Amburgey recently cleaned the carpets in my new home…read more 1) The master bedroom and stairway now have a wet dog smell. 2) Some spots on the carpet are crunchy when stepped on. 3) I had to wait about 2-3 days for the carpet in the master and stairway to fully dry. 4) The stairs were soaked so the excess water had to be sucked up with a shopvac. Even after airing out the house and turning on all fans it took another 24hrs to dry. 5) Had to find some "home" remedies to lessen the wet dog smell. Communication and scheduling were great and the carpet clean was quick... maybe too quick. Overall experience wasn't great.

To their credit, the men called to say that they were running late, and they wouldn't make it until the end of the 11am-1pm window I had been given. Unfortunately I had an appointment in Tacoma at noon and it was too late to reschedule. Fortunately I zipped back to the house and arrived shortly after the technicians. One walked the area and then quoted me $239 + extras which I declined. He said that the area was more like two 15X15 rooms plus a short hallway measuring about 6 feet, thus the price increase. And he said that I'd have to move the furniture, but later told me they moved it for me. There was a couch, a TV on a stand and an end table with a lamp. When they were finished I wrote a check and asked for a receipt. The technician told me the duplicate for my check was my receipt. And then he decided he could give me the paper with the work order on it. My husband called the company to voice his concern over the price discrepancy. He left a message and then the owner or manager called me back. I was told on the phone that the one who made the reservations should be the one at the house. I replied that I was. Since it became evident that I wasn't going to be permitted to state my case that I was quoted $189 and charged $239, I thanked him and ended the call. So although the service was completed, the price was not the same and the person on the phone did not seem to want to listen.

Prices typically go up a little but I can always expect to pay $330 for everything or around that. I called this company and asked them for an appointment in which they gave me a 5 hour window. I accepted that and stayed home for 3 hours waiting for them to show up. When the technician showed up, like always, we walked areas and I said I wanted same as last time. After 10 min of him "figuring out the price" he stated it would be DOUBLE because prices went up and they didn't see my pet treatments noted on my invoices. I called the office pleading that this is unfair and even explained how they pet treat the area and what tools etc.. The lady notified me that the pet treatment may indeed of happened, however, its not on invoice so they wouldn't help me. This gave me two thoughts, A. being you allowed someone in my home with my children who would steal from your company? Cause I paid for the pet treatments. B. You make me take work off and then tell me once you've shown up 3 hours into the 5 hour window, that you raised your prices???? This not only lost me valuable hours at work, where my time is worth money but the way you so admittedly explained that your employee didn't record things I have received in the past therefore hiring thefts and liars and allowing them into the comfort of my family and home. SCAM!!!!!! DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!

I was surprised he didn't have more ratings/reviews, but I think he's new to Yelp, so if you are hesitant at all I'd urge you to just hire him (or go on Facebook marketplace and see his reviews there).
