You guys.. I'm geeking out. Cant believe this place exists in omaha and I'm SO GRATEFUL it does. You can find everything here from fresh produce from local farms, herbs & spices, dried flours and legumes, shampoos / conditioners, & every non toxic trinket under the sun. I love all of the sustainable and non toxic home goods they have as well as their mix with foods and spices. There's literally nothing you can't find here!! It's amazing! You can bring in your own jars and get discounts for filling them up instead of buying new bottles. There is nothing they don't have here, I could go on and on. The staff is super friendly and helpful for any questions you might have, and also super knowledgeable! It's a beautiful little corner spot with lots of natural light, gorgeous essential oil scents, and a gift to our omaha. "Exist Green" intrigued me and I had to stop in to see what this place was all about. I am SO glad I did! I am in awe of this shop in Dundee that is committed to zero waste. I love how you can donate containers for others to use to help try to prevent waste. They have SO many amazing products here from handmade soaps to shampoos/conditioners to lip balm to deodorant to local produce to seasonings to so many pantry items! I was greeted shortly after coming in to let them know if I had any questions. It is so beautiful and filled with natural lighting throughout. I am also incredibly impressed by the pricing for great quality items. It seems like this place helps make it accessible for all to shop without so much waste. I definitely want to come back here again to refill on various items I have in my kitchen to support this absolutely incredible business. I had been wanting to find a place like this in Omaha for so long, so I'm so happy I stumbled upon it on a walk around Dundee. I was impressed with this sustainable shop. I found them at the recommendation of a friend for fresh dried herbs. They had a good variety of herbs and also cute jars for storing them.. along with many other produce items and organic foods and self-care items. Lots of uniqueness to this little local shop. This is another great place in the Dundee neighborhood. It's unusual because there isn't any packaging. It's a place where you refill your own bottles or you can buy some bottles there. You can also reuse the bottles of people that have dropped off and they have sanitized. I really love this place. I was visiting from Florida to get out of the heat I was really excited to see that there was a place like this in this little place of Dundee. It's really a gem. And you're lucky to have it. Apparently this shop has been in Dundee since summer 2019, and I had no idea! I happened to walk by today and decided to take a look. Exist Green is a local shop dedicated to zero waste. When you enter the store, the right side is the "zero waste market" and the left side is the "eco boutique". The first thing I noticed from market side was the stunning display for spices. If you bring in your own container, you receive a 5% discount. The market also carries produce and pastries. With commitment to sustainability, produce inventory is constantly changing. I plan to return to give the vegan pasties a try! On the boutique side, they sell beauty products and supplies, cleaning products, plastic-free toys, and more. I was also excited to see they sell silicone straws, metal straws, produce bags, convenient silverware packs, and reusable beeswax food wraps. I absolutely love that a shop like this exists in Omaha! The shop even provides a community compost drop off! Exist Green presents easy switches everyone can make to benefit the planet. To top it off, they even have a rewards program which you can redeem for reusable straws or reusable bags. Definitely come visit to support local and support sustainability! read more

Love this store! It matches with my goals of zero waste and I'm tackling one area at a time, currently transitioned over shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, dental floss, wash cloths, reusable cotton rounds, mouth wash, straws, q-tip, and just switched over on laundry detergent! I've tried out some makeup and still experimenting in that area! They are so helpful in the store and my kids LOVE going with to play with the toys for that purpose at the front of the store to hopefully keep them from touching all the beautiful things! There are not enough good things to say about this shop. We've been coming here for about nine months, and the positive strides we've been able to make in our environmental impact have been incredible! From learning about all of the product swaps we can make to lesson our impact (that are carried in store) to beginning our composting journey (there is a compost drop off for store customers and Hillside Solutions subscribers), this little shop has already made such a huge impact. The owner genuinely cares about the products she sells and the mission of creating a better world for her community and customers. The fresh produce, plastic-free/sustainable boutique options, and the HUGE variety of spices and baking supplies are just a few of the reasons we keep coming back! read more

If you are looking for a way to decrease your carbon footprint, you should definitely check out Exist Green. They have a large selection of bulk spices and foods. If you don't bring anything to take home, lets say, some rice, you can purchase reusable canvas bags to take them home in. Then, when you come back next time, just remember to bring those bags! They not only sell groceries such as the bulk spices and grains, they sell eggs when available, vegetables, and fruits depending on the season. The other half of the store is dedicated to bathroom necessities such as toothpaste, soaps and facial products. All these products are eco friendly. You can even find laundry detergent, toys, and recycled jewelry! Exist green cost a little bit more than if you were to buy something from a regular grocery store, but I think it's worth it especially if you are trying to use more eco friendly products and/or trying to reduce waste. read more
