I have used orkin (through my landlord) at my previous house and was very happy with the results, which is why I wanted them for our new home. After scheduling the initial visit, a tech showed up after it had just begun raining and said he would need to come back to do the job right (rain will wash away outside treatment). This was understandable but I wished he or the office would've let me know that rain affects this so we could have chosen a different day from the start (or rescheduled first thing that morning). We rescheduled for the next business day and he never showed up. No call, no text/email, and I even called the office who contacted him, to no avail. Felicia in the office was apologetic, kind, and helped us close our barely opened account after I called a second time. After calling Terminix and GoForth, Orkin is the best value for the money (not to mention no 12-month contract) but I do not advise this company if you do not have a flexible work schedule. I had to rearrange 2 of my work days for this with no results. I gave 3 stars because the service is very good if it is compatible with your schedule. If I worked from home (which many do now due to COVID) or made my own hours at work, I would probably be a customer.

She pounded the door so hard that I thought it was the noise from the construction workers next door, hammering! The pounding was so loud that it scared one of my daughters! She ran to me in fear! It scared me too! I thought someone was trying to break the door down! It was a constant banging, without letting up! I went to the door and saw our Orkin Technician there. I told her I wasn't expecting her. She said that she didn't have the right number to call. I called Orkin and told them I don't ever want her to come to my house again! Under no conditions are you to ever treat a customer in such a manner! I am the customer! When I called Orkin to complain, the Manager was very dismissive with me. When I explained what had happened, he just said, "Umm hummm... I will let them know". He didn't apologize, or acknowledge that was wrong, or anything. And they never did get rid of the ants.

We were looking for someone to mitigate the woodpecker issue and repair the damage that was done. We were lucky to come across Compassionate Wildlife Removal for this work. Lawrence did a great job explaining to us the approach and effectiveness of his methods and took great care to do the work right the first time. He asked us to prepare some of the owner items needed as well as assess the products we purchased for this issue to see if it was good to use or abandon and his services were affordable for the work completed. Hopefully we won't need any mitigation going forward but Larwence stands by his work. So if we would need him again for anything else, we will gladly contact him again for mitigation services!

He found no termite activity and said the stair damage was from wood rot/water damage. I really appreciate the time he spent inspecting the house and explaining what he found, especially since he didn't charge anything for the inspection. What really impressed me was that he didn't try to push me into buying a treatment or maintenance program. He gave me some options for preventative treatment, if I so desired, but didn't push me to have anything done. Just said to let him know if later I decided I was interested in doing something.
