I enjoyed my experience at Savory, it reminded me of Penzy's. The have a wide variety of spices and I was pleased to be able to buy my hard-to-find spices (i.e. Galangal, Thai bird chilies) and I like how they're organized by need (baking, sweet, bbq, etc). It's easy to shop and browse. I also received excellent customer service. The assistant manager welcomed me into the store and upon discovering that it was my first time, she gave me a quick overview of the shop. The staff are very knowledgeable about cooking and spices. This is a great place for foodies and novices alike.

Very helpful, knowledgeable, patient travel agent. She followed up and kept me on track with coordinating plans among our small group.

From the moment I stepped inside, the staff was warm, welcoming, and super knowledgeable. They explained the layout of the store and all the awesome services they offer. It happened to be the weekend, so bonus: samples galore! I tasted granola, cheesecake, a mocktail, a cucumber sandwich (fancy!), and a delightful tea. Spoiler alert: everything was amazing. Speaking of tea, they'll brew up any tea on the shelf for you to sip in-store or take to go! The place is packed with goodies: shelves of teas, spices, flavored sugars, and even some adorable gift items like candles. But my personal win? I've been searching all over for Hungarian paprika. Not only did they have it, they had both sweet and hot varieties. I had no idea paprika came in so many varieties! If you're a tea lover, spice enthusiast, or just like discovering fun local gems, this place is a must-visit. Friendly folks, unique finds, and tasty samples? I'll definitely be back!

I have gotten a few bags of teas from here now and love them -- definitely need more of these in omaha! What a lovely place!

I haven't been to the Omaha Whole Foods in a long time, maybe one to two years. It's not a super…read moreconvenient location and it's not very close to my home, so I mostly come when I need to get the odd ingredient. I stopped by today in particular to get apples because I forgot to grab them during my normal grocery run and I happened to be nearby. The first thing I noticed was the exterior building. It doesn't look like it's been updated or that well kept up since it was constructed. It looks like the building has aged, and that big sign on a post looks dated as well. The interior was not dirty, but also looked dated and could definitely use a refresh. Businesses in the Regency area tend to look fancier and better well kept up, so I'd like to see this Whole Foods get a little TLC. I just feel like the vibe is off a little from what I would expect. I also expected to see a wider variety of apples. I guess to me Whole Foods means lots of organic and natural items as well as a broader selection than what you might find at conventional grocery store like Hy-Vee. But that really wasn't the case. Other than having lots of organic options, the specific types of apples weren't that unique or exciting. When it came time to check out, there was not a single open register with a human being. They only had self check out open, which is not my immediate preference.

Upon entering I saw the computerized shopping carts with scanners and decided to give it a try. Once I figured out how to scan my ID into the cart, it worked perfectly. I found a 23 pound fresh turkey and had no problems scanning it into the cart. Also found some nice stuffing mix and chicken broth and scanned them into the cart too. Was looking for a specific type of beer and asked the person in the beer cooler about it. He said they didn't have it but recommended a nice alternative. Checkout was extremely easy using the cart once I figured out which lane I had to go through to trigger the final checkout. I'm a tech geek so enjoyed the whole shopping experience and the ambiance of the store. Was cool that the digital receipt showed up in my Amazon account. Prices were higher than I would normally pay, even for organic labeled food, but Whole Foods was the only place I could with organic labeled fresh whole turkey. The turkey and stuffing were delicious, so I consider it worth the cost. I'll probably be back next year for another turkey.
