Unfortunately, my experience here was extremely disappointing from the moment I arrived…read more There was a sign at the front that said "Seat Yourself," so I did exactly that. I sat down and waited approximately 10-15 minutes while the server completely ignored me. Eventually, I had to get up and walk to the counter just to get someone's attention and receive service. Once my order finally arrived, I wasn't even provided utensils to eat my sides. I had to call the number of the restaurant just to have them in order to bring me my utensils. To make matters worse, my food was cold and not warm, but actually cold. Considering the amount of time I waited, I expected my meal to at least be served fresh and hot. The lady did apologize, which I appreciated, but nothing was offered to correct the situation or make up for the poor service and cold food. Customer service plays a huge part in whether I return to a restaurant, and unfortunately, this experience made my decision very easy. I will not be returning. I hope management takes situations like this seriously and works on improving the experience for future customers.

I saw several glowing reviews and contacted Doug immediately. I ordered pigs in a blanket, veggie platters, a couple types of quesadillas and brisket and pulled pork sliders. The quality of the food was excellent and the guests raved about it! Doug was excellent in working with me on my budget (and even threw in some street tacos!) and there was plenty of food for the 250-300 person crowd! Doug worked directly with the funeral coordinator so I could concentrate on family. The staff were extremely kind and friendly. Doug even managed to locate some toothpicks for me! Again, I highly recommend LC. Thank you to Doug for the wonderful experience!

Really wanted to like this place. Tried hard to wait…read moreforever to get food. But patience is not enough. Food really bad if it was even hot. Fish dry and overcooked, blackened shrimp looked like it was leftover from a fire, green beans were to be corn, sweet potatoes were rotten. Thank god I was warned by the table next door but took a bite and sure enough it was rotten. However the manager disagreed. Staff friendly and the poor server did alot of putting out fires. We think whoever was in the kitchen needed help, desperately another 2 hands at very least. Everything took forever and we weren't the only table looking and waiting. We were told it never used to be like this. Guess 2 cooks recently quit and another is on overtime. But there were plenty of servers. Lots of dining rooms here too. BRing a sweater, it's cold and a full stomach, not sure you will be eating.

It was like traveling back in time to the good old diner days. Mary was our sweet server. Dad and I shared the Bowl of Mushroom Artichoke Soup and Dinner Salad. We also shared the huge Club Sandwich. I brought home a slice of Cherry Pie for my hubby. Everything was fantastic and enjoyable. Highly recommend! Make room for their pies.

Apparently the kitchen was short staffed so instead of ordering a breakfast item we ordered a couple of paninis. The food took some time to come out but again, they were short staffed and it's Sunday brunch , there's gonna be a wait and that's fine! When we did get our food we both really enjoyed our paninis! The Green Belt Melt was delicious and not over stuffed, the bread was in my opinion the best part though. Really tasty and crunchy! The inside of the place was also super warm but the building itself is an old house, like a very old house, so again what can you expect? Overall we'd definitely come back but hopefully get a table downstairs and go earlier in the day when it isn't as hot.

What an amazing meal!…read more My fiancé and I swung by for lunch on our way to the Witte and we're so glad that we did. The interior of this place was so unique, the staff were welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. Naturally we had to sit in the upstairs dining area just for the novelty of it, and while we didn't have to wait too long for our meal, we had fun playing the trivia card game that was on each table. I ordered the Parmo Pollo Panini with Tomato Basil Soup. The chicken in the Panini was a little dry, but coupled with the Tomato Basil Soup I could hardly tell. While they were delicious together, both were just as tasty on their own. The Panini was a good hearty sandwich, and the Tomato Basil Soup was packed full with delicious spices. I ended up taking up half of both the Soup and Panini to go as the portions were so large. I'm glad we went at the start of lunch rush as it was packed by the time we left. I'd highly recommend W D if you're after a satisfying meal!
