And candy. Lol. Peanut butter one. It's good. Lol.

I was…read moreexcited about this place, big building, bright lights, great picture on the side of the building representing the brand! You have to pay for your parking which isn't an issue cheap and clean parking lot. We made a reservation on the phone for 9pm. As we walked in we were greeted by a very nice young lady. Looking around they have 3 floors, the first is a bar/lounge. The 2nd is where restrooms are and the 3rd is the rooftop! It was a beautiful night so we were in the rooftop, they had a dj ( he was playing all the latest and greatest music) we were quickly seated and asked about drinks and appetizers. So folks there was 2 hiccups during our Visit BUT I will say this ( the STAFF and Manager exceeded our expectations while dealing with one of the issues. So the first issue was I explained to the waiter I'm a Diabetic and I am Allergic to Seafood. I said " please Diet Coke and sparkling water" so I can drink it with my whiskey . The wife had several different tequilas . We waited for our appetizers, within 10 minutes my fish tacos came out I looked at the food and asked my " is this fish???" She said "yes" so I ate 1 it looked like a chicken strip but the 2 nd one was 2 piece and I asked my wife are you sure she said " yes" I took a bite and ate half of it. I looked down and seen something orange I broke open the food and I said " this is shrimp !!?!?!" I then called the waiter called the manager and sent my wife across the street to Walgreens for Benadryl. Folks I afraid for my life!!! It was my wife's birthday and here we are about to run to the hospital ‍! But the manager and waiter were excellent!!! Kept checking on me making sure I was ok and thankfully I was!!! Next we started eating our appetizers and it started raining so we waited around by the bar had some more drinks. They came to us and told us we can go downstairs to eat and enjoy the evening and we did!!!! The DJ started doing his thing and we started really enjoying ourselves! Folks I recommended this place without a doubt!!!! They are considerate, empathetic, understanding and best of all Concerned" about their customers health and wellbeing! Then to top it off they gave us a 50% discount!!!!!!!! We were so happy about this I left the waiter a $63 tip'!!!!

The only thing I didn't like is that we were told we could only order from their Valentine's Day menu and not the regular menu. Their special menu had limited food choices. Other than that everything was great! Their picante guac was amazing and fresh- also loved the guava marg!

How can this place get bad reviews? New Jersey is lucky to have this place. I happened by tonight,…read morecoincidentally a Tuesday, and ordered the al pastor tacos - got an extra free one for Tuesday. These tacos are the most similar (in New Jersey) to ones I've had in Mexico. For eight and a half bucks you get 5 little tacos stuffed with juicy, tender pork meat roasted on a spit, served on warm tortillas and covered with small diced onion and cilantro. Red and green salsa that's actually hot served on the side. It's in a cool former diner, like a beautiful Mexican tribute to my home state. This is a treat that is equal in almost every way to Katz's Deli, including the amount of meat, at a quarter of the price. It's the best value around, and nothing warms me like good Mexican food. I even loved hearing the employees mumble about the gringo who just walked in. I've been coming for years, and will always come back. Viva Taqueria Los Gueros. !Orale!
