I looked around at a few other items and the same - no prices. Apparently it's a "Dick's Thing" to put merchandise out without prices. And I'm not talking just a few things - entire displays, etc. Has anyone ever stopped to think about "customer experience?"

They didn't…read morehave exactly what I was looking for, but when speaking with the owner he let me know they could order what I was looking for and it would be to the shop in about 48 hours. It was ordered and less than 18 hours later it was delivered to the store. I came in and picked up the delivery, background check and paid within 15 minutes. Great experience. Quality customer service. Went back to the store the following day to gain some information about another item. The owner admitted not to be an expert in the area and referred me to his co-worker. The item was discussed and extensive information was shared. Purchase was made. Very happy with the entire experience.

I have a love/hate relationship with mall stores like this one. They offer their merchandise at…read morehigher prices to pay for the mall rent. When they have a sale, it's often minor. However, I've managed to get some great clearance deals with The Finish Line, but generally not with their competitors. Today was not one of those days. While they had a couple of sales on Brooks running shoes overall, it looked mostly as though they were trying to clear out the non-mainstream colour combinations. The same model shoe but in a muted or conservative colour scheme was full price. I'm sure they have to do more with Nike, Adidas, and Reebok because most stores will have those. Over the years, I've found that The Finish Line has shirts and other gear on good sales, but you have to keep up with their weekly sales and impromptu mark downs. Two of the staffers asked to help me and one stayed quite a while to discuss things. Surprisingly, there was no high pressure, although they asked repeatedly if I'd like to try something. They were both pleasant, thankfully, which isn't all that common in my experience.

However over six months later not a thing that is noticeable has occurred. There are a few stores and MCL seems to now be an anchor. During my April visit there were more security guards walking the mall than customers. The guards were not nice either. When snapping a pic they said it was prohibited. However no signs. The only nice popular stores have departed. No longer a theater is attached. So many mistakes have occurred with management. The Muncie Mall has a long way to go to recover and I'm not optimistic they will. I grew up going to the mall and it's distressing to see its demise. The mall was once the place to shop and be seen as a teen. Now the selection of items is all but gone. I see no reason to return. 1.5 rounding down.

For every open store there are 3-4 closed ones. So sad that malls are dying. The anchor store is a Books A Million. There are a couple shoe stores. A bath and bodywork. Some stores I have never heard of. If you are a mall walker which a high percentage of people were in there this is your place! No obstacles in your way. It is a good place to spend an hour or so. If you are hungry you have a MCL or Auntie Anne's pretzel. There are several security guards there and this mall is clean!
