The bar itself has well kept look and not being a regular felt very comfortable going in and watching everyone have a good time and singing. The bartender was nice enough to switch out a drink if you didn't like it and have you sample the juice before mixing another drink. I didn't catch her name but she was very considerate. At one point I asked her about a beer they had and she informed me that it was a glucose free beer especially for one of the regulars. I thought that was a great gesture for their clients. Anyway great little bar and I would recommend going in a group. Have fun guys

Then closing came and they decided to let someone perform that already performed even though we had waited two hours and never got to perform once, and when I said that to her , her excuse was that it was a good song even though she literally said our song was a great song choice when I gave it to her! The place is small and I already struggle with the anxiety of being in a tight space with people so it was such a disappointment to patiently wait for nothing. Definitely won't be going back and don't think it's worth the trip there. Coming in or leaving you'd be bombarded with clouds of cigarette smoke because of the people that smoke right in the front, which is something I personally don't enjoy, and, besides the truck outside that always seems to be closed, there are no food options. A couple of alternatives are TD or Atlas bar in Chicopee.

I was seated beside them and not even offered an ice water.......I felt invisible; even though I arrived at the same time as them, I was completely skipped over. When the bartender on staff returned, he did not make eye contact with me and proceeded to greet other patrons on the opposite side of the bar. I had to flag him down for my first order while my friends were almost done with their first drink. They even were surprised that I was ignored so blatantly. The cost of my usual (a shot and juice on ice) went up $4/drink and they are no longer honoring Blue Room beverage chips. In retrospect, I feel the bartender was giving me the cold shoulder as I had a Blue Room chip in my hand (I was unaware at the time that the bar would no longer honor their namesake chips). I went only once since new ownership this year ... and I'm sad to say I won't be returning. It really rubbed me the wrong way. I'll be honest; I planned on having my retirement party here. I used to visit with friends, family and colleagues since I was a young woman. If you are a newer patron, I'm sure you will enjoy the atmosphere of a local bar. It's clean and kept up. I wish their business well. That being said; there's plenty other locations to support locally, and I know I would rather not support a business that responds directly with "...we don't honor those [Blue Room drink chips] anymore- [the previous owner] didn't pay me for them when I bought the place so, yeah. Sorry."

Awesome local bar. Friendly and helpful staff and great atmosphere for local bar lovers.read more

"We invite you to have a taste of Germany, no passport required"-Munich Haus…read more A truly authentic German restaurant with loads of events at the restaurant, banquet hall, & outdoor biergarten featuring live music. Big place that takes up a entire corner in downtown Chicopee, MA. Three parking lots behind the restaurant. Offering lunch & dinner Sun-Thu 11:30am-9pm, Fri & Sat 11:30am-10pm. We visited here on Saturday evening April 18. 2026. This place was highly recommended by our friends from the German-american Club of Albany (NY). Half our party had been here many previous times & for the other half, it was our first time. This day they were hosting their annual wild game feast in the banquet hall. 50+ people attended this event. Munich Haus has 20 or so special events per year. Our party of six was here for dinner. Our server was the spunky Maria who made this a memorable dinner. We were here for their famous schnitzels. A hearty meal excellently prepared and served eight ways. Comes with soup or salad and choice of two sides (i.e. spaetzle, potato pancakes, sauerkraut, red cabbage, or chef's vegetable). Also you can get a schnitzel sampler of 3 varieties. WOW! Also offered are sauerbraten, rouladen, chicken Reisling, braised lamb shanks, a variety of wursts (sausages) and delicious dessets. It's simply WUNDERBAR! Many thanks again to Maria & the rest of the Munich Haus staff for a tasty & memorable dinner road trip "for a taste of Germany, no passport required." I come here every few years because I love German food, when I am in the mood. I've always liked it…read more... this time it was so-so. The food was a 3 star affair, at the most. Staff was 5 star. Atmosphere, 4 stars. The menu here is almost exactly same as the famous Student Prince restaurant in Springfield. Parking is much easier but I prefer the Student Prince's old school 1940's decor. The prices are similar ... high. 3 p.m. dinner only menu. Seriously?? The prices are double vs. lunch. Who eats dinner at 3 p.m. Those 10 minutes in between 2:50 pm and 3:00 pm cost me about $25 extra. The worst part of my meal ... Apple Strudel dessert. This isn't apple strudel. It's a weird thin-skinned apple pie with a lot of almost creamy chopped apple filling. The filling seems to contain cream of some sort and tasted a bit sour/spoiled. There is no satisfying crispiness or crunch ... it's a sloppy mess. Definitely recommend not getting this. Jager Schnitzel ... The brown gravy sauce with mushrooms was fantastic. However, there wasn't enough of it and the pork was dry and pounded way too thin, so it felt a little like eating a piece of cardboard with panko breading. Spaetzel ... Great. On the small side but perfectly buttered and tasted great. Red cabbage was also very good. Salad ... Came with the meal but I was charged $3 more for Roquefort cheese dressing. Wasn't told about the upcharge ... but the other options for dressing weren't very exciting. The Roquefort is a few crumbles of cheese mixed into sweet Russian dressing. Probably would just go with a regular dressing. The staff was great and the waitress was so perky and helpful. The host was extremely nice and accommodating. Nothing bad to say about the staff here ... they are probably the only reason I am giving 4 vs. 3 stars. The prices seem very high ... $19 for 2 sausages ... $26 for Schnitzel ... $14 - $19 for appetizers. $13 pretzel. It's all high quality stuff for sure. But, after tip, my bill was $60 for Schnitzel, a beer and a so-called Struedel. I guess that's kind of everywhere these days though. If you like German food, which is hard to find, they've been doing it for a long time. It's good ... but nothing amazing. The restaurant is clean ... staff is nice ... and menu is unique and authentic. Beer list is good and though $9 each, it comes in a tall glass ... 22 ounces?

I usually skip the pretzel, but I'm happy we got it because it was soft and had the perfect amount of salt. The nachos and burger took a super long time to come out. I think they were waiting to bring them out together, but that just led to soggy nachos and a lukewarm burger. The chips that weren't soggy were pretty good and the added chili was good for flavor. Drinks were good! I can't remember the specific one that I got but it was Apple flavored and perfect for the fall. They serve 32 ounce beer mugs and it was hilarious next to my tiny wine glass. I would check them out again if I were in the area and looking for this kind of atmosphere.

It cost $50/hour including shoe rental. Staffing seemed sparse and it really took a while for someone to acknowledge the 2 of us, and no one at least greeted us and let us know they'd help us shortly. It was a Sunday in April and the place was about half full. There are only about 10 lanes. No one ever came over to take a drink or food order but that could've been because I exclaimed how expensive it was for one hour of bowling. According to the April Vacation Special it seemed like I should've gotten apps but all I got was bowling & shoe rental. However, we had fun. The automated scoring, pin setup, ball return were in working order. There's lots of bowling ball weights and finger hole sizes to choose from. There's a GIGANTIC TV with some seating so it was nice to catch the Bruins game after we finished bowling.
