In first part of December had all utilities turned on. Suburban propane charged an $80.00 unlock fee. In middle of March (3 months later) Suburban propane sent a bill for the propane that was left in tank. So I called. 1. Woman said they refunded previous owner (lie, previous owner said they apparently filled tank after he moved). 2. This was explained to office worker (woman claimed to be office supervisor) at Suburban propane. 3. Woman explained we were on auto fill (so it was a current bill) they just filled tank she said. Nope tank wasn't filled. Explained we just took picture of gage. Try again. 4. Woman then got upset and flustered, then changed story to, it was filled over a year ago, no one was billed, they had to put lock on it. She went on to say, we used it so we need to pay for it. She is right we used it, so we did pay for it. However, I felt like I should get $80. lock out fee back. It wasn't my fault they had to lock tank, this mess is on them. I paid a little over $200 for propane which they put in tank without authorization from home owner at that time- yes he cancelled service. Previous owner said they were supposed to pick up tank. They could've kept this customer, just by telling truth, instead of making up stories. This company is shady and dishonest, if you don't like first lie, they keep telling them. avoid!

Jerry Hays was beyond exceptional in the set up of our tank and the inspection and cleaning out of our wall propane heaters. Amazing to find that such service still exists. Jerry was professional, personable, and very knowledgeable re all things propane and propane appliances. He answered all of our questions and then some. Randall Tate was professional and made us feel like we were his only customer. Mr. Tate took his time in explaining the size of generator that was best suited for our home and was neat and professional with the electrical installation. Drew Land was prompt and extremely professional during the installation of our tank and took special care in not destroying our yard or cutting any underground lines. Said that cops wouldn't do anything since it's private property. I know this as it's ghetto west Memphis! But she wouldn't even look at the camera for me. Super horrible attitude. You couldn't get service if you were waving hundred dollar bills. It took 10 mins just to get a seat at the bar (they were dead), almost 15 mins to have someone take my order, and the rest of the time I was there I never saw any waiters again (They must have all been outside smoking). I couldn't find anybody to refill my tea and had to hunt someone down just to get my check. Paying the bill was a whole fiasco in itself. The cashier was dumber than my 6 year old who is in kindergarten! Not to mention that the patrons and employees in the Denny's were so ghetto, I was embarrassed for them. How could any self respecting human act like that? All in all I will NEVER go back to that Denny's!!!!!

In the past several months I've had a lot of stuff around my house that had to be taken care of…read more One of those things was to install a new water treatment system (septic) system, that left my backyard a nightmare--it would need a lot of dirt, along with spreading and leveling it. A change in homeowners insurance required that I get it taken care of, and NOW. I started looking online for suppliers and prices. The first one up was a big box supplier that had their prices listed online. But I wasn't sure how much dirt I would need to do the job. A couple more lines down the search results was Backyard Landscape. When I saw the location, I realized I had driven by the place several times and had been curious about them. Now was my chance to find out what they were about. When I called I immediately noticed two things--first, they actually answer the phone, and two the person who answered was very pleasant. Good start! I explained my situation, and when I told Tony the big box price he said, "I can get you three times that amount of dirt for the same price." Yeah, I was stunned! Then he quoted me a price to come out, spread it, and level it. He also told me he would be the one actually doing the work. Another point in their favor--no worries about trying to explain something to another person down the chain in the company. When could they do it? Tony understood this was related to keeping my insurance coverage, so he didn't want to make a promise he couldn't keep. He told me he would check with his supplier for the dirt, verify the schedule, and call me back. That was where Backyard Landscape really came through for me. Tony called me back, when he said he would, and gave me a firm date to both deliver and spread the dirt. And it was just three business days from the day I first called. And that is EXACTLY what they did. All promises were kept and on time! The work looks great. As I said my yard was a mess full of sink holes, tire tracks, ruts, and hardly passable. Now it is filled in, smooth, and Tony even took care of leveling the dirt just the way I wanted around a couple of trees in the backyard. It was only then that he asked for payment. It was also then that I found out Tony was the OWNER of the company. To say I'm pleased is an understatement. I've already asked Tony to estimate what some gravel work would cost, and intend to get quotes on sod to finish off the backyard. I've found a company I both highly recommend and intend to use in the future. NOTE: I have posted a few photos showing what the backyard looked like right after the new water treatment system was installed in January, and what it looks like after Tony did the work. (It looked even better before it rained--within a couple of hours of Tony finishing the work!) I wish I had some pics of how it looked right before Tony did the work--between January and May several sink holes had opened up, ground had settled and so on. Because as bad as the photos from January look, it looked even worse before Tony got started!
