If you have a problem and call them, they say they have too many calls and not enough customer service reps, which is obvious after holding for over 30 minutes. After we moved, and prior to setting up the automatic drafts again, they sent our first bill on 9/27 and told us it was past due as of 9/21. Not to mention, it took them several days to get our service turned on at our new residence. When we moved, we had to set up a new account because I couldn't log on the online account to transfer service, and their password resets didn't work. They still have my security deposit from my old account after more than a year and a half and we've had to get the utilities commission involved. All payments were drafted from our account on the due date, and the final bill has been paid. They aren't denying they owe the deposit, they just won't send it. As if this isn't enough reasons to be frustrated with them, they once accidentally debited our account for $480, when the bill was $48. It took several days to get that straightened out. Needless to say, if I had a choice, I wouldn't use Atmos. If you're looking to rent or buy in the area, I strongly suggest you look for something that will prevent you from having to deal with this horrible company.

Omg when I got to my house a few days later, the gas meter, that is supposed to be close to parallel to the house. Mine is bad. It's on bad angle. It is awful. I called the lady back at the utility district and told her how the meter was put in and could they please send the workman back out to fix it where it's straight. She informed me that she would and that he would talk to the contractor about it? Why? It's not his house where the gas meter placement looks like ___. Besides not just anyone can work with the gas meters. So talking to the contractor is of no value. Well 3 weeks have passed and they still haven't done anything. I'll be getting back on this next week. Look how far it is off the house! Isn't there a placement spec for gas meters? Something just doesn't look right to me!
